"Why did I hear screaming coming from your room," asked JJ merely whispering when he walked in.
So again I explained what happened in the unknown language, once John shut the door.
JJ was speechless thinking to himself. "I'll draw some blood work on her," he said breaking silence. "Maybe something will show. Also, I can do another gender test on her."
"Sounds good," I replied.
"Oh, by the way for a heads up the moon phase showed on the solar radar. It will be breeding time." JJ didn't fail to notify me.
"I figure that," I exclaimed.
"I've already heard tons of guys are going to try impregnating their wives. Including the ones who lost their unborn during the attack. If their successful with conception our unborn numbers will come back from the loss we took from that attack." JJ told.
"Good, I hope everyone will be successful," I said. "We need the numbers up since we lost a lot with that attack. Also, I'll need to figure out what to do with Sally. This will be her first heat cycle with having an imprint."
Jay bellows and then said. "Well, maybe after she experiences her first real heat cycle. She'll stop denying the imprint. Perhaps you'll stop denying what you feel too."
"I am not denying anything," I replied laughing. "I told you I feel something."
"Then you're finally going to say the words you love her?" John mocked me in a joking tease.
Everyone knew outwardly saying those words wasn't an easy thing for me to admit.
I chuckled and teased. "Are you planning on knocking your wife up again with another unborn?"
"She just had a baby it's unlikely she'll go into heat," John said smirking.
We couldn't help but laugh at this one. John was in disbelief when Maria conceived Samuel not during the moon phase. It's like a 1% to conceive an unborn not during the moon phase. During the moon phase, you have an 80% chance for a breed-able female to conceive. Since the plagues of our ancestors, breeding has been so hard and unborns die so easily even if a female does get pregnant. Still even to this very day nobody knows why are breeding is so low and more times is unsuccessful. Then it doesn't help that a woman's breeding days can stop at anytime.
"Yeah, and nice changing the topic there Cory," added John cracking up with Jay and JJ.
I lost it laughing, "it worked didn't it!"
Then JJ stated chuckling, "Cory, you and Sally need to stop it! It's not that hard to say the words I love you."
I only laughed and decided not to share with them that I did manage to tell her, I loved her. I mean it was hard enough to spit it out with her. So I don't even wanna attempt to tell my pals this.
"As for Maria, she'll likely go into a mild heat cycle this Moon Phase. If anything I'd say she'll just be moody but her body isn't ready to conceive until after four months from having a baby." JJ directed that to John which still took me out of my thoughts.
John rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Moody! She's been chewing my head off lately! Why else would I leave her with my brother? She even informed me I am forbidden to be in the room during the moon phase."
We laughed at him like crazy.
Jay said laughing, "I don't get women. The guys always tell me. Their wives will sleep with them anytime but just before the moon phase hits. These married ladies tell their husbands to keep away from them."
JJ first chuckled and educated us being the technical science man. "Yeah, there is a reason why. This is the only time they feel like they lose control. Their bodies crave sexual intimacy. We guys and teenage boys crave sex on a daily basis. It's something we deal with and it doesn't phase us. But this is the one time during the month where the breedable females a hundred years and older crave it. Women and breeding-age teenage girls don't know how to handle it. As we know it's rare for a hundred-year-old marrying age teenage girl to even go into her breeding age around her hundreds. Which makes it even more difficult for them."
"Well, now that you educated us on something we already knew. Why do you help me out on how to get Sally through it since she and I can't mate." I mockingly told JJ.
"Well for starters will have to keep an eye on her temperature rise," replied JJ having a smirk on his face.
Before I could continue this conversation Maria came down the hall from the master bed.
Hey, what's up?" Maria asked from hearing the men almost talking lowly. "What are you guys talking about?"
John proclaimed chuckling, "nothing you would care to know."
Maria gave her husband a weird look and said. "Ok, maybe I don't wanna know." She knew John and his friends well and took his word for it.
"Anyways, Maria, Cory is here to speak with you," John told her.
