Aixela's Pov:
Officer Yzerman and I are sitting here on the bench.
"Do you think what Officer Villaraigosa said is true?" She asked.
I felt a lump in my throat.
"Who do you think she is?" She asked again that made me choked. I just shrugged and shook my head.
"Awwww," She said and covered her face with her palm.
"How could he do that to me? I had a crush on him."
I wrote on the paper and showed it to her. [Maybe he just really felt sorry for the woman.]
"But he's not like that. I mean..." She drooped. "... I thought he would only show his soft spot on me." I caressed her back. "He even gave me yogurt last time. I thought he's already starting to like me too," She frowned.
[Don't think too much, Officer Yzerman. For sure, what happened last night will also be forgotten by everyone. Maybe that's just nothing for him.] I showed her my note.
"But how about to the girl? Do you think she liked that?" She asked while looking at me.
I even blinked before writing my answer to her question. [Maybe he was grateful for what Officer Dy did because, because of that, her fear was alleviated. But if you think she's falling right away or she likes Officer Dy, that's impossible, especially]--
I unconsciously stopped writing. I didn't notice that she was reading what I was writing.
"Especially what?" She asked.
[Especially, that only happened once, and for sure it won't happen again. Besides, they are both strangers to each other so you don't have to worry.] I added it to my note.
"Anyway, you're right. I trust you," She said and looked at me. I smiled at her.
"What are you doing here?" Officer Dy suddenly appeared. "I've been looking for you for a while."
"Follow me," He commanded. I first looked at Officer Yzerman to say goodbye and then followed where Officer Dy was going. Why does he walk so fast?
I just kept chasing him until he entered a room. "Workout room," posted on the side of the door. The surroundings are wide. It's like you're in the gym. It also has some gym equipment on the side and a TV.
[What are we doing here?] I showed him my note. He did not read it but closed the door and locked it. My eyes widened and I recoiled slightly.
He stared at me. "I don't have time to read your notes. We're the only ones here so you can speak for now."
"A-ah... But, why are we here?" I asked.
"Inspector has already found out what happened last night. We are looking for you because he wants to greet you but we couldn't find you," He crossed his arms. "He just took care of something for a while and later he will come back to talk to you. For now, follow my instructions first."
"Huh?" I asked nervously.
"Come closer," He said. What is he up to?
"Will I repeat what I said?" He asked irritably. I nervously walked closer to him. He looked at me and shook his head.
"W-why? What is it?" I asked.
"What will you do if..." He suddenly put his arm around me. My head moved slightly away from him. He grinned before he pushed me away.
"Ah! What's your problem?" I complained.
"No wonder why that almost happened to you last night," He said.
"Huh?"
"Don't you know any self-defense technique? With the size of your body, you should be able to defend yourself," He teased. "When a madman walks up to you, will you just stare at him?"
"O-of course not."
"Really? Then what did you do to me?"
"It's all of a sudden. Besides, you didn't say anything so I was surprised."
He grinned. "Exactly, you're surprised but you didn't even take action? When a criminal approaches you, will he say ask your permission first before he stabs you?"
I suddenly smiled at what he said.
"Why are you laughing? Do you think I'm playing around with you?" He spited.
I bit my lip and shook. "Sorry."
"Stand up straight," He commanded. I did what he said.
"Let's do stances first," He said.
I just follow what he says and imitate what he does. He was so strict. Even if it's just that a wrong positioning hands, he'll be irritated. He's very short-tempered.
"Now, let's move on to the self-defense techniques. What do you think you should've done to me earlier?" He asked.
"Should I... act it?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. Ah, ok. So, I should act.
"Like this?" I pushed him slightly.
"Are you fighting with a kid?" He asked.
"Should I push you harder?" I asked.
"Aish!" I think he's losing his patience with me so I pushed him harder that made him move backward.
"Oh, sorry," I said.
"Are you going to say sorry to a person who's trying to harm you?" He said. "Again!" He walks towards me again. "Aren't you mad at me? Now, take it all out here."
I pushed him away even harder but he still doesn't like it. Does he want me to break his bones Argh! Wait and I'll show you what I can do.
"Again!" He yelled. "Can't you see, I can still come closer to you even if you push me how many times?!"
"Then just tell me what should I do?!" I complained.
"Come here," He said. He placed his arm around me as I walk through him. "Trap my hand tightly with both of your hands."
"Like this?" I asked.
"Then step back with the first stance we did." I kept following his instructions. "Turn underneath my arm to twist my arms as you shift your bow stance."
"Are you sure? You'll get hurt," I asked.
"Just do it," He said. Ok, fine. I did what he said and put so much effort in twisting his arm. He looked at me and I just shrugged.
"Transfer your weight to your base leg then sidekick my knee," He said. "After that, you can now run away. Ok let's try."
We did it again and I just followed what he instructed me with a little bit of effort. Wha ha! I can see him shaking his arms. Poor Anton. So who's weak now?
"Let's try it again," I smiled.
After that, he taught me another move. He said this is when a man is grabbing my hair. Really? Or he's just retaliating.
"Ahh!" I complained. Ok, this is what you want.
"As I grab your hair, trap my hand with your both hands. Step back again with the first stance then turn underneath my arm to twist my arm again. Prepare to run as my hand slips from the grab," He explained.
It's like we're both kids because the more I hurt the twisting of his hand, the harder he pulls on my hair. We continued to practice self-defense techniques and we also just continued to retaliate from each other. I don't even know if we're really practicing or we're just fighting each other.
¬¬¬
"Ok, for the last technique, as I grab your wrist, use the momentum to palm strike my nose then strike my..." He said and looked down to his... Oh my gosh! We both step back from each other. "Ok, I think that is all for today--"
"No, continue what you're saying... I'm listening," I smiled.
"I already gave you nine techniques, those are enough," He said.
"Didn't you save the best for last? I think that move is the strongest move I can give to someone who'll ever try to harm me. What do you think?"
"I think you can do that move without even practicing."
"Oh! Wait wait wait. Officer Dy, seems like you're afraid to get hurt huh? Don't worry, I won't exert too much effort in striking your..." I smiled at him while blinking that made him disgusted.
"Go on, exert all your efforts. Just be sure to strike it so well," He vaunted. We both smirked at each other.
"Ready?" He asked. I gave him a signal to grab my wrist. He forcibly grabbed my wrist then I was going to strike his nose but he avoided it. So I just tried to strike his.... you know.... but he avoided it as well. Arghh! He moved sideward that made me lose my balance because he's still holding on to my wrist. Fortunately, he was able to catch me with his other hand and pulled me towards him. The two of us just looked at each other until someone knocked on the door and we finally got out of that position.
"Officer Dy, Xela, what are you doing here? Why is the door locked and why are you two so sweaty?" Detective Givenchy asked.
"We just practiced some self-defense technique," Officer Dy replied to which I fully agreed with a hard nod.
"Ah, well Inspector has been looking for a while for you, and also Xela. He said he will talk to the both of you in his office," Detective Givenchy said.
"Copy," He said and left. Detective Givenchy staring at me made me realize that I must follow Officer Dy so I walked through him while holding an awkward smile.
