Breyson's P.O.V
"What?!" We all exclaimed in shock. "Stuck to each other till the end!" I wondered. Well, it's not like I don't like the idea. I love it! Everything is happening so fast and I'm worried for my heart.
"Thank you." She said. I turned to the other side and got in. We rode the next hours in silence. I didn't know the best way I could ask if she was fine without reminding her of what she's trying to forget.
"You'll be fine." I said in a low voice trying to break the silence.
"I'll, I just need time." She replied.
"Hey, you heard what that old couple said, we are stuck to each other till the end." I joked.
"Haa! Old people can really be funny! I'm sure if we get to ask them tomorrow or even the next minute if we have a chance to, they wouldn't remember anything!" She laughed.
"I was missing that." I said. Looking straight in her eyes.
"Oh, I'm, I..." She shied away and we got silent again.
"Thanks for the dinner and everything." She said After I pulled over outside her house.
"No thank you, for accepting to give me your time. I enjoyed every bit of your company. From the jealousy look you gave that waitress like I was your man, to the old couple's wish. Everything!" I replied.
"You talk about the jealous thing like it was even real, I was only playing along to your game!" She said with a smile.
"Whatever! Something tells me you like me." I teased her. "Gosh! Look how you're blushing! True or False?" I demanded.
"False! That's only in your head! You're so full of yourself! You think you're any woman's dream! Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, not to me." She answered.
"Really now!" I exclaimed. Time will tell.
"Okay so, may I go in now?" She asked.
"Sure! Why not?" I answered.
"Breyson, I think the belt is stuck or something. I don't know. Would you please help me?" She asked. Still fidgeting with the belt.
"Wait, let me see. Where's the button?" I asked. Got closer to check what was wrong with the belt. True what they say, "History repeats itself." Here we are again with her so close, breathing heavily on my lips, gazing at me with those chocolate angelique eyes. Tempting me with her wet luscious lips each time she licks them. Should I just go ahead and kiss her or should I ask her first. I'm certain she feels something for me, even though she denies it all night! However kissing her just like that would be rude.
"May I taste your lips, Belinda?" I asked in a very low tone. I was already burning inside. I couldn't hold myself anymore but for her I tried. I didn't want to take advantage of her vulnerability. I wanted to be sure she wanted to. For us to kiss even when we hardly knew each other.
"Mmhu!" She shook her head in agreement.
"Hey dude! You've parked in the wrong place! What is wrong with you?! Couldn't you wait till you got home?! The young men of these generations! Move it!!" A drunkard man shouted. Banging so hard on my car like he owned it!
"Shit!!! Damnit!!" I cursed. Opened the door with so much effort forcing the man to fall down on the road.
"Are you nuts?" He asked while trying hard to get up. He was dead drunk!
"That's for poking your nose into other people's business. Besides, I should be the one asking you that! You should be thankful I've not decided to kick your sorry ass just yet!" I warned.
"Breyson it's okay, let him be." Said Belinda while patting my shoulder. I had not even realized she was right behind me.
"Get lost! You fool!" I yelled.
"I'll get going." Said Belinda.
"Wait let me walk you to the door, just to make sure you're safe." I pleaded.
"Okay, if you insist." She replied.
"Have a goodnight, see you tomorrow." She said.
"Goodnight too, see you tomorrow." I replied, not sure if I really wanted to leave and go. Apart of me wanted to go but then the other part was yarning to stay a little longer, watch her smile, see her laughing and more.
"Well, see you?!" She said.
"Bye!" I replied. My feet to heavy to be moved even just an inch, making me stumble.
"Ok!" She smiled. Opened the door and got inside leaving me outside staring at the door like a fool.

.......
"Another night thinking about her. This has got to stop before I go crazy." I said while staring at my phone.
"No no no, don't even think about it! That was enough for today." I thought.
Dashing the thought away at the same time.
"Suddenly I remembered the day we first met." How she hit me with her bag.
"You've got some nerves!" I recalled.
That wasn't love at first sight, I don't even believe in that crap. I didn't even realize we would..., would ever sit on the same table without arguing! And now here iam, missing her already. It seems like we parted years ago.
After changing into something more comfortable, I tucked myself in. Stared at the ceiling. Picked up my phone and contemplated on whether to call her or not.
"I should just let her rest." I said. Turned to my right. Take it slow my heart it's been just a month since the break up. Going into another relationship now wouldn't do you any good. Take it slow please?" I pleaded with my heart.
I closed my eyes, trying to get some sleep and all I see is her. "Looks like sleeping wasn't a good idea" I said quietly to myself. Got up from the bed and went to get water from the fridge down in the living room. Took a sip soon as I got hold of the bottle and thought of what to do.
"Hey sis did I wake you up?" I asked.
"Of course you did! silly!" She complained. "What is it?" She asked haggardly.
"Sorry!" I apologized. I couldn't find any sleep.
"What could be the cause this time? I thought you and Merly broke up!" She asked.
"Come-on sis, Merly is old news, I'm trying to get over it but you, you're not making it any easier for me! Please!" I answered.
"Listen, I'm sorry okay, I was only trying to help! I mean, I don't have super natural powers to detect what took away your sleep!" She replied.
"I can't get her off my mind!" I yelled through the phone.
"Try harder, I know Merly was everything for you but to tell you honestly, I never liked her one bit. Neither mum nor dad! We only supported you just because according to you, she made you happy! I'm certain you will get over it. Just try harder." She pleaded with lot of care and concern.
"I didn't know about that! So if Merly was on a death mission I would be dead by now simply because you guys gave me away just like that." I said while sitting on the couch.
"Anyway I wasn't talking about Merly, yes I loved her dearly and I would be lying if I said I'm over her but there's someone new. I'm afraid I'm falling for her but at the same time I can't get rid of Merly's memories. I'm puzzled!
I want to tell her so bad about how I feel for her but I'm scared of not fulfilling my obligations to her. However, the feeling I get when I'm around her and even without her is so unexplainable that I'm not ready to let her go or give it up. I'm confused!" I groaned.
"Brey, listen bro, just take it easy. Don't force anything. Let everything happen naturally. You're not even sure if she feels the same about you! So relax! You're over working yourself for nothing! Give it time. That's my only advise. Who is she anyway?!" She asked.
"Belinda Parkers!" I answered.
"Oh! Okay! We will talk more some other time when you take me out that's if you're really interested in my opinion. Can I sleep now? That's not even a question or a request. It's a demand! Goodnight!" She said and hanged up the phone.
I grabbed my bottle and went back to my room hoping to get some sleep this time around.
