Chapter 211 - Ch 211: Coral Rock

From up here, I could see Sally standing herself off to the side while she watched the other ladies drive-in and then come back up to drive-in again. Maria reached the top from jumping in and I saw she was heading over to Sally. They were talking together, so I tried to tune in my hearing to only hear them speaking. But the area was pretty loud. With how everybody's voices echo off the cliffs from around the spring. Nonetheless, I still tried to concentrate and heard some mumbling.

"Would you like to take a turn, Sally?" Maria asked her.

Sally giggled saying, "I think I have a fancy move."

"Well go for it girl," said Abby smiling. "Let's see what you got."

Unfortunately, from being too high up. I could only faintly hear their muttering voices. But I got the hint Sally was going next. Plus, all the ladies spread off to the side giving her room. So that gave me a clue as well.

I ignored my friends still talking about whatever. Right now, I am more enthralled to see my bride jump in. Sally stepped forward and did three backflips on top of the rock base and dived right in the water so smoothly. I'm rather surprised and stunned by how beautifully she flipped and dived her body into the water. Hardly making a splash, she jumped anomaly in with elegance.

"That bride of yours got some moves on her," Aaron commented awestruck himself by watching her. I was so enchanted by how she moved her body so elegantly and sexy. That I didn't even realize my friends were paying attention.

"She was an entertainer that's probably why she can flip like that," Jay mentioned.

"Oh, so she's like Abby," Rick said intrigued.

I nod answering Rick without speaking and looked around not spotting any bubbles or signs of her resurfacing but she still had air. Hybrid females can hold their breath for about 5-7 minutes underwater.

Meanwhile from under the water, the second she dove down. She wanted to explore and swam herself deeper into the depths. Until she reached what appeared to be the bottom, she calculated. As she looked around swimming closely near the bottom. She pushes her long flowing locks of blonde golden tint hair out of her view. To see a shoal of small colorful rainbow fish passing her. Inwardly, she giggled to see there were other fish and even large hand-size fish. Unfortunately, they were too shy and either swam away too fast or they hid within the coral rock and reefs.

The rocks were like a dark charcoal black color that shimmered and sparkled. As she looked around the bottom glittered for some unusual reason. So she swam the remaining way down wanting to know why that bottom glittered. Once she went down deeper, she scooped up some sand in her hands and watched it dazzle in her palms. It was so beautiful to me, she said in her head. The sand was black yet it shimmered with glitter that shined and sparkled. Sally is in awe to see the hidden beauty that bestowed itself from the underwater depths. It was remarkable, she thought. There were no words to describe it.

After shaking the sand off her hand. I felt it was time to resurface, she told herself. She placed one foot on this coral rock to help boost herself up to the surface. Once giving the added pressure on the coral rock. She lunges her body upwards wanting to resurface.

Suddenly, the coral rock grumbled and snagged her foot up to her ankle like a set of sharp teeth. Instead of going up, her body was yanked down! And she looked to see that coral hooked around her foot like it was devouring it like a tasty treat. She bent her body forward trying to free it by using her hands. But when she touched the coral, she found it was too sharp for her fingers to snap it into pieces. So she couldn't break it without losing a finger, she speculated. Luckily, I didn't cut my fingers, she thought when she tried.

Nonetheless, Sally realized her foot was terribly stuck. So she did the next best thing she could think of and started kicking her stuck foot in hopes it would release her. Instant pain signaled up her foot, she saw blood swirling out of the coral rock where her foot was locked up to her ankle. But that wasn't the worst of it.

Now she realized the more she moved the tighter that coral rock latched onto her feet. Panicked, pumped her heart as she looked above. Oh, goodness, she was so deep down she barely even saw the surface. She tries to make bubbles with her hands and mouth but she was so far down. That those bubbles popped just a little above her head. She panicked realizing she couldn't get a signal to anyone above the surface.

••••

Meanwhile, above the surface, Maria said, "shouldn't she be back up."

"She should be unless she's likely just looking around. Her air would be running out soon. We ladies can't hold our breath for too much longer." Abby mentioned.

Maria said feeling scared, "but she's not coming up."

My eyes looked for her as I somewhat heard Maria was getting scared.

"Do you think something's wrong?" Aaron asked. "she hasn't resurfaced."

The second Aaron questioned that. I felt this sudden sheer fear creep up my spine. It was something I have never once experienced in my life. Then I felt panicked another emotion that I wasn't aware I even had. My mind was getting stressed and I found myself fogging over like I couldn't think straight.

"Somethings wrong we don't see her!" I faintly heard Maria, Abby, and the other women on the rock cry out.

From below on the left side of the water hanging out with some men, JJ yelled, "she needs out of there now!"

Now it hit me that these emotions I was feeling weren't my own but it was Sally! The bond connection set deep enough for me that I was now starting to feel what she felt. It lit like a torch through me to feel this unbearable fear and panic coming from Sally. I didn't think the bond connection set this deeply with me. Suddenly, I felt her pain! She's hurt!

"We need to get her!" I yelled and went to leap off the high rock.

"Cory stop you aren't thinking clearly!" Nick yelled when he tried to get up and stop me. But I barely heard Nick's voice as he tried to stop me from driving in.
