The three of us came out of the dressing room to find standing nearby the door was Dominic and Chris.
Overhearing, Dominic asked, "Everything alright?"
"We aren't going to look at wedding dresses today," Ashley replied. "Sally is a little distressed about things right now. Instead, we are going to look for dresses to wear at her wedding."
Understanding, Dominic said, "That's a good idea." He looked at me. "Are you going to be okay about that or should I just take you back to Cory?"
Ugh! Why does nobody understand, I don't care to see Cory.
I looked up at Dominic and said honestly. "No, this should be okay. I'm just having a hard time with things."
Dominic showed me his heartwarming eyes. "I know you've heard this a million times. But you will adjust here and you will be so happy. Your wedding will be beautiful and you will love it. By the end of it all, you and Cory will end up loving each other. I understand my brother can be intimidating but he has a kind heart for you. This isn't something I've seen him ever show with any Princess, he's courted. You have great favor with him, I know he will spoil you greatly. Give it time." Dominic implied.
I nodded to what he said but I didn't want to think about this right now. And walked away continuing to browse the dresses for Cory's sisters to wear at the wedding.

Another hour later Kimberly found an orange sherbet color gown but none of us seemed to like it on her when she tried it on. "Maybe I'll just buy this one for a different occasion." Said Kimberly, folding it over her arms to buy it.
Which caused us to giggle at what she said.
Ashley found a light purple dress. "What do you think of this?" She asked me shielding it to her body.
It had sparkles and gemstones on it. Being long with a small slit in the front skirt and flowing in the back.
Studying it over her body, I said. "Now that one is cute! Don't know about the orange one though, it's a little bright."
From the racks, Kimberly came across a pink dress and asked. "What about this one? Since you don't like the orange one."
"I'm not a fan of pink but this one is a lot better than that orange one," I said laughing as I touched the silky fabric.
Surprisingly enough, I found myself having a good time with Cory's sister.

All while the guys observed from further away from the side and saw Sally was calming down. She started laughing and smiling again.
"Seems like she's doing better now. I don't think we need to take her back." Kaiser said spying in.
Beside him, Chris agreed, "Yeah, I think she's okay."
"I was on the phone with Cory a bit ago." Kaiser mentioned, "I told him about what happened and how upset she is."
"What did he have to say?" Next to Chris, Dominic asked.
Kaiser replied, "He said he knows she's upset. And said there's nothing much he can do about that. Except just give it time. I told him, I agreed with that. He also said the sooner we get this wedding over with the better off she might be."
"That might be true. Who knows. Usually, when you're stuck married to someone for eternity you do end up loving them and realizing it wasn't so bad. Once that bond starts to form on her part it will get better. Cory may have sides of him I don't agree with but I know he would be a good husband. At least he better be." Dominic confessed his thoughts.
In agreement, Kaiser told. "Over time, he has matured so much but he's always been mature. Cory fought hard to take over the Kingdom, we saw it coming. He had the momentum and he pushed it. Cory always knew what he wanted in life and had his priority straight. It's just the first time, I've seen him want to share it with a woman. His friends told me, that the second he laid eyes on her, he fell for her. Him being a tough guy, he denied it."
Dominic chuckled, "I don't think he's denying it anymore though. He's always had his emotions blocked uptight. But him forming this imprint has surely affected his mood. Honestly, I don't feel he knows how to handle what he feels for her."
Now Chris jumped into the conversation. "Yeah, that's extremely true. During the attack, he panicked when he was looking for Sally. He was very worried and not worried because of who she is. Cory was worried because he does care for her deeply."
"I've never seen him act like that with any woman. I usually beg and plead for him just to leave one alive." Said Dominic.
Kaiser replied, "He's merciless like Grandfather Phil, and the other Elders, during the times they ran the Kingdom. Where we have mercy on the women from other Kingdoms but Cory does not."
"Isn't that the truth," Chris added. "Honestly, I was hoping he wasn't going to find anymore spying slaves alive. Now having this unbalanced imprint from Sally's rejection. He'll be vicious when questioning those poor girls."
Dominic nods his head, "I've been bracing myself for that one if anyone does find anymore. I don't like it when he interrogates women. I'm sure Sally won't either, once she finds out the truth about what he does."
Kaiser replied, "No, she won't, seeing how she came from slavery. Maybe with her, he'll start learning to be kinder with other women not from our Kingdom."
"Hopefully, that won't turn the other way around and he teaches her to be just as fierce and ruthless as him." Says Chris, bringing up a good point that none of them thought about.
