Chapter 73 - Chapter 73: Kimberly's brothers

By the look on, Sally's face, Cory's sisters Kimberly, Ashley, and Violet saw her turn white. Her eyes fogged over from shock and she mumbled back to them sweetly. Within a flash, they watched in such sadness as Sally took off.

Their teary eyes stayed on her until she disappeared into the crowd. They realized, Sally's mind was clouded with facing the truth. The truth was disturbing her doubts on their Kingdom being her actual home. Kimberly, Ashley, and Violet kinda glanced at one another in greater sorrow.

There were no words any of them could say. Only pure sadness for Sally filled their hearts. She was lost from them for so long. None of them could imagine the pain she had gone through with being enslaved in the Businessman Society. The sisters by marriage took a moment to themselves.

Meanwhile not too far from behind his darling wife Violet and blood-related sister Kimberly and Ashley his sister by marriage. The three Royal ladies didn't notice they were being spied on, by Kaiser near the staircase side. He wasn't too close nor too far. When he used his well-trained strong sense of hearing. Without Sally even noticing him because played the part of casual. Oftentimes, the Kingdom men always observed things well. They knew more than what the ladies could fully comprehend.

So Kaiser listened in on their conversation quite well. He even read each of their body languages, with Sally's included, but he also studied her dismayed expressions. He understood his soon-to-be-forth welcoming sister (Sally) was struggling greatly with excepting everything.

After giving the ladies a minute for themselves. He gradually strides himself up from behind.

"How did that go?" Asked Kaiser, softly enough not to scare them yet loud enough to be heard. Even though he asked a question he already knew the answer too. They each turned partly around and blink a few times to try drying their tears.

"She needs more time."In great grief, Violet said trying to stay positive, "After that, I'm sure she will adjust."

Kaiser nodded and said as he stood there by his wife and two sisters. "Just let her have space. Cory said she isn't happy about marrying him. She's only been found just a week ago as of today. I'm sure this engagement is a great shock to her. She has a lot to take in right now."

Kimberly gestured to her wise older brother losing herself in deep thoughts. Unlike her second older brother Dominic being only five years apart from her. More times she mostly just fought with Dominic growing up together. In her eyes, Kaiser here was the wiser mature brother. Being well over five hundred years part so Kaiser was raised like an only child.

Long before Dominic and she came into the picture. She remembers, he was well out of their dad's authority and on his own making his name as a King Rank.

During that time and now she and Kaiser had a good relationship together as brother and sister. So Kaiser was always her go-to older brother. She remembered, dad said, Kaiser developed wisdom at a younger age compared to most hybrid-men within his generation. He had high intelligence and maturity, so Kimberly admitted that about him.

However, she reflected on Dominic and she had their normal sibling rival together. Later on, when maturity finally happened she gained a better relationship with Dominic. She loved that Dominic had their mother's caring heart. Which made them very close in their older age. He was a wonderful husband to her bestie Ashley and became an amazing dad like their father.

Lastly, there was Cory, she remembered he was a sweet little boy and grew up to be quite the looker. Always, he was gentle with the girls he grew up with. He was Mr popular and that is still one thing that hasn't changed.

Like Kaiser, Cory was raised like an only child too. She was married to Chris and out of her dad's authority way before Cory was even conceived. In her eyes, Cory was the baby but he grew up well maintained over his feelings.

Although Cory may have been colder with certain family members. He showed his care by his actions compared to a smile. But he most certainly was very close to mom. With her, Cory never denied how dear their mother meant to him.

But Kimberly, remembered he had a rough side with cousins and sometimes friends when it came to fistfights. He was a mischief trouble maker with his friends and correction didn't phase him much, as Kimberly would recall. Dad had a hard time dealing with him.

As she watched him grow, she knew he'd be a remarkable King rank leader one day. Although, she didn't know he'd be the future Primary King to take over the whole Kingdom. She inwardly giggled at that thought. However, the other male relatives knew Cory had the qualities needed to be a Head King.

Overtime Kimberly remembered Cory changed into being a very dangerous hybrid-man. Being Primary King, she knew Cory's darker ruthless side lurking within him. Something she wasn't sure how Sally would take in one day.

To this day, she has a hard time swallowing down what he does. As she tried not to gulp just now from thinking about it. She reckons Cory grew up to be something else from what she thought he'd grow to be...

"Are you ok," Kaiser asked snapping her out of her dazed thoughts.

"I was just thinking about something." Said Kimberly frowning as her mind woke up from her reflection. "Anyways, maybe we shouldn't have taken her away from Cory's side."

Lightly, Kaiser smiled at his younger sister. "I don't feel Sally, wanted to be near him. Reading her body language, I could see she wanted out of his grip and she was nervous. You tried speaking with her that is all any of us can do." Kaiser explained trying to cheer her up.

"I can understand that." Replied Ashley, "She's just got proposed. I'm sure her mind is scattered at the moment."

"Yes, I'm sure it is. All this is likely too much for her to take in right now." Kaiser said with a faint smile. Then he glanced his eyes around the ballroom to notice his parents and many other older generations were saying their goodbyes before leaving.

"I think a lot of us are getting ready to leave here soon." He stated, "I just wanted to check-in and make sure all was okay."

Noddingly, Violet asked her husband, "Did you wanna get going?"

"Yes, exactly I did," He said, "Give me a second and I'll be ready to leave."

Violet replied, "Ok."

Then he walked in the direction of the third-level staircase.
