~ Like swift Ninja, I hurried away from his things and threw my butt down at my vanity's stool! I pulled the tracker from my bra. Quickly, I scurried trying to hide the tracker behind a randomly picked top tiny drawer! Where these fancy clips are held inside. After fidgeting with the drawer some, I got it to slide back and made sure it closed shut. As I now heard the door latch closed from down the hallway. With my shaky hand, I just started scrambling into my makeup. And calmed my heavy breathing by holding my breath, attempting to slow it down.
Cory walked down into the bedroom and sees her getting her makeup on but also noticed something was off. Why does she look so flushed? He inwardly asked himself.
"Sally." He said catching my attention, "I didn't mean you had to speed your way out of the bathroom. You're all out of breath. You can take your time. My sisters are still getting ready themselves."
I somewhat turned my body to face him. "O-oh I didn't know that. I-I was just trying to get ready." I replied trying to keep my voice at a mellow pitch but my attempt likely failed me. I saw that eyebrow of his raising.
"What's going on?" Asked Cory folding his arms at his ribs.
Oh great! I forget he can read me like a book. If books still existed in our worlds. Depending on how I answer, I could give myself away. I am so close to forever escaping him! Think here Sally, you can do this. Soon it came to me so easily in plain sight. Only to swindle him, I let out a different emotion in my mind. Therefore I wouldn't necessarily be lying to him.
In a more troubled tone, I turned to face the mirror looking at myself, "I-I don't... I'm just confused." Things were quiet for merely a second until I heard him walking toward me...
Immediately, Cory did the unexpected and pulled me up from my hand to stand. My body was trembling as I stood. Maybe tricking him was a bad idea!
Until shockingly he gave me a comforting hug. He held me in his chest as my eyes awkwardly crossed back and forth. My head lay in his chest to hear his steady heartbeat. While my arms lay straight at my sides. Once again I was lost for words from his strange affection.
Wait a minute... Did he just buy this one? I mean I am confused so what I told him wasn't a lie.
As I lay in his arms I suddenly felt him give me a tender kiss on the top of my head. His arms rubbed the center of my back so soothingly. Weirdly to think this but I started to find his hug calming. It felt like all my worries are just fading away. I can't understand what is wrong with me. Why do I feel these strange mixed feelings for him?
Again I felt him kiss my head then his lips roamed to my ear. "It's alright, Sally," He whispered. "It's going to be another nice day for you. You're going to spend time with your family so you can get to know them." He paused in words for a second. "And you'll get a break from me." I couldn't help but giggle at his last comment. Oh, he has no idea. As he sorta leaned up some gazing into my eyes. Gosh, his smile and those dazzling eyes of his always take me to a fantasy world. A fantasy world I can't allow myself to get trapped into. His dreamy appearance is only a trap for me.
Yet, this delusion didn't cease when he laid his head on mine. And he continued to gaze at me with those breathtaking eyes of his. I had to break this intensifying attraction between us. I pushed on his forearms as his fingertips slide down my back.
"I should get ready," I told. Just when I felt his hand reach near my butt. That is when I pushed his forearms off me. Luckily, he willingly released me with a sexy grin. Ugh, I just wanna slap this breathtaking hybrid-man. That grin of his makes me melt into a puddle. Ugh, why does this keep happening to me? Don't fall for his deceitful charm.
"Yes, you should do that," Cory replied.
I took a seat on the vanity stool and more at ease I begin to do my makeup.
Meanwhile, he sat down at her bedside
while she continued to get ready. As he kept watching her applying makeup. Wow! She is just so beautiful, he thought. He was completely hypnotized by how gorgeous she is to him. Then holding her just felt incredible! He almost didn't wanna let go. If he didn't have other business affairs that needed his attention. He most certainly would go with her shopping. Unfortunately, there were important matters that required his attention.
After watching her for about ten minutes, she seems about done and ready now. Her beautiful long blonde golden tinted hair was fully straightened and her makeup is done. So he took this time to start messaging his brothers on his phone.
