Lance has found the Dark Hyenas, but they weren't Hyenas anymore. They've been training to become High Curses ever since they resurrected. Though they haven't reached that level yet, they were stronger than they were before.
Runt: Then I was told to fight, Horror! I mean how was I supposed to beat her! (Runt explained to Lance while they sat on some dark crystal boulders, alongside Huntress and the others, who still wore human appearances)
Lance Grey: Whose Horror? (Lance asks)
Runt: She's this really scary High Curse that spars with us sometimes.
Huntress: I'm not scared of her. (Huntress scoffs)
Ravager: You've also never won against her either. (Ravager said with a smile)
Huntress: What did you say?! (Huntress asked angrily)
Ravager: Nothing, nothing! (Ravager says as he waves his hands to illustrate his point)
