Chapter 140 - Ch 140: He is so annoying

~ He is so annoying and yet why do I feel myself almost wanting him? His kiss is so passionate it almost makes me melt. He is so strong and could easily break me in half. Yet, even with me fighting him hard to getaway from him. He's been so gentle with me. His tight grip around me hasn't even hurt. If I wasn't still partly annoyed, I'd feel this was romantic. But I didn't wanna see him like that.

"You don't think I won't break the glass through the baloney doors? Or even just break down the front door to the room for that matter?" Cory spoke softer but still had that playfully glint in his eyes

Yet, I couldn't believe what he said. Was he being for real?

"Isn't that being a little too extreme?" I giggled and gleamed.

Cory chuckled and placed his head on mine saying softly. "Yeah, probably because I'd have to replace everything, I broke. But it wouldn't be the first time. A lot of my men had a bad enough fight with their wives. That she'd try to lock her husband out of the room. Usually, by the end of the fight, a door is getting replaced."

Cory and I faintly chuckled together at what he told me. All while we gazed into each other's eyes. I wasn't sure why but feeling his forehead on mine felt romantic. Gosh, I was losing here and melting for him.

"Well, you can spare yourself the embarrassment and just sleep outside the door. I'll even toss you out a blanket and pillow." I playfully told him as my eyes shone when I giggled. Oh, my goodness what is wrong with me, I thought, but couldn't fight to pull away this time.

Cory looked at her seeing she was glimmering and said çhuckling. "Not even married yet and you already put me in the mutt-house."

"Oh, yes big time!" I said finally taking my head away to realize, I was flirting. Goodness, get a grip here, Sally!

Cory chuckled and replied with a mocking grin. "You'll just end up in the mutt-house beside me. I gave you the master bedroom and where do find you? Oh, yes! To my surprise right in the living room with me."

Again he fueled my anger and my eyes spat fire. He snapped me awake from feeling all gooey for him. I gave him a death-like dirty glare.

He sees she was flaming mad. So Cory touched her cheek and brushed her hair back from behind her right ear and said in a softer sincere tone. "I already told you. If you need me just wake me. Good thing, I left out a blanket and pillow for you."

Without her realizing it Cory was testing her some and reading what she felt. He felt her boiling anger yet he felt her struggle with falling for his charm. He question if she was going into heat soon. He noticed the other women in his women seemed to be on the irritable side too.

Instantly, I stopped giving him a dirty look. "You left the blanket out for me! How would you even think I'd be out there?" I asked shocked as ever.

Cory kisses my forehead and said. "I didn't know but I kinda figured since you were traumatized. Maybe you wouldn't want to be alone during the dim light." He paused for a moment and looked down to the ground and stopped his rage from brewing. Once he gathered himself, he veered his eyes up and connected back to hers. "You don't have to hide anything from me. I am here for you. Don't be scared to talk to me."

I smiled faintly and tried breaking away from his eyes. Honestly, what is going on with me?

"Let's go take a walk in the woods there's something Id like to show you." Cory randomly said. Although he was thinking more like it was something, I wanted to introduce you to but he didn't share that aloud.

"I thought it's dangerous in the woods with the creatures?" I asked perplexed.

Cory said starting to walk towards the right "It is but even the kids play in the woods here. Most of the creatures go their own way but you just have to be cautious. Males are normally the most aggressive ones. Besides we have some reinforcements around here."

"Sounds like all you typically males." I giggled but I wasn't joking.

"Well, you ladies make us nuts. We are either fighting over you or fighting for you." Said Cory mockingly grinning as he takes my hand again and led me toward the woods.

"Very funny!" I said rolling my eyes. "If it's that dangerous I'm surprised you let the kids play in here."

Cory teased me and said mocking. "Sally! Are you telling me you're scared of the woods! You walked five miles in the woods at my dad's mansion. When you had the gall to climb down my balcony the first day I had you. Then you run and get yourself involved with scavengers! But somehow now you're scared?"

"I never said I was scared of the woods!" I spat out loudly. "You're being so annoying today, Cory!"

The gall me! Oh, no! The gall of him to say this to me! I was fuming here. Boy, he knew how to push my buttons the wrong way!

Cory laughed harder and said. "I'm the annoying one! Yet, you're the one who tried to insult me! Who's the one who really started this?" He mockingly asked.

I rounded my eyes in a half cycle. "Cory you really need to grow up!" I barked and snapped at his childish tease.

But Cory continued to laugh unfazed. "I can't grow up." He started edging it on more between his laughter. "Then I won't be able to annoy you anymore if I did."

Oh, that does it! I yanked my hand out of his grasp and marched myself on ahead nearing the woods. All the while I heard him laughing like a moron behind me. I felt so irritated right now I felt like whipping him a stick. But knowing my luck he'll probably find it more humorous.
