Han Yexi closed the door behind her. She scooped up all the air and breathed a sigh of relief. The experience just now was like a suicide attempt. Han Yexi wasn't sure if she could throw herself again at Choi Jiho to distract herself from Fang Muxiu.
This damn plan is bound to come to a dead end.
Han Yexi picked up her cell phone, glancing at the foreign number that appeared on the screen. It was the number that last called her. Obviously, that number wasn't Fang Muxiu's number. Han Yexi pretended the call was from Fang Muxi to get her out of Choi Jiho's snare.
But whose number is it?
When Han Yexi remembered it again, there was a male voice speaking. Too bad, Han Yexi didn't even remember what the man was trying to say on the phone. Besides, who was the man calling her so late?

After receiving Han Yexi's phone number from Choi Jiho, Liu Ran made up his mind and decided to try calling the number tonight.
The call came in and immediately dialed, "Good evening, is this Miss Han's number?"
"Hello, Miss Fang." That answer was met with Han Yexi's soft voice that Liu Ran recognized.
But why was Fang Muxiu's name what she said?
"Sorry miss, I'm sure my voice doesn't sound like Miss Fang." Liu Ran clarified his deep voice which should have sounded masculine.
But this was Han Yexi's answer on the other end of the phone. "Yes, miss, I'm home."
"What is wrong with you?" Liu Ran was confused at every answer given by Han Yexi? What's going on with that woman? Does he have hearing problems?
Some of the other exchanges are also off the mark. It was as if Han Yexi was talking to Fang Muxiu on the phone, not Liu Ran.
"Are you still with Choi Jiho?" Liu Ran had this suspicion. Could it be that Choi Jiho's presence had contributed to this strange miscommunication?
"Yes," Liu Ran suddenly spasmed at Han Yexi's words which this time sounded like the real answer. Before the woman continued, "I'll email a copy of it tonight."
Unfortunately, it may still be some bizarre hoax or miscommunication. Liu Ran became even more doubtful and confused. Then the call was hung up by Han Yexi.
So that was the real telephone conversation. From that night things started going in the wrong direction.

"Xiao Ye, what's wrong with your head?"
Fang Muxiu looked so worried when he saw the plaster on Han Yexi's temple this morning.
The woman was fine yesterday. Something must have happened. Could it be Choi Jiho's cause? Fang Muxiu remembered leaving Han Yexi at the Sky Restaurant so that the woman could try to get close to Choi Jiho.
Fang Muxiu honestly wanted to know the extent of Han Yexi's performance results. She didn't expect the result would make Han Yexi hurt like that.
"Did Choi Jiho hurt you?" sounded like a cautious and thoughtful question, but this was Fang Muxiu's hope.
How could a woman like Han Yexi survive against Choi Jiho? Maybe Han Yexi should be even more battered.
"No, it's not Mr. Choi's fault, we almost got into an accident last night."
"Accident?" Fang Muxiu stiffened, is Choi Jiho okay? After all, Fang Muxiu's head was still filled with Choi Jiho. No wonder he's worried.
"Yes, but it was close, we were very lucky. I heard that the accident ended up taking someone's life."
Han Yexi saw the news broadcast on this morning's broadcast. Three cars were destroyed in the accident. It was reported that one person was killed and seven others were injured. Luckily he wasn't one of them.
"Thank God," Fang Muxiu was relieved to hear that. "So you really managed to get Choi Jiho to take you home?" Fang Muxiu returned to the point.
This is an important point, something she wants to know. Too bad, Fang Muxi thought Choi Jiho would abandon Han Yexi, or worst of all it was the man who hurt Han Yexi.
"Yes, he was just planning to give me a ride to midtown. But after we nearly got his accident, he changed his mind."
Han Yexi explained half the process. There are some passages that she doesn't mention for one or two reasons. Especially when Choi Jiho almost choked her tonight. Han Yexi had already promised the man that she would keep her mouth shut to Fang Muxiu.
Hm, so it's just a little bit of Choi Jiho's guilt to be around. Somehow this news dampened something in Fang Muxiu's heart. She wanted to laugh at herself for underestimating Choi Jiho.
Fang Muxiu knows Choi Jiho well. Even though Han Yexi was her assistant, he would likely refuse Han Yexi to get into his car. Han Yexi couldn't possibly have succeeded at her chance. He was just lucky enough that Choi Jiho gave him a ride to get to midtown. After that accident made Choi Jiho lose and finally drove Han Yexi home.
"Then we will continue this plan. So do your best!"
Han Yexi just nodded once in response. Her lips certainly will not speak a word of approval. If it weren't for the matter of embezzling the five million yuan in funds, Han Yexi would never have agreed to this crazy thing.
Han Yexi surrendered to the creator. If she continued this plan, one day she might die at the hands of Choi Jiho. Hopefully, Lady Luck will continue to accompany her.
