"Please excuse me" Taylor said as he looked at his ringing phone. "Hello sir" he answered. He paused as he listened to the person on the other side of the line. "Yes, she's fine. No, no wait. She must get settled in first and get comfortable around here. Her mother also sent a bodyguard to accompany her. Please just wait a little longer. I will bring her to you in two days' time" he replied again. He paused again and went pale as he listened to the person on the other side of the line. "I promise I will keep my word, sir. Please trust me. I know you have no reason to, but I will keep up my end of the bargain." Pause. "Yes sir. It's not much longer now. Just hang in there" Pause. "I trust that you will take good care of her, sir. I know I haven't been a father to her, but she's all I have left" and with that the call ended. Taylor exited his room and glanced down the corridors to check if no one listened in on his conversation. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw no one and plastered a smile on his face as he made his way to the living room.
