Chapter 18 - Volume 1 - Chapter 18: Molonian Battle Arena

Lᴏᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: 𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘢, 𝘈𝘣𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘕𝘢𝘨𝘢

Tɪᴍᴇ: 4:19𝘱𝘮

After the failure of Skyler's rescue team, the mechanical werewolves were sent back to the Coalition Headquarters using one of Sakura's clones.

By that time, Neko and Ryujin had already gone out of one of the portals. A crack in the sky formed in the skies in which Neko's aircraft and his companion came streaking off.

The sun shone so brightly in front of them that Neko couldn't see clearly. Neko gave a little tap to his helmet which broke and reformed itself but this time it covered his whole face. His mouth and nose were covered with a orinasal mask and his eyes with frameless sunglasses connected to his helmet and the mask. His face was perfectly concealed.

When they were both above the clouds, the jet broke apart and instantly became a large helicopter. Namely a Sikorsky CH-53K King Stallion(USA) which remained airborne above the clouds.

Neko: "Ryujin, get in."

As Neko commanded, Ryujin got in from the hatch Neko had opened the moment the aerial vehicle was constructed.

Neko: "[𝘉𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘶𝘱]"

He summoned two american soldiers and made them pilot the helicopter as he moved away from the seat. He didn't intend to use them as the pilots but rather as observers as his God Artifact was the helicopter they were in, he knew it would automatically pilot itself.

Neko sat cross legged on the metal floor and sighed. Ryujin looked at him while frowning and sat down opposite him, also cross legged. Neko made three deep breathes and started to speak.

Neko: "Okay, Ryujin. Our plan is to form an allegiance to Molonia or any country that are against Sarcia. I'm warning you again, don't suddenly attack people, alright?"

Ryujin: "Copy."

Neko felt a little uncomfortable when Ryujin said copy, he thought for a second Ryujin copied his abilities like how Skyler would but he doesn't really have that kind of power so he let it be.

Neko: "Do you think theres a way for us to meet the royal family without being thought of as enemies instead?"

Ryujin nodded at his question with a confident expression. And spoke with his left hand's fist clenched to the level of his chin.

Ryujin: "We kill a pervert and present it to them so they'll think we're good people.

Neko gave off a stressed aura as he lowered his head and sighed.

Neko: "Yeah. We kill some random dude, show up in their doorsteps and show the body to the royal family. WE WON'T!"

Ryujin scratched his head with a finger in a confused expression, wondering what's wrong with what he said. The helicopter sounded from outside and Neko stood up to look at the splendid capital from the pilot's seat.

Neko: "I'm going to think up a plan. So wait for a bit."

He sat once again opposite Ryujin while holding his chin.

Neko: (We can't just suddenly show up in town, we don't have money and we would be asked why we're wearing these clothes that are very weird in this world's commonsense. Should I ask the village chief to procure me a disguise...)

It took him a few minutes to decide if he really should do such a thing.

In addition to having his helmet changed, a radio was also added from within along with some other tools like night-vision and heat-vision goggles. There were also three, black, small buttons the size of rice grains on the upper right side of the helmet. In the center was a circular button and above and below it were arrows pointing down and up.

He pressed a barely visible circular button on the upper right side of his helmet where his ears should be and a few words in green light appeared in the screen of Neko's sunglasses.

The first letters that popped up were "On/Off". Neko pressed yet another button above the first button and the "On/Off" scrambled to "Ishigami Yu". He pressed the button about seven times in quick successions and it now said "Village Chief". He pressed the circular button again and it shown "Dialing...".

After what seemed like half an hour of waiting, he finally saw that the words scrambled to form "In Call".

Neko: "Hello."

Chief: "I-It spoke!"

The village chief's voice was so loud that Neko thought his eardrums just suddenly bursted with how close the speaker was to his ears.

Neko quickly adjusted the radio's volume so that it won't happen again.

Chief: "Neko-sama? Is that you?"

Neko: "Yeah it's me."

Chief: "Amazing, how can you put yourself in such a small box..."

Neko: "Eh? Um, more importantly, can I ask you a favor?"

Chief: "What might it be, Neko-sama?"

Neko: "I need two sets of clothes."

Chief: "What type of clothes?"

Neko: "Anything. Two pairs for me and my boy companion. Please let one of the drones we left there to deliver it to me."

Chief: "R-Right away."

Neko ended the call by pressing the circular button again and looked at Ryujin's direction. The Okamura was gone.

Neko: "What the? Where did he go?"

Suddenly, Neko felt like there was something that passed by outside just now. It darkened momentarily as a colossal silhouette rushed by. The helicopter shook and almost turned upside down, forcing Neko to grow his claws and use them to stick with the floor.

It came again, like last time the helicopter almost shook him off his feet.

"Neko-sama, Ryujin opened the hatch and turned into a dragon all of a sudden."

Is what one of Neko's soldier said. Neko immediately opened the hatch and shouted. He was not afraid to be heard by the molonian people in such heights.

Neko: "Oi! What are you doing?!"

The huge dragon stopped in it's tracks and looked at Neko. It was fifty times bigger than the helicopter and had golden red scales. It had several golden horns in it's body like two sharp ones in the head and four on each shoulder that looked like a reindeer's antler. Then it spoke in a dignified voice.

Ryujin: "Since you were busy and I had nothing to do, I thought of why not getting used to my transformations."

Neko thought for a while and thought it would be better that he got used to it than not. He may go out of control with his power if he can't even control it.

Neko: "You make a point."

The dragon shrank back into a scaly looking Ryujin and glided back to the flying helicopter that Neko created.

Neko: "Oh it's here."

Shortly after the trouble, a drone with four rotor blades lifting it appeared along with a brown silk parcel. Neko let the drone in and it automatically released the parcel with it's claw, making the package fall on the floor. The drone had just got out when Ryujin's scales had completely gone and Neko started opening the parcel.

Inside it were two pairs of casual clothes the townspeople wear. He gave the one set of clothes to Ryujin.

Neko: "We're going to be disguised as ordinary citizens and gain information on how to go to the castle and gain an audience with the king, queen or whoever is in charge."

Ryujin nodded as confirmation. Once again, Neko used [𝘞𝘦𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳] and turned his clothes including his helmet into two knuckles. Leaving him only wearing his boxers. Neko was a beastman; he looked human apart from his cat ears and tail which were both covered in his brown hair.

Both of them had finished wearing their new clothes. Ryujin was wearing a leather belt, a red t-shirt and brown leggings while Neko wore an identical leather belt, a dark green t-shirt and dirty-white leggings. Neko equipped his infringer blade behind his back with a bear-skin leather strap that held it's scabbard.

They were both ready to go. Neko jumped off the helicopter first and started to fall with Ryujin closely behind him. They were sixty-six thousand feet above the ground, they aimed straight at the walls but noticed something that had both their eyes opened.

The walls were guarded, above the walls were atleast more than a hundred knights stationed to protect the capital.

Neko waved at Ryujin, he seemed to have noticed the problem too and they both drank a flask of water- or is it...

The next second, both of their images disappeared. For both of them, they could still see their body which was convenient though they still couldn't see each other. They finally reached 2,500 feet above the ground, Neko pulled an attached cord to his parachute and it opened. Neko landed smoothly on the ground and hastily buried the parachute in the sand while Ryujin on the other hand, used his parachute too late and landed on his buttocks. He didn't die due to his defence stat and as he couldn't anyway even if he wanted to.

Neko looked up at the helicopter and made his soldiers disperse back to mana. Then the helicopter started to deform and change back into a pistol which came flying towards Neko's hand. Neko caught [𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘗𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘭] and holstered it behind his back.

Taking advantage of Ishigami's potion; the [𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘗𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯]'s time limit. They both crossed the inspection line with unseen to go straight inside.

Within the wall was a prosperous city. The moment they entered the gates, the first ones that came to view were many stalls lined with many fantastic and magical things, from food and accessories to extravagant enchanted weapons. Neko and Ryujin's invisibility wore off just a few moments after they entered town.

They walked the path leading forward to the castle, but it was many miles away from them so Neko started to obtain information from their current location and approached a magic crystal seller.

Neko: "Excuse me, but can I ask where we can earn money in this town? We're from a distant village and we heard we can earn plenty here."

The shopkeeper looked a little annoyed and snorted as a reply, he must be upset that Neko didn't seem like he was going to buy something.

Shopkeeper: "Theres a battle arena where you can earn money. Ofcourse you gotta' bet some money of yours first. Go straight ahead and go around the castle. Aterwards go left and straight ahead you'll see a large building like a dome."

He didn't seem like he liked them. But he still spoke either way, so he doesn't seem that bad afterall.

Neko: "I-I see, thank you very much!"

Neko bowed to the shopkeeper and Ryujin did the same after he saw him doing it.

They continued to walk in the streets that was filled with supernatural things like children inside a large bubble and a few people dressed in armor and clothes that players would wear in MMORPG games. Both of them couldn't help but watch a woman who was bathing her wyvern which shook it's head and sprayed cleaning water everywhere.

After more than an hour of walking, they went around the sand stone castle and to the left pathway just as the shopkeeper instructed them. The guards didn't seem to recognize Neko as his face was far away that time, he was glad he didn't confront them.

They arrived at what looked like a gigantic dome that was slightly smaller and alot more shorter than the castle they have just passed through minutes ago. There were four knights assigned as guards at the entrance and a few tough looking guys were in a single line near an iron door. The ordinary citizens on the other hand went to another entrance but this one was big enough for Neko's helicopter to fly through.

Ryujin: "What should we do? Do we have money to bet?"

Neko: "About that, I'm going to try something."

Neko approached one of the guards and talked to him, the guard afterwards observed Neko's well toned muscles and gave him a thumbs up. Neko returned shortly after to Ryujin.

Neko: "We can enter without money."

Ryujin: "Wait really?"

Ryujin didn't expect anything good will come of it since it was too good to be true.

Neko: "That's right, but in exchange we'll be put in a deathmatch against other fighters of this arena. If we win, some of the audience's entrance fee will go to us as rewards."

Ryujin: "But it's still dangerous, you might die."

Neko: "Yeah, I know. But how about you just revive me with Ishigami's revive potion if I do? You should make it in time though. I heard Ishigami mention he can't revive those that are an hour dead. Sir Hiiro thought it was a little overpowered I guess."

They both walked to the registration line and joined the group of their possible opponents.

The guards asked a few questions before they entered. Neko noticed each individual was being given a piece of paper. They waited for atleast forty minutes in line when a random hulk-like person tried to cut in line between the two.

Stranger: "Oi let me in won't you?"

Neko: "Why don't you just go wait properly in line? We all are."

Stranger: "It's so hot so I don't want to wait."

Neko: "Deal with it."

The stranger didn't seem too pleased with the response and grabbed Neko's shoulder. A few moments later, the guy squeaked like a mouse.

Neko was emitting his aura, the aura from a powerful person was something to be reckoned with in this world as it causes fear. The other people were also frightened and Neko became the center of attention.

Stranger: "Okay I got it! I'll wait in line!"

Neko calmed down again and his aura dispersed in the air as the line cutter went to the edge of the line.

Finally, it was their turn to register as competitives.

Arena Guard: "Please state your name, age and address and what type of battle settings you'd like."

Neko: "Neko Yamamoto. Age 27 years old. Address, Kittenia. And... Death battle?"

The guard frowned at him but listed it in his paper anyway. He gave the piece of parchment to Neko who strutted off to the waiting room.

Arena Guard: "Next."

Ryujin: "Ryujin Iino Okamura. Age 300 years old. Address, Okamura Household. Also Death battle."

As the guard was writing his name, he noticed something peculiar as he was about to write the age in the piece of parchment and observed Ryujin with his frowning eyes.

Arena Guard: "Three centuries? You're not an elf are you?"

The guard took a closer look at Ryujin, he noticed the Okamura insignia then touched his hair and looked closely at his eyes.

Arena Guard: "This is... A dragonkin?"

There was an uproar outside as many people scrambled the line to take a closer look at Ryujin. Even the people who wasn't planning to fight pushed each other to take a look. Neko who didn't want much attention as possible slapped his face as Ryujin ruined that plan.

"Woah seriously? This is the first time I'm seeing a dragonkin."

"Did you come from Yagnen the dragon country? I heard the dragon gods were still alive, is that true?"

"Why did you come to Molonia?"

Ryujin who knew nothing of what to say tried to push his way through the crowd and received the registration parchment from the guard to join Neko in the lobby who was now sitting on a waiting room seat beside a panda beastman. Ryujin sat next to Neko from his right side, some people looked at them in interest and gossipped.

There was a blaring man's voice outside that resonated across the waiting room. Neko wanted to watch the first fights but they were told that they weren't allowed to see the other contestants' battle styles until it's their turn.

Every thirty minutes, a man in a classic blue suit and a red bowtie would come in the lobby and call out two people. The commentary was also very interesting as it depicted the battles going on outside without spilling any beans. Everyone listened intently in the room. Then finally after two hours...

Employee: "Jargo Flickwood and Ryujin Iino Okamura."

Ryujin stood up along with a skinny looking man with long black hair and eyes in his twenties, he carried an extremely long iron sword that was longer than his body.

The first thing that came into his view was a large open field where no grass grew but dry soil. With seats held high up from the ground so the spectators would be safe. In the ground there were some signs of intense fights with blood spilled on the floor.

Commentator: "The next round will be fought by Jargo Flitwick! Having a nine win streak so far! Will this new contestant finally be able to defeat him?"

There was a round of applause and the booming of cheers as Jargo came walking out of the lobby into the stage. His face showing great confidence.

Commentator: "And his opponent is a new contestant! Having no wins nor losses so far, it seems this is his first time in the Molonian Battle Arena too! A round of applause for Ryujin Iino Okamura!"

Only half the populace clapped and cheered as Ryujin came into the ring, that was only natural as he was not really familiar to them.

They both walked thirty meters away from him until there was a suitable distance gap for the start of battle.

Commentary: "Let the deathmatch... Begin!!"

However, there wasn't a fight yet. Instead of fighting, Jargon decided to introduce himself properly first.

Jargon: "The name's Jargon Flitwick. I'm a famous fighter here, nice meeting you kid. Mind if I know your name? Can't start death matches without knowing people's names, can we?"

Ryujin: "Ryujin Iino Okamura, son of Azathoth and Miko Iino. The fourth child of the Okamura Household."

There was silence after everyone heard him proclaim he's the son of the world's mainly worshipped god.

An uproar began. There were some who laughed at him and some shouted of blasphemy in the audience.

Jargon: "Good enough I guess. You steered up quite a ruckus. Entertain me please, son of Azathoth. Start!"

Both parties rushed at each other, Ryujin adjusted to become the same speed as his opponent for a longer fight. Jargon jumped and raised his longsword to bring it downwards towards Ryujin, his sword glowed blue as he was aiming to slice him in half. The ground shook and was torn apart by the impact of Jargon's fearsome attack.

Commentary: "Ooohh! They've started fighting with a quick exchange of attacks! Such force! As expected of the nine killstreak Jargon Flitwick!"

The crowds stopped their mockery and watched intently at the clash of the two as many cheered in entertainment.

On that very moment when the blade was about to cut Ryujin, a metallic sound resonated intensely. Ryujin's right hand has changed into a dragon's claw with red and gold scales that was continuously parrying the long blade.

Jargon stepped back while rotating his body once, which sent the tip of his sword's blade to attack Ryujin which he again parried with his claws.

Ryujin dashed after Jargon.

Jargon: "[𝘍𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘵]!"

Flames wrapped Jargon's left hand which he pointed at Ryujin's direction like a gun.

There was a loud crackling noise as an outburst of flames kept hitting Ryujin. Noone saw what was happening within the flames.

A scaly hand suddenly grabbed Jargon's throat and threw him at the walls right below some spectator's seats with enough force to make him break concrete by impact which became reality shortafter.

Jargon: "Ugh..."

After being thrown to the wall, he quickly got up in his feet and got out of the crack the impact caused.

He seems like he's going to get a little more serious this time.

Jargon: "[𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳]!"

A red aura enveloped Jargon's whole body. It continued to increase it's intensity causing some people to watch more excitingly as a strong sense of fear flooded the area. Later, his eyes also turned a bright red in the process.

He kicked the ground and leaped the distance in an instant as a gust of wind followed his movements. He swung at Ryujin with his long sword but Ryujin blocked it with his claws, the collision caused some dirt behind Ryujin to fly backwards.

Ryujin: "Your physical stats increased by three times?"

He kicked the ground and backflipped away from Ryujin, landing on two feet smoothly.

Jargon: "So you've noticed."

Ryujin turned his left hand into a dragon claw as well. Now he had a pair of claws to use as his weapons.

Assuming that his enemy will now take him seriously, Jargon made the first move and they both kicked the ground to leap the distance. Sparks suddenly scattered everywhere as they continued to exchange fearsome and terrifying attacks at high speeds.

The crowds were in awe and were definitely entertained by the battle unfolding before their eyes.

When Ryujin saw an opening, he attempted to dig through Jargon's chest with his free hand but Jargon blocked it by turning his iron sword to face the nails.

Ryujin: "...[𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘸]"

Jargon: "!?"

Ryujin's dragon claws which were previously his hands looked like it was heating up and overheating like metal being smithed. It was making the sword that caught his attack deform from it's unbearable heat.

As his grip was too tight, the berserker state Jargon broke his long sword into two pieces with how fragile it became after being overheated. His sword was cut in half.

There was a large explosion that came from Ryujin's draconic claws where the sword's upper half was held. The blade was reduced to nothing.

Commentator: "Jargon Flitwick's sword has been destroyed! What can he do now without his only weapon?!"

Jargon: "I already lost..."

Because of the recent explosion caused by Ryujin's skill. All of Jargon's clothes were burned to ashes. Seeing this, Ryujin's face distorted in disgust.

Ryujin: "...Perverts."

Ryujin: ([𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘥]!)

There was a loud cracking sound, as Ryujin's aura continuously poured out. Leaving everyone in the vicinity at a frightened state, some weak audiences even lost consciousness and Jargon seemed to have wet his pants as he stared trembling in the presence of this monsterous creature. His heart was having a hard time beating.

Commentator: "Wh-What's this?! Something is happening to Ryujin Iino Okamura!"

Jargon was now standing in front of a huge robust figure standing nine feet tall to where Ryujin was. It looked like a dragon shaped into a human, it had red and golden scales, a golden horn the shape of a dagger above it's nose, a long tail with it's edge shaped like a halberd and it's eyes were shining blue. It's jaws opened slightly as a great amount of steam was released.

Jargon looked like a child compared to this draconic creature. Looking up at the dragonoid, he shouted with all his might.

Jargon: "I GIVE UP! I DON'T WANT TO DIE YET! I'M STILL A VIRGIN!"

Even after this short duel, the audience clapped and cheered in satisfaction as Ryujin won by making his opponent give up. He was glad he didn't need to dirty his hands in this fight just to earn money.

Commentator: "Jargon Flitwick has surrendered! Ryujin Iino Okamura has won!"

Ryujin raised his fists and the stadium echoed in applause and cheers. The mockery changed to liking as quickly as he came.

Ryujin was asked by one of the guards to spectate with the crowd after their battle and at the same time was handed a bag of silver and bronze coins. He sat next to a girl and Jargon sat beside him. The fear inducing effect of his aura on Jargon seem to have vanished as he raised his hand to shake Ryujin's right hand which he accepted with some seconds of hesitation.

Jargon: "You're pretty strong. I was so confident there, didn't expect I'd go against a dragonkin."

Ryujin: "Oh, thank you. You're quite strong too."

The commentator started speaking in his blaring voice again.

Commentator: "Well folks! The battle ended faster than anticipated but it was enjoyable! We're now off to our next contestants! Show yourselves, Ellsworth Eugenie and Neko Yamamoto!"

Two figures, walked to the battlefield and took a distance of thirty meters apart from each other.

Neko unsheated his [𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳] sword from his back and held it with two hands. Ellsworth looked at him in a cautious manner.

Commentator: "You two can introduce yourselves to each other before you fight!"

Neko cleared his throat and decided to speak first.

Neko: "I am Neko Yamamoto, the leader of the Coalition Forces and the person who will one day bring this country peace!"

"Who is that guy?"

"Never heard of him."

"What's Coalition? Is that a small group of people?"

There were some muttering after Neko's speech.

Ellsworth: "Ellsworth Eugenie, a general knight of Arkheist. I came here for my short vacation."

"So he's a foreigner?"

"So handsome!"

"He looks like an angel!"

There was an obvious difference on people's opinions of the two. Neko wore casual villager clothes and had one sword behind his back. Ellsworth on the other hand wore platinum armor, his weapon was a platinum sword and had a well built physique that noone can call fat nor skinny. He also had long blonde hair tied in a ponytail and his eyes shone bright like the blue moon in the night sky.

Nevertheless, the battle started.

Neko unsheathed the sword behind his back, during this time he shouldn't use a gun in this world in front of so many people watching as it would obviously bring trouble to him. Like people wanting more power for example and that he would become a target of many greedy officials.

Both of the two held their swords. Neko pulled out his [𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳] sword which was created by a blacksmith Granted. Neko hid his [𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘗𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘭] in his holster wrapped tight around his waist.

His opponent gave a calm smile.

Ellsworth: "Shall we start?"

Neko kicked the ground and leaped the distance. He swung his sword at Ellsworth. The knight avoided it by moving back. The moment he landed on the ground...

Neko: "Gotcha."

Neko was already behind him before his feet even so much as touched the ground. He assaulted Ellsworth with a frontal kick which sent him flying after it hit his abdomen.

Ellsworth: "Ugh!"

Neko: "You're pretty slow, I'm not even using [𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬] yet."

Before Ellsworth realized it, he got kicked once again but this time from his back which pushed him upwards. He was in intense pain, but he still anticipated that Neko was about to charge right at him.

Ellsworth: "[𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘭]!"

As he expected, Neko was flying right at him. Ellsworth's body rotated at high speeds, making him look like a small tornado which helped to somehow make Neko stay away as he let himself fall and land on the ground.

Ellsworth: (This guy... He's alot stronger than the last contestants..!")

His calculations were correct. Neko's speed and strength was faster than what Ryujin and Jargon displayed in the previous match.

The audience was watching intently at the one sided fight.

Ellsworth stopped spinning, not really feeling any dizziness from his skill.

Ellsworth: "[𝘍𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘥𝘳𝘢]!"

He conjured ten crescent shaped water blades that shot at Neko like boomerangs. He tried to avoid each of them but received a shallow cut in his wrist as if it were a knife. The one waterblade disappeared and the rest came chasing him.

Neko: "What the? It's following me?"

Neko avoided them again by jumping upwards and they disappeared the moment they missed.

Neko: "It has limits."

Ellsworth: "[𝘍𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘓𝘢𝘺𝘶𝘴]!"

Neko felt something bad with his [𝘉𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯] before Ellsworth casted his next spell and used his sword to block as a laserbeam the size of a pea hit the blade's side. It might have been too late if it didn't warn him in that exact time.

Ellsworth: "That was my strongest spell..."

Ellsworth: "No choice then. [𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴]!"

He rushed at Neko while holding his sword which started to glow white with only his right hand and attacked repeatedly at a tremendous speed that created afterimages. Neko did his best to defend, both their auras suddenly leaked out and later Neko's red aura and Ellsworth's yellow aura were colliding with each other as if pushing each one back. Neko started a counter attack and did the same thing Ellsworth was doing by repeatedly attacking with his sword.

Ellsworth: "What?! You can do [𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘚𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨] too!?"

Neko: "Is that even a skill? I just see it as swinging your sword at hyper speed. Which I can also do."

They were both at equal speed. Ellsworth was only able to keep up with Neko's speed with his skill and Neko wasn't using any skill to win yet.

Then after a few hundred exchange of attacks, Neko pulled back and changed the [𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳] into a scythe then used it's blade to stab Ellsworth from behind by pulling the weapon. Ellsworth's sword was sent flying after suddenly hitting the [𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳] scythe's hilt after Neko transformed it.

The knight dramatically fell on the floor after he passed out from the shock of thinking he died. His mouth foaming and eyes rolled.

Ellsworth: "I-I give up..."

Commentator: "Woah! What kind of weapon is that?! His sword suddenly became a scythe!"

The scythe Neko was holding turned back into a sword which he spun and sheathed. The audience were amazed from his performance surely as they were praising his awe inspiring battle style.

Commentator: "The winner is Neko Yamamoto!"

After being done and Ellsworth was sent to the medics, Neko rejoined with Ryujin who was already at the exit after receiving his reward.
