Lance Grey is in a dark crystal room, and is sitting on a smooth bed of crystal.
Lance Grey: (Depressed Sigh) How long have I been in here?... How long have I been training, fighting, and bleeding to get stronger?... Will it even be enough? Will I be enough to stop Dawnbreaker?... I have to be, I no longer feel pain, I no longer need to eat or sleep, I no longer feel, human... I've sacrificed so much, so it must be enough, it must work... I must defeat the Great Demons, I must protect my friends and family... I must, become a Great Demon god. (Lance says determinately as he walks forward, and a passage opens up, allowing him to leave the room)
Some time later, The Midnight Lance is sparring with Madam Maim, their dark swords clashing as they attack each other at super speeds.
After finishing their sword training, Lance makes his dark sword vanish from his hand, and so does Maim.
