Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: Analyzing the Attack

Inside a enormous meeting room located on the second floor. My Primaries, dad, brothers, uncles, some cousins, Grandfather Phil, a couple of Elders, and a couple of groups of Highest Ranker men from all six Divisions from any generation. All gathered together to have a discussion about the attack.

On my left were Jay, Matt, Mike, and more Highest Rankers. Then to my right is Aaron, JJ, Nick, and other Highest Rankers. My Royal family and their Highest Rankers were across from me and my men. Others were just standing around the room to hear the discussion

Speaking to everyone, I started the meeting. "Alright, so here is what we have. We found three enslaved women spying in our kingdom. They have been identified and confirmed to belong to Kyle's Kingdom. Leonardo has attempted to revive them for questioning. Unfortunately, their bodies have already shown signs of decay so that will no longer happen. Aaron, do we have anything on our surveillance?"

Now Aaron took over, "Replaying the surveillance on the whole attack. I have noted that a majority of the enemies low-ranks and medium-ranks were the ones targeting the women. There isn't any doubt that this was to eliminate our numbers with the Kingdom's unborns. And they were likely trying to target a loss with the mortal women in our Kingdom. The Highest-Rankers were the ones attacking the men keeping them occupied from protecting the women. Then it was Kyle's Highest Rankers who took down the doors. He had more than enough Highest-Rankers to accomplish his goal. We took a fair loss on this one. They came prepared and we were outnumbered."

"Do we have a calculation on our loss?" Asked the First Elder.

Mike announced, "I do have a calculation as to what loss we have at this time. From JJ's given report to Matt and me. About 567 women will not revive they already show signs of decay. Most of these women were slaves others were servants and a lower number of un-wedded women. Then the Kingdom lost a total of 877,456 pregnancies."

"Ummm, that's a huge loss," Grandfather Phil hummed, "What lost did Kyle take?"

So Matt continued, "We collected 1,345 low ranks from Kyle's men and about 156 of his medium ranks. Combined between those ranks, Kyle didn't lose much. On top of that, we didn't get any of his Highest Rankers."

"Well, I'm not surprised by that." Jay commented, "Like Aaron said they came prepared and outnumbered us. They took each floor within moments. Consider this, we are lucky they weren't collecting anyone's lifeless bodies. We would have lost a good deal of medium and Highest-Rankers. If Kyle would have collected our military fallen brothers. They'd be gone if we didn't find their bodies to revive them. With that being noted, I would like to increase their training time. After we recover from this unfortunate attack".

Nodding with agreement on Jay's opinion, "That's a good idea." I said, "In fact I want all divisions to increase. That includes training time for the teens. Oftentimes, we forget these attacks can happen even during Royal events. Now Nick, what about your Division?"

"Kyle had snipers set up farther away. The men in my Division sniped some out. But unfortunately, we didn't collect their fallen bodies. By the time we reached their location, they were already gone. They would have been Highest Rankers since their shots were good and clean. During the attack, I sent in an alert to stay clear of the windows. That's how they took out a lot of our Highest-Rankers inside the castle and outside it too. Same with the women trapped on each floor." Answered Nick.

JJ shared, "From the looks of everybody's wounds on their bodies. This was a slaughter mainly like Aaron said. The target was the women. It was to bring fear to our Kingdom people. Therefore this wasn't a collection of the fallen. From this attack, Kyle would have taken the land, men, and women who fell upon it."

Uncle Sebastian (the youngest son of Grandfather Phil's five sons) asserted. "The fear will only be brought on the women, not with us men. This was definitely to make us angry."

"Not to mention surveillances showed Kyle targeted to take Sally," Aaron added.

Kinda leaning forward from thinking to myself. "I wonder if that is why Kyle retreated. Kyle knows getting her from me would have been a harder task. Especially, when my top Highest-Ranking men from all six of my Divisions were coming in ready to fight. However, typically that wouldn't have made him call a retreat. When he had the upper hand in a victory. Overall, I find it odd he retreated so easily. I'm curious if there might be a bigger picture here like possibly another war?" I told my opinion.

Oddly looking across the table towards his grandson, Grandfather Phil said. "The last war we had was when I reigned over the kingdom. Just after you were born Cory, is when that massive war started. It's the same war where we lost Sally and the other infants in that nursery so long ago."

Then Tony added, "Oftentimes, I wonder if they are the reason for Sally's disappearance. Perhaps maybe Kyle and his family do know who Sally is."

"We have no actual evidence of this!" In disbelief, Uncle Philippe exclaimed. "We don't even know who took those infants."

Thinking, Tony said, "No but eventually evidence comes forward. There could be a bigger picture here that we may have not seen before."
