After listening to a few men chatting, Nick walked into the living room. He sat in the boxed-shaped chair sorta across the glass door next to the couch that is alongside the wall. He peeked his sight at Samantha and me still on the floor. And then, he glanced eyes at Abby, Anna, and Miranda suspiciously like he knew something was up.
"Is there a problem here, ladies?" Nick asked as his voice vibrated off broadly. Coldness crept into his eye like another warning.
"No, not at all," lied Miranda holding in her anger as she sliced another glare at Abby.
Before she slowly left the room while Abby sat back down on the floor, proceeding to play with Samantha. Nick wasn't oblivious to anything going on.
Anna went over to Nick without holding back she leaned downward giving him this surreal intense sexy kiss. This was repulsive, I felt, especially when this seductive scene was going on with Samantha here. At least, she wasn't aware of this, from being content to play with her dolls. Nevertheless, you could still hear their lips pecking together as Nick's one hand unhurriedly held her waist. Anna started to lean herself in to sit on his lap.
Regardless, of the kiss being on the hot side. I could tell from the way Nick kisses her there wasn't any feeling to it for him. Whereas I've noticed, that Pete and John carried that loving passion when kissing their wives.
After this long sucking sound from biting Nick's lower lip, Anna pulled her lips away. I could see from the side view, that she beamed a loving smile whereas Nick gave a half-smile that is friendly but it wasn't love. Nowhere matching the way Anna seemed to have loved him, I would say. Nick's emotions were avoidant, his heart was blank. No, blocked. No, better yet froze to stone beneath him. He was living in a neverending suffering stuck inside the abyss of darkness.
"Are you done working?" asked Anna when she seductively tickled her pointer finger on his collar bone.
Nick ululate a deep chuckle and plainly said without a care. "I am never done working." Carelessly, he removed her palm from caressing his bare skin around his black tank-type muscle shirt, exposing part of his chest. "Get up, I need to do something on my phone."
Anna's eyes burned with this pain and she felt slightly insulted. Without a word, she huffed annoyed, and stormed out of the room. Nick knew she was upset but he didn't seem to care when he took out his phone to stare at the screen.
"Is something wrong, Abby?" Nick asked peeking at her from his phone seeming to show care in his complexion.
"I'm good," replied Abby combining a doll's ginger-colored-hair. Yet, I caught her wiping away one straying teardrop away when falling from her left eye. It was obvious that Anna and Miranda hit a sensitive spot for Abby that involved her family. I felt for Abby and whatever deep pain she had buried beneath her heart. Abby was a strong woman indeed, I felt and believed.
While I saw Nick sorta nod to her response and begin texting someone, I assumed when on his phone. Randomly, Matt popped himself into the room flopping a seat on the couch here, alongside the window.
"How are you ladies doing?" Matt asked pleasantly staring at Abby and me.
Abby said with a smile, "I am doing good, Matt."
"Glad to hear that, Abby," Matt said and asked. "What about you Sally, are you feeling better now?"
"I'm feeling much better," I told him making eye contact.
Matt smiled asking, "did you get something to eat with, JJ?"
"Yes, he feed me and gave me some berry leaf tea," I replied.
"Oh, I love that tea!" Abby randomly said. "It's so relaxing and soothing and helps with stress. JJ knows his naturally grown herbs."
"Right you are Abby," commence Matt.
"JJ does know what he's doing. I must say, Sally, you look much better compared to earlier."
I kinda shrug in consensus as Samantha got up from the floor with a doll and blue silk-lace-made doll gown. She went right over her to dad, Nick.
Samantha asked so sweetly, stretching out her hands. "daddy can you put this dress on my dolly?"
It melted my heart to see Nick put his phone down on the lap of his black jeans and shone pure love looking at his baby girl. Seeing this was joyous to know Nick loved his daughter as any loving father should. Believe it or not, it's rare in our worlds for fathers to outwardly shine out pure love towards their children, especially with their daughters.
"Anything for you, baby girl," Nick said super sweetly to his precious child.
He takes the ceramic-made doll and expensive-looking princess gown from her tiny hands and started doing that for her. As I heard Matt bellowing up like a child, causing me to look at him. He has this mischievous grin plastered on his face staring at Nick.
"Don't you even think about it!" Nick's voice warns when shifting his sight up diagonally toward Matt still grinning like a kid up to no good. I was a bit lost as to what was going on here but Abby tried holding a giggle yet failed as it squealed out.
"I'm biting my tongue here," Matt roared up laughing.
"There are two ladies and my daughter in the room!" Nick chuckled failing at keeping a serious face.
"Abby's immune to me," Matt proclaimed.
As Nick and Abby cackled louder than he said. "Not Sally or my kid!"
"I can't keep it in!" Matt burst out in laughter.
"I swear, Matt, I will punch you so hard right now!" Nick warned teasingly.
I was very confused here as to what they were talking about.
And yet randomly, we heard Clara's soft cute voice talking somewhere outside the room. Without a sound, Samantha just skipped off leaving her dad with the doll. As if she no longer care or had forgotten about it but still he continued to dress the doll. Causing Matt to roar up even louder as that mischievous grin widens. What is going on, I pondered not understanding what this was about.
