• Both brothers hung up on the phone and Dominic weaved in around the gowns asking. "How's he taking that one?"
"Fine," Replied Kaiser. "He said she behaved herself yesterday. But he wonders if it was because Maria was around. She may have helped Sally feel more comfortable."
"Sometimes that helps when you have that one person you're comfortable with can make a huge difference," Dominic told.
Humming, Kaiser said, "Hmm, she tried to escape with mother in the garden."
Jumping in, Chris stated, "Maybe there's something about being around our family is too emotional for her. We tell her she's part of this family. But she's only just learned, she was born in our Kingdom. Learning the truth might be emotionally hitting her somewhere we aren't understanding. She's been abused her whole life by hybrid-men. Then you add an engagement and throw a wedding at her. This whole situation could be eating her alive inside. Her fear of Cory and all of us might be too much for her to deal with right now. It builds up after a while and she just faced a devastating attack."
"Now that's thinking out of the box! Perhaps we should talk to Mike and Matt. And mention this to Cory as well. There's some kind of emotional struggle here that she's not facing. Matt and Mike would be good for the job to help bring her out of it so she gets closure." Dominic suggested.

I just got off the phone with my oldest brother Kaiser. All to inform me that Sally ran away. I should've figured she'd try to flee from me. So I don't know why but I was sorta surprised to hear this. Then again, I sorta wasn't. However, I figured my brothers and their friends would keep a watchful eye on her. Boy, was I wrong, to believe that! And here dad gave me and my friends the lecture about keeping a watchful eye on, Sally.
Here I am making my way down to Nick's room. Now knocking on the door. I chuckled knowing he's going to love hearing this.
Little Samantha answered the door smiling up at me. I looked downward at her giving a big smile, and asked. "Hey princess, where's your daddy at?"
"I'm here, laying in my bed!" Down from the hall, Nick hollered.
Like usual Samantha stayed quiet. Then skipped herself back to her dad's bedroom and crawled back onto his bed. As I followed from behind her.
Nick sat up on his bed wearing no shirt but had on a pair of long black shorts. That had multiple pockets on it with his weapons belt still on and loaded.
All I had to do was give Nick that look and he knew but still, he pointlessly asked me. "What's going on? You have that look on your face."
"You're not going to be happy to hear this but I need you to go get Sally." I chuckled telling him, "She ran away."
Nick laughed for a second on this one. "Oh really?" He joked, "Go figure on my day off, I have to go fetch your pretty bride."
"What day off?" Again I laughed and say harassing him some. "You're a Primary you never have a day off!"
"I resign this position." Nick said joking, "didn't you get the memo?"
"Yeah, you can wish!" I said still laughing because I knew he didn't wanna get up from his slumber. After returning home from a hit run. Nick and the men who went with him haven't had a chance to rest themselves.
"I only wish to just take a nap.' Nick told me laughing. "But I'll do that once I get back, assuming if I am allowed!"
Another knock came at the door so Nick hollered. "Come on in!"
Matt and Jay walked into his room. They came down the hall, and Nick asked them joking around. "I guess you guys need me to go fetch you something too?"
"Yes, I'll take one of those sour orange-lemon iced drinks at the one bar, make it a double shot," Matt said jokingly.
"Don't forget to get yourself one too, Nick. Might I suggest a triple shot for you?"Jay chuckled and teased.
We outburst in laughter on this one.
The sad thing was Nick probably did need a triple shot. Once we cooled down on the laughter.
Nick got off the bed getting a shirt on to get ready to leave. He texted a group of his best Highest-Ranked men under his Division and said. "Im getting my best guys up." Putting away his phone, inside his back pocket. "I'm just waiting on them and I'll be ready to get her."
"Yeah, take my best men from your Division. The shopping center is a decent place but better have them in case you might need them for extra help. Since it's huge down there too." I implied in agreement.
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking in case I do run into problems. She should be easy to find with that tracker inside her. I'll find her in no time." Replied Nick, confidently before he stretched cracking his shoulder.
"Who would have never thought one day we'd be running after Cory's fiance. Go figure you had to pick a feisty one. Now Nick and his Division have to go chase after her." Matt said chuckling amused about this
"It's a pain!" I said feeling mental exhaustion. "Hopefully, she'll stop doing it soon."
Hey, now cheer up, Sally will settle down she just needs time. Matt said patting my back with encouragement.
As Jay added, "Oh, yeah. You made the right move."
"Unlike how things fall apart with me and my ex-wife. Sally, is certainly a keeper and she'll adjust." Said Nick trying to ease my mind.
"Nick's ex-wife had some issues."Jay said, "It won't be like that with you, Cory."
