"That sounds like a plan, "I said excitedly to hear she was awake. "I'm kinda surprised Maria is up so early."
"I was little too but I sent her a message and she replied to it. She said John is still sleeping. Sometimes I think the moon phase gives us ladies an energy boost. While it drains the men of their energy." Abby joked as we kept walking away to the stairs. We both knew the mating during the moon phase is what causes impairment to hybrid men into feeling tiredness.
"Talk about an energy steal," I joked back then Abby and I laughed together. "Seems like you and Maria are tiptoeing away from your sleepy husbands."
Abby laughed and told me. "Hey, us ladies need a break too. Sometimes it's nice whenever your husband leaves for training or work. But between you and me, I do think Maria likes being near John a lot. She's more clingy to him."
"You're not clingy to your husband, Rick," I asked wondering.
Abby giggled as we headed up the stairs. "I am but I think we all are but time away from your husband can be nice too. Before too long, you'll understand what I am talking about. I'm sure you'll start feeling it with Cory if you aren't already."
"I don't know what I am feeling," I tried not to blush ruddy when I attempted to deny it.
"Will pause on that thought. That's why Maria and I want to have some girl time with you. This way it's just us chatting without the guys." Abby told me when we stepped onto the second floor.
I wasn't sure how I felt about that idea. With talking about what I am feeling. Honestly, I didn't wanna think about it, I felt. As Abby and I roam on down the neverending residences hallway.
"Oh, here's my room," Abby said, going to this door on our left. Luckily, her room wasn't too far down, I thought, feeling great relief.
She opened the door and we talked into her living room. Again the setup wasn't any different than the other rooms I've been in. I could tell Rick allowed Abby to decorate it.
"Just wait here and I'll be back," whispered Abby so she wouldn't wake her sleeping husband. As quietly as she could, she closed the door. It creaked and she made a goofy face trying not to laugh. Afterward, she tiptoed down the hallway.
Abby went quietly back, seeing her zonked-out naked husband on his torso. He had a blanket-covered around his waist. Passing the front of the bed. Abby grabbed her things from the closet. Along with a red and orange-designed bag.
It didn't take her long to come back down with her things. Then we both quietly left and started making our way back to the stairs. Once we arrived on the third floor, we saw Maria with a pink bag over her shoulder. She stood outside Cory's room... or I guess our room. Eh, this was still too new for me.
Maria asked excitedly, "Did you get your swimsuit, Abby?"
Abby replied holding up her bag, "yup I am all set."
"I just need to get mine," I told them.
I opened the door and let Maria and Abby into the room
"I never thought I'd be setting foot in Cory's room." Abby made that comment when walking in.
"I know right," Maria added giddily. "I never would have thought we'd befriend the Primary King's chosen Primary Queen."
I gave them both a weird look telling them. "I don't get why that is. You're married to Cory's Highest-ranked men."
But Abby and Maria giggled at me.
Abby clarifies, "that doesn't mean we had access to it. Before you, Cory hadn't chosen a wife. So there wasn't any need for him to allow any of his highest-ranked men's wives to come into his room."
Maria added. "Remember I've explained this to you before. Since we're forming a friendship with you. We are allowed to come in unless Cory told us to leave. Cory's a private man, his room is like his getaway. Other times, he likes to sit outside on certain patios and he doesn't like any women disturbing him. Even his Primaries hardly interrupt him during his time to think and caught a breather. Before he makes a big decision. Cory is a very wise leader and well respected."
"Now I remember this," I said, sighing. "There is just so much information I've learned recently, you kinda forget."
"Don't worry about it and get your stuff," Maria said. "Then we will talk at the pool. Since mostly everyone is still sleeping. It will be nice to talk and those snobs will still be in bed with their husbands."
I didn't say anything and walked back into my closet and found a clean bikini. This one was black with blue petal designs on it. I found a blue bag and threw what I needed into it. After I walked out I went to my vanity and grabbed a hair tie. In case I needed one. Just when I was about to walk away. Something shiny caught my eye. I do a double-take and my dragon egg stole my sight. The red rubies on it were now a light ocean blue color. I pondered for a second trying to make sense of this since it didn't hatch for me. But I saw the sunlight sparkling onto the gems. Perhaps the sunlight caused this change of color on the gems, I wondered.
"Are you ready yet or did you get lost in your closet?" I heard Abby holler from down the hallway. I couldn't help but laugh at what she said. My walk-in closet was like stepping into another room.
"I'm coming," I said, heading down and seeing them laughing too at what Abby said.
After we left the room. We pretty much giggled ourselves back down inside the indoor pool room. We went across the room between the adult section and kid area and entered the changing room to put on our bikinis. We came back out at about the same time. I saw Maria had on pink bikini with white gemstones on it. Then Abby had on a orange one with red flower patterns on hers.
