~ Maria and I sat here listening to the guys joking with each other. But I however am more enthralled out the window with JJ sitting in front of me. My eyes caught sight of beautiful valleys, more woods, hills, meadows... My mind was blown as more kept coming into my view! Sightseeing mended my weary mind for the moment.
On a positive thought, it gave me a chance to study the wondrous world. Without anybody realizing it but I was taking the outside world in to plan my next escape. So I made sure to study every detail my mind could keep.
Soon we came up to a large town with people outside everywhere shopping or hanging out. Cory parked the van in the city town parking lot.
Looking out the front window. "Look at that!" Matt took everyone's attention, "Bossman parked perfectly."
Now Cory laughed and challenged. "Yeah I'd like to see any of you park like that!"
"I'd just park on the sideway." Aaron admitted with a cocky attitude. "We're Kingdom men who's going to question us?"
"Now that's called abusing your power!" Commented JJ laughing, as he sat beside Aaron.
"What's your point, JJ?" Aaron shamelessly said, "I abuse my power daily."
Everybody except for Maria and I laughed at Aaron's guiltless hothead attitude. One after another everyone got out of the van and we started walking on the street sidewalk together.
My eyes kept exploring every inch I could observe. There were many buildings in any direction within the town cycling around each other. Each building was a different size, color, and playful shape. The stone bricks you walked on were a golden yellow color. People were out everywhere chatting on benches from this nearby park. Others were walking around with colorful leather polyester bags. Filled with loads of items inside each one from shopping. I was wholly impressed by this being my first time in town.
As I walked by Maria who was walking with her husband, John. I noticed the men were walking around the edges while maria and I walked more in the center. Cory, Aaron, and Jay were more to the front. Mike, Nick, and Matt were on the left side of me. While John and JJ were on the right side.
About halfway through the town suddenly the men stopped walking. Cory then took out his phone and came toward me while I noticed he pushed a button on it. Oddly puzzled, I saw a credit card pop out of a small-slit opening at the end of his phone. It was black with gold symbols, numbers, and fewer letters on it.
But even more intriguing, he stretched out his hand and handed it to me. "Take my card and buy anything you want," he simply said insisting I do as I am told.
Cautiously, I took the card and said. "I've never seen a credit card before. Nobody's ever handed me one."
"Now someone has." Replied Cory. "It's easy to use just don't lose it."
Now Mike walked up to me and said joking, "so Sally, some first-time shopping advance." He pointed out his hand showing all the stores across from me. "Since Cory said anything. You could just buy this whole block out."
But I gave him a weird expression not understanding his joke. Cory just looked at Mike çhuckling seeming like he understood what Mike meant...
Cory and anybody else knew what wealth he had loaded up on that one single card.
Noticing my lost expression, Maria said smiling at me "He's joking at the same time sorta not joking." Now I was even more confused. I mean I didn't know a lot about credits.
"Just come on. Let's go have some fun shopping." Said Maria glimmering as she tugged my hand.
When Maria and I were about to walk off, Cory demanded, "Mike and Matt are going with you ladies. Maybe if you get lucky enough you can sell them for a good price."
Everyone except for me started to laugh. I just placed the card in my front jeans pocket. While we walked away with Mike and Matt following behind us.
"What Mike meant by his joke is you could actually buy the whole block. Cory is a Primary King, he just gave you a massive credit card amount. He can buy anything he wants with that one single card." Maria explained the Joke to me.
"Why hasn't he?" I was curious and questioned.
"Because what is he going to do with a bunch of shopping stores." Eavesdropping in Matt answered me, from behind us.
"Sally might find shopping stores useful." Said Mike, "Just think of the priceless expressions on these other Kinds' faces will look like if you bought the whole store."
Giggling Maria further explained "Guess I should also tell you Sally, commoners, average, and many more Kinds, don't always like Kingdom men. At times they can be rude to us Kingdom women because of it."
In agreement, Mike nods and said. "That's true. But they won't be rude with you lovely ladies today from us tagging along. Us Kingdom men don't like their men much either, but anyways." Now really joking around again. "What kinda pretty dresses are we going to get today ladies? Do you think we can pick me out something? I need a new dress myself. I'm looking for something that will go with my green-blue eyes."
Now Maria and I laughed at Mike's joke. So Mike said laughing "Alright, I got some giggles on that one even from Sally." He crossed his eyes towards Matt. "That is two points for me and zero for Matt!"
Playing along, Matt said rolling his eyes çhuckling out another joke. "Yeah they're only laughing cause we all know you're not joking." Again we did laugh at them.
Causing Matt to smirk to notice Sally's body language seemed less tense. "Look now! We're tied I got a laugh out of both ladies too."
Both men kinda looked at each other with a nod to inwardly communicate together. They were trying to help Sally, loosen up and relax. So she started to her except her new home with them.
