Breyson's POV
"What now? You're now my dad?" I chuckled. Brandon was more than serious about each and every word he uttered.
"Quit teasing me dad, I'm serious." Brandon insisted, moved closer to me.
"Dad, are things that bad?" He asked, his little hand holding mine.
"No son, I want you to stop building ideas in your head. Your mother and I are perfectly fine. We are doing well. Stop worrying yourself." I insisted but deep down I knew he was way too bright to buy my silly lie. However I needed to take my chances on it.
Brandon turned away his gaze and looked down.
"Has he bought the lie?!" I thought.
He lifted his face and looked straight into my eyes.
"I know more than you think." He uttered, my eyes opening wide. I tried composing myself, trying hard not to show him that I was actually hit by his words.
"What do you know kid?" I demanded.
"You probably have been spending much time on media than you should." I added.
