Departure time
I headed out of the History class to the college hallway which could lead me to my locker but still his thoughts kept crawling up in my mind
'Maybe I should stalk him sometimes that would be a quick and effective way of looking into him' ,I thought .I adhered so much to that thought that my mind itself had to force me to shut up and get diverted ....SHUT UP.
I was a foot away from my locker with hands still holding my history books when I heard ...."Heyy!!"came a voice running into my ears .As soon as I turned my head to get a glance of the orator , it hit me and "Ah"escaped from my mouth as we both landed on the either side of my books with a loud thud .....of course it was her , Elisha,my best friend and the craziest person I have ever met .
Rubbing my ankles and wrist I started to collect my books ,up from the hallway floor .
"Oh!Sorry!!I'm really sorry . Forget it ,I have got the best news ever!!", shouted the advent creature...my friend.
What!!!?I am not standing on my legs and you are giving me the "best news ever",thinking this I frowned and got up and placed my bag on my back
"Fuck you",I said ,
"Daniel proposed me be to his girlfriend ",she shouted with happiness clearly on her face.
"Wow!! What? I always knew you guys had the perfect chemistry!" , i said and gave her a very tight hug. "I think you said yes to him but don't loose yourself ,totally!!,I said in a musical rythm.
We started to walk out out the building and reached the walking area .Although Whitby is a small town with small population but the people here are very rich and the immediate proof of this comment is my college parking lot.Ohf!! Each top brand cars are here Audi ...common who drive it to college . Volvo, Honda is parked on my left side with Parker (car's owner )and Mera locking lips in the driving seat. We both strolled ahead , I am a "footpath walker" unlike those rich lads.
"Are you guys going on any serious date " I asked
"Yeah! I'm gonna ask him today"she replied .
"Remember back in high school Mr. Bush refused to give holiday on Whitby Day.....?." Elisha said questioning
" Yeah ! And we pinned a fake holiday notice on the board ....", I snorted .Saying this , " And even the teachers were fooled to such an extent that they also took a day leave" I broke into an unrestrained belly laugh that my ears turned red .I was still laughing uncontrollably until my eyes met his .He was sitting in his Chevrolet Corvette c1 . Watching him staring so deeply with that stupid smirk that laughter suppressed spontaneously to an end . I rolled my eyes here and there, feeling the awkwardness but when my competitive spirit hit a dawn and I had mustered enough guts , i decided to strike back ...looked directly into his eyes .I made my mind that until and unless he was not going to feel defeated by himself ,"I will continue the counter stroke".
My legs forwarded but my head turned side ways , continuing my command ,I continued my action and he did the same ....looked directly at me through the holes in his blue iris , without a motion in his eyeball....I guess he was giving a good competition.
I was absorbed to this moment when suddenly I heard "Ember!! " and light pat on my left shoulder.
" Yeah !Yeah ! Sorry , so tell me what were you telling me ...." and i had to ...turn to her breaking the competitive mutual gaze and oops i lost the competition but anything for a friend .
"Lets do that prank again" , she said in a dull tone , narrowed her eyes and then turned to him.
"Why you both were gazing so intensely ? Are you both secretly dating?", she said in a stretchy and teasing tone .
" No!Of course not ,I don't even know his name " , I replied in a surprised tone.
" Common stop shitting , Jensen Delux is the sexiest guy in the city now ...but not sexier than Daniel", she said after a small pause ,"and each and every girl is crazy about him ,I was also before .....Daniel proposed in the last period ..."and she continued babbling about Jensen being the top sensation of this city and what not so ever .
Now the second thing I know about him is his name -Jensen.....Delux ,wait...Zack (Stella's boyfriend )shares the same surname ,"Are they both brothers or its just a coincidence ?The first thing which I discovered about him is his occupation -"staring" , which he doesn't get paid for.
