Chapter 37 - HE LUO

THE UNCONSCIOUS MAN... POV....

My head was killing me. I tried opening my eyes in a futile attempt. I can feel that I am in a moving vehicle. where is the man taking him, that was the first question that came to his mind.

He had thought, he would die in the secluded outskirts of the city. Then, a car appeared in front of him out of nowhere. He flung himself over the car without any care in the world. In his eyes, it was better to take his chances with the car. He considered it better than dying slowly.

He could still recall the opperessive aura of the man in the driving seat. He was unable to open his eyes, hence he didn't see his face but his caution and overbearing aura was enough to tell him that he was not someone you should mess with.

He tried to concentrate on his body. He was shocked to find that his body was much better now than it was before. " So, the man has treated my wounds. I should thank him " He Luo thought and continued " an outsider took care of him, when his own family discarded him like a tissue paper without any care, tch" He Luo instantly felt some pain in his stomach.

He Luo remembered his family that was in city B. He belonged to a good family. They were not very famous or influential but they had enough money to live their lives lavishly. His father was at a high post in a good company and his mother was a beautiful woman at the age of fourty but because of her baby face, she looked like a thirty year old.

They were a perfect family with him, his younger sister and his parents.

He was just a 13 year old boy when one day he came home and saw his father having sex with another woman in their house. He can still recall how things took a turn for worse from there.

He kept quite about the whole incident. He didn't talk about it with anyone because he never wanted their family to split which would happen if his mother get to know about his father cheating on her.

He was under a lot of stress the whole time which resulted in the downfall in his grades and him keeping his distance from his friends and his family. He was just a small boy who was unable to express his bottled up questions and grief.

His father started staying out more and more which caused his mother to get suspicious and she started showing violent tendencies.

He could still remember the scene vividly how her mother splashed boiling water on his sister's face and he came in between to stop the water which resulted in a long burn scar on his back for life.

His mother said that his sister's face looked very much like that of his father which caused her to lose control over her emotions and she splashed the boiling water in the kettle over her face.

She said sorry repeatedly but they both knew that it was a regular thing that time. His mother started consuming alcohol. She would drink to obliviousness and then she would start smashing all the things and then cry herself to sleep.

His mother could guess that her husband was having an affair outside but she could only stay in the house and look after the kids. She started releasing her anger and her hatred on her children.

He was never able to understand why would his father leave her mother who was definitely more beautiful and innocent looking then his mistress.

It took two years for his mother to finally able to face the truth which was that his father had his own family outside and a daughter who was just 3 years younger than him and only one year younger than her younger sister.

His mother took her life in their house when they were in school. When they went home they saw there mother lying in a pool of her own blood with her wrists cut open and red blood oozing out from them.

They called their father to tell him about their mother. His father came as soon as he could. He kneeled in front of his mother's dead body. He weeped and apologised in front of it but she was already dead. His father was very late and he knew it too.

They held a small funeral for their mother and after that he took us to our new home. It would be better to call it a prison because it was only a place where he ate and slept because it never felt like a home to him.

His new mother was the daughter of the CEO of the company where his father was working. They met as employees and soon they became conscious of each other. One thing led to other and they ended up together.

It sounded so sweet but it was a nightmare for him. His father never looked at him, maybe because of guilt but it had negative impact on He Luo as it caused him to isolate himself from others. He became quiet, with no emotions.

He hated every thing and everyone in the world and that was the time when he met his saviour or so he thought...
