• Momentarily, on the dot, Aaron entered the room.
"What's going on?" He asked not knowing what this was about.
So I handed him the capsule and said. "Sally found that embedded somewhere in her arm."
That was about when Sally came out of the bathroom looking at us lost in her worry.
Aaron smiled at her after studying the device and asked. "Hey, Sally. Could explain how you found this in your arm?"
She nodded seeming more at ease and frankly beautiful in her newly bought dress.
She showed him her arm explaining. "It was in my right arm below my wrist up underneath this bone."
"This is an old tracker device," Aaron said, while putting it inside a small baggie he pulled out of his pocket.
"Is it active?" I asked.
"Very much," Aaron replied covering up his concern from Sally. "I need to study it more."
"You got to be kidding me! Nick started çhuckling. "And I just got back again."
He had us laughing, knowing well, that he wanted to go to bed but now he definitely couldn't.
I took in a deep breath on this one myself. "Alright, we need to evacuate this mansion it's no longer safe here," I said stating the obvious for us but Sally was confused. While I took out my phone and pushed an alert on it. That sent the message for everyone staying here to evacuate the building.
While I was texting my dad to answer why I flagged an alert on his mansion. Hardly four minutes passed since I sent the alert. And already I heard someone barging into my room. As we looked up to see Jay come flying down into the bedroom.
"What's going on?" Jay asked heavily breathing.
Holding up the baggie, Aaron replied. "This tracker was inside Sally. It's not from us so someone might know we're here."
Meanwhile, Sally stood there worried. Watching the men speaking but said nothing.
"I can never lay down for even a second." Said Nick starting to make his way down the hall. "Which place are we going to?" He shouted up while opening the door to leave.
We chuckled at him whining.
"Yeah!" I hollered still texting. "The last one we were just at!"
"Alright, I gotta get Samantha!" Nick yelled up.
Jay yelled out to Nick before he left. "She's in your room with Matt! Once we got the alert, he started getting her ready!"
"Ok!" Nick then shut the door and ran to his room a few doors away.
As I was texting my men in the military chat, staying in that Mansion, I was going back too. I told the men I wanted the wolf pack away, and out of the mansion, or they were to stay in their rooms. Sally had enough going on. So I wanted to introduce her to the pack on another day. When she wasn't so upset. After I was done, I put away my phone and faced her.
Sally was afraid of her fiance staring at her again. She felt her face go pale because she wasn't sure if he was furious at her for going through his things. Just a moment ago it appeared he was, she thought.
Instantly, her eyes struck to be terrified of the sight of me. Carefully, I approached her but she tried to back away. But I reached her and engulfed her in a huge hug for the moment. I tenderly kissed her head, hoping it will show her, that I wasn't mad at her.
Then I placed our foreheads together and caressed her face. "Now I hope you won't run away anymore," I whispered when I gazed into her eyes. "If Nick wasn't there those guys would have hurt you badly," I emphasized more deeply. "I'm sorry this happened to you but please just try to trust me."
Sally stared at Cory unsure but she saw he was trying to show deep sympathy.
"I'll try." She replied still having fear.
I just smiled and pulled her into my arms for a warm hug. It took a second but she slowly raised her arms around my back. Her hug was faint but my heart leaped to feel her touch me. This was a promising start for us, I thought. She was finally easing up enough to hug me.
Meanwhile from behind Cory's back. Jay and Aaron stood there gleaming to watch, Sally getting comfortable enough to hug him. And they watched Cory finally getting ahold of himself and showing his affection. They knew well, that Cory didn't give a lot of affection to the women, he courted. Most of the time he was cold with them and got bored easily. But Sally held a dear place inside Cory's stoned iced heart.
Both men kinda nod in agreement it was time to leave. To give Cory and Sally more privacy. Aaron and Jay left the room to help get everyone out of the mansion.
After the time stopped for me, I released her with a blissful smile. "We need to get going. Will be staying at another mansion now."
I took her hand and started walking her down the hall. Now I realized Jay and Aaron must have left since I did see them in the room.
Nearing the door suddenly, Sally yanked away saying. "Wait, I need to get something."
So she went back down into the bedroom. And I started following her down wondering what she forget.
She went straight to her vanity grabbing the dragon egg box Cory gave her. Even though she never said it. But the gift meant more to her than she shared with him.
From her vanity, she turned around coming back to me. My iced heart warmed up to see she had that gift, I gave her cupped in her hands.
I couldn't help but gleam. "I would've had someone get that for you."
"I don't want anyone to lose it." She told me as I took her hand, beaming at her.
