Solaria was a small planet in a solar system surrounded by tiny colorful glistening stars. Humans lived amongst each other sharing joyful memories and peace across the lands.
There were no laws or government to establish rules because everyone lived as one. The children played around in the tall grasslands with innocent smiles and contagious laughter.
A place many called home would soon turn into a battlefield. Fallen angels from hell discovered the peace, and infiltrated the lands with hatred, wrath and agony. The beautiful cyan skies darkened with annihilation and the smell of death.
The angels descended down from the heavens to battle the fallen angels at the pleads of the humans. However, the lands were only painted with more blood and countless dead bodies.
The angels succeeded in saving what remained of the once sacred land, and blessed the humans with the gift of aura.
Aura is a natural energy that flows in the air that is essential for human existence. The angels allowed humans to manipulate aura to protect themselves from ferocious foes.
They took advantage of this essence and learned new abilities that they could control to protect themselves from future conflict.
This started a new period of time called "Angel Conscious" where the angels would watch humans evolve from the solarian heavens.
…
The humans split into five different clans: Hashimoto, Nagamatsu, Centrae, Fulgur, & Windhelm. All clans in the year 1000 A.C (angel conscious) all lived in peace and harmony together in the Frozen Forest, an aftermath of the war with brutal cold winters all year long.
Ice king Jairo ruled over the five clans enforcing his rules in his belief of peace. This soon became the first district declared, creating tensions amongst the clans.
The Nagamatsu Clan wanted to get more power and became more of an established clan throughout the year.
The Nagamatsu Clan then went to the Hashimoto Clan because of their brutality, savagery, and immense power in order to take down the Centrae Clan. So, they selected King Uno as their leader to converse with the leader of the Hashimoto clan, Nick.
King Uno met with Nick Hashimoto and formed an alliance to take down king Jairo. However, Jairo knew of their intentions and banished them from the frozen forest.
…
Nagamatsus and Hashimotos left the frozen forest together and created the Uro Empire, which became the second district in the world.
Meanwhile, half of the Centrae clan left the frozen forest to establish the Jilav Alliance and became the third district in the world.

Nick was my father and he told me this story before I went to bed as a child. I haven't seen him in years now, but there isn't a day where I don't think about him.
"Wake up Mordecai!" A boy yelled in my direction. I was laying down in the grass under the shade of a purple tree avoiding the red star in the sky. I turned over and looked at my friend who approached me with a smile.
"Damn Jackson, I was trying to catch some rest." I replied as I smiled back. Jackson was a tall, thin built teenager with short blonde hair and ivory skin.
He wore a black sleeveless hoodie to show off his toned muscles with olive green cargo pants. His gentle dark purple eyes smiled as he offered his hand and helped me up.
…
"My bad bro. Your mom asked me to look for you, and said it was important." He explained as he smacked the dirt off me and pulled out a small mirror.
"The hell does she want?" I asked as I took the mirror and looked at my reflection with my dark purple eyes. I wore a regular black hoodie with black cargo pants with boots to keep warm in our cold village. I fixed my short purple dreads and fixed my diamond x earring that complimented my umber skin tone.
"I heard that your father returns today. This is it bro." Jackson stated as I handed him the mirror and dug in my pockets. Roars erupted inside the Hashimoto village as I put on my black fingerless gloves.
"So many questions I have for him. I don't even know where to begin." I said while clenching my fist.
"Don't worry, he's your father and is expecting you to have some. Let's go check out the commotion." Jackson chimed as he patted my back.
…
We ran down the hill into Hashimoto village, which was built of oak wood. The town itself was small, as all the buildings and houses were all in one area. The dry dirt on the ground was always cold despite the warm temperatures year round.
"Where do you think he could be?" I asked as we walked into a crowd of people. A crowd could be seen in the distance surrounding a group of men.
"I don't think we'll get to him through all these people…" I bemoaned as I closed my eyes. Jackson tapped my shoulder and pointed up to the roof. We both smirked at each other and ran up to the top of one of the buildings.
"Nothing is stopping us from this moment. Can you see him?" Jackson asked me. I looked into the distance while squinting my eyes.
"He may be near the library." Jackson suggested as he looked.
The library was the most important building in our town that provided information about our entire history and structure. It was a square rigid structure made from a unique purple wood that can't be burned. The tinted black windows thinly scattered across the walls allowing the star light to pierce through.
Our lives were dedicated to becoming an operator – a trained fighter that uses aura abilities and protects their home. The Hashimotos were known for our unique void flames that can burn through anything with the right amount of aura. That being said, it only made us a bigger target throughout Solaria.
…
I was unable to locate my father and grew anxious as I scouted the entire town.
"Nothing, I'm going to check the Hashimoto headquarters." I started as I looked towards the west side of the town.
I looked towards the black school structure that took a majority of space in our town. It had multiple football field lengths behind it with fellow operators training and practicing different moves.
A man with long black hair and umber skin tone stood in front of headquarters with two purple flame crows on his shoulder.
He waved at the people surrounding him with a smile on his fatigued face and noticeable eye bags. He wore a black bomber jacket with a navy blue t-shirt that hugged his muscles. His baggy gray sweats and black boots completed his outfit.
"Yeah I see him. Nick Hashimoto. He's gotten stronger while he was out on his mission.Everyone loves him." I rambled as Jackson smiled.
Nick locked eyes with me in the distance and disappeared from my view.
"Huh, where did he go?" I thought as he appeared behind me swinging towards my back. I dodged the attack flipping behind him with a knife to his neck.
"Mordecai Hashimoto, my handsome son, learned how to use blink." Nick laughed as he opened his arms. I jumped into them and caught a whiff of cigar off his jacket.
"You had no idea how much I missed you. We have so much catching up to do." I explained as my voice cracked. He smiled and kneeled in front of me.
"I'm home." He finished.
…
"Blinking huh? Do you even understand what that move is?" My father asked me as we approached our small, white two story house. The smell of my mom's dandelions greeted me from the garden she adored.
We lived on top of a hill above town near a forest and an amazing view of our village. The sky began to darken as the evening approached.
"Blinking is a high tier ability which allows you to move at high speeds before your opponent could blink. I'm 15 now, this is something I need to learn if I want to be a successful operator." I explained to him as we walked up the wooden steps.
"I know you have questions and I will explain them to you now. Take a seat son." Nick asked with a solemn look as he pointed to our wooden chairs on the porch. He cleared his throat and pulled out a cigar.
"We are a very feared clan with lots of enemies praying for our downfall. I spent the last few years gathering intel on expanding our alliance." Nick started before putting the cigar in his mouth. A rainbow fire emitted from the tip of his pointer finger and lit the cigar.
"I thought our alliance with the Nagamatsu was good enough. Who's hunting us?" I asked while crossing my arms. Nick nodded his head while releasing smoke out of his mouth.
"There is another district forming soon called the Holy Nation. It's supposed to be a place where anyone from any clan can live in peace and harmony. The Fulgur and Windhelm have formed an alliance to live under a new queen." Nick continued.
"The Fulgur clan finally left the frozen forest with the Windhelm? That's surprising considering no one gets along with those scum." I replied in shock.
…
My mother opened the door and hugged my father from behind. Her long luscious purple hair revealed her diamond earrings as she kissed my father. She wore a long black dress to show off her hourglass body with short black leggings under with flip flops.
"The two of you couldn't greet me before having this conversation?" She asked as her Sienna skin tone glistened in the red star's light. Nick grabbed her hand and kissed it before staring into her orange eyes.
"Apologies, Serena. Please stay and listen to what I have to say." Nick said as he invited her to sit on his lap. "I believe we can reach out to the holy nation's queen and unite the countries together. Her name is Pearl Valkarie, an operator from a royal family." Nick continued as my mom sat down on him.
"Why are you telling me all this?" I asked as I stood up dreading his response.
"I want to set up a team to infiltrate and obtain information about this new district. I need you to be the leader of this team." Nick replied while closing his eyes.
"Oh are you kidding me? I haven't seen you in years, and you want me to go out on some mission as you return? How the hell is that fair?" I yelled as I clenched my fist, feeling the anger rush through my body.
"Watch how you talk to your father." My mother pointed out and gave me a look of disappointment. I broke out in laughter and shook my head at her.
"Mom, I stopped caring about your opinion or anything you have to offer me. I don't need you." I replied before I started walking away.
…
"Mordecai! Stop acting on your emotions. This is important." My father yelled as I continued walking away. Suddenly, a man in a white cloak blinked in front of me and grabbed me by the throat.
My feet dangled in the air as I tried to understand what was happening. He wore a white mask with the letter "P" on his face, and tilted his head as he watched me struggle.
"Nick, is this your son?" The man asked in a deep voice before throwing me towards him like a toy. Nick caught me while glowing in his purple aura and helped me back up.
"You okay?" He asked me as I nodded. Serena walked in front of the two of us and kicked her flip flops off her feet.
"Who the hell are you?" She asked as the man slowly approached us. More people with the same attire and mask walked out the forest and followed behind him.
"We are here to play god, and end the hashimoto clan." A female voice said from above with a red sniper rifle. A short woman took off her hoodie revealing her cyan twin ponytails; however, she kept her mask on.
"Who the hell are these guys and how do they know my father?" I thought. Her presence alone froze the air around her as she pointed it towards me.
"You're the group that followed me while I was away the entire time. So, now you follow me home?" Nick said as he let me go and walked over next to my mother.
"You're a threat to our organization. We cannot allow for your existence in order to achieve our goal." Another female voice replied as an eruption of orange fire appeared next to the man. She appeared out of the flames and only revealed her long orange hair with yellow highlights.
…
Nick pulled out his cigar and held it with his teeth while taking off his jacket. His arms were tattooed with a spider on one arm, and crows on the other.
"Interesting, so you think you can just walk to my doorstep and announce you will destroy my home, my people, my loved ones? Do you know what happens when you upset a Hashimoto?" Nick asked as he took out the cigar and stepped on it.
The man in the mask nodded at the woman with the ponytails before she blinked above the entire village.
"My apologies, I forgot to introduce myself. We are the prophets, an organization who will save the world. You can call me Red, my partner in the sky about to destroy the village Cyan, and the one who is about to destroy your house Orange." The man in the mask stated as the mask grew a smile.
"Magma core!" Orange yelled as she glowed orange and clapped her hands.
"She's using her aura to create a deadly attack against us. Shoot, Red just said our house..!" I thought as her aura beamed into the sky and shook the ground. Magma erupted from under the house engulfing it to complete sand.
"Son, warn the others in the village. And most of all, do not get caught. Prioritize your life." Nick yelled as he pointed back at the village. I was completely stunned by her ability as I watched my house vanish instantly in front of me.
…
"Mordecai, listen to us now. Get out of here." My mom yelled as she slowly released a purple aura around her body. My eyes widened with panic as I realized what's about to come next.
"Cobra's breath." She yelled as she raised her right arm. A purple-flamed snake slithered out her chest and wrapped itself around the arm as she released a purple hellfire towards Red.
Part of his men screamed as the flames incinerated their skin. The air quickly filled with the smoke of burnt flesh allowing me an opportunity to warn the village.
Prophet minions chased me as I sprinted down the hill into the village. They pulled out guns and shot, skinning my face as I barely avoided one.
"Ice bullets, oh perfect." I thought as the wound froze a few seconds later. Two minions jumped in front of me at the entrance and unleashed a flamethrower. The flames grew big as its intensity increased, yet I walked out with a grin on my face.
"That won't work on me!" I yelled, emerging out the flames with no burn marks and grabbed both their faces. I released my purple aura letting it cloak around my body, and smashed their faces to the ground.
"Moyasu." I said as I unleashed a purple void flame onto their faces, covering their screams as they flopped like fish on the ground.
…
More bullets flew in my direction from more minions as I blinked to the top of the building to create some distance. Jackson blinked to my side and put his hands around my shoulder with a smile on his face.
"Hey man, you are already done hanging with your family? Sweet, let's go hit up that corner store and grab a drink." He said while messing with my hair. A bullet skimmed his face before I blinked him away to another building.
"Jackson, we're being attacked by some group called the prophets. They followed my father from his last mission, and are threatening to destroy the village!" I explained as his wound froze a few seconds later.
A rainbow flame explosion roared from the top of the hill where my dad was, followed by the sound of the bell in the center of town.
"Emergency. Threats detected in the village. Prepare your defenses. I repeat, prepare your defenses." An announcer stated to the entire village.
"Something is happening…" Jackson said he pointed to the sky. Cyan was charging her cyan aura in the red skies and sent chills below her. Her face mask turned into an evil grin as she watched operators form together beneath her.
"Your flames won't be able to stop this!" She yelled down as she pointed the gun at the village.
…
Cyan finally shot her sniper rifle, yet nothing came out. Instead, the skies opened behind her revealing a giant argentavis ice bird swooping towards the village.
"Shit, I wonder how much aura it takes to make that giant bird?" Jackson asked as we stood back to back. Prophet minions surrounded us pointed their weapons while more blinked to the roof with swords.
My body started shaking on its own before I felt a pat from Jackson.
"Don't tell me you're scared now. I got your back bro." Jackson ensured as his body slowly surrounded itself with his gray aura. I laughed and shook my head in response.
"I'm not scared, I'm excited. Don't hold back on these fools." I replied as they started shooting. I blinked behind one of the shooters and punched through his chest to rip his heart out. I lit the heart in flames and threw it towards two more shooters. The heart exploded on contact and blew them into the sky.
…
The two swordsmen blinked in front of Jackson and started swinging in unison. Jackson jumped into the air and opened his mouth releasing a corrosive flame rain hitting one of the swordsmen.
The other swordsmen evaded his attack and blinked behind him with a swift strike. The sword cut part of Jackson's hair as he dodged and grabbed him.
"Dude, that was my hair. Do you know how long it takes to style it?" Jackson yelled as he punched the swordsman's face. The other swordsmen came from behind going for the finishing blow while Jackson was distracted.
Jackson blinked away as the swordsman swung into his allies chest leaving them vulnerable for his final attack. He completely emitted himself in flames and flew through both of them turning them into ashes.
…
The rest of the minions left us as the temperatures decreased rapidly in the village. The bird opened its mouth and released its frost breath down onto the village.
Cyan disappeared from the sky as operators lined up throughout the village and retaliated with a combined fire storm. We watched the two abilities clash and create a steam around the entire village, obscuring our vision.
"Shit, something's not right about this Mordecai. I feel like that woman in the sky planned for this to happen." Jackson commented as orange eyes glowed from the steam behind him.
"Jackson!" I yelled as I pushed him away and met a punch in the face rendering me unconscious.
…
I woke up to the coughs of Jackson and him mummering something to himself. My vision was still blurred as I groaned in pain from the punch I took.
"Oh Jackson, are we good now? I'm assuming my dad clutched up and saved everyone." I said before Jackson covered my mouth.
"You're alive… that's good. Just whisper, they are waiting for you to wake up." Jackson whispered as I looked at him up and down. He was covered with fresh wounds across his body, and only wearing a white t-shirt covered in blood with ripped shorts.
I began to analyze our surroundings and noticed we're in a small cell covered in dry blood and dirt. The cold air coming from the small window behind me tickled my skin, as I looked at the electrified bars generating heat in front.
"No… no no no…" I started as tears rolled down my face. The cell doors opened up as Red walked in with two guards.
"I respect your father, Mordecai. He really is the strongest Hashimoto I've ever faced. Too bad he was opposing me." Red started as the two guards grabbed Jackson and I. I flipped the guard off me and snapped his neck as more rushed in to tackle me.
"And that mother of yours has a smart mouth.. So I permanently muted her along with the rest of the village. I promise you don't have to worry about anyone anymore.. I freed you." Red finished as the guards carried me outside.
I released a small circle of flames around myself and burned all the guards into ashes instantaneously. I blinked behind Red with a fist covered in flames and went for the punch to the back of his head.
…
"Energetic I see." Red said as he grabbed by arm and placed cuffs on them. My flame went out as he blinked above the ground level to a coal mine field. Other inmates were holding pickaxes including Jackson, and mining ore while being whipped by guards.
"You will join the others and mine for ore that is needed for our weapons. I expect the best results from you or I'll kill you myself." Red stated as he placed his hand on my back. Flames erupted from his palm and I screeched in pain. He threw me next to Jackson who was whispering to himself and mindlessly mining away.
"Here Hashimoto." A guard handed me a pickaxe as I struggled to get up from the floor. A whip quickly hit my back forcing me up and I instantly started mining away. It was like this for days, and the only thing we were given were nutrient pills that barely gave us energy.
We were allowed to sleep for six hours, then spent 16 hours mining endlessly with two hour break time. It's only been two weeks, but despair and sorrow quickly took over my mind as each day passed by.
One night, Jackson woke me up during the night with a serious face.
"Huh, Jackson? What happened?" I said as I rubbed my eyes. He handed me two weeks worth of the pills we've been eating into the palm of my hands.
"I've been faking my condition and saving these. I have a plan to get the hell out of here and we're doing it now."
…
I sat up in the bed and laid my back against the wall trying to process what Jackson informed me.
"Before you tell me the plan, you've been faking that 'act' of yours?" I started while clenching my fist.
"To be honest, I'm angry. Once you took that punch for me, they began slaughtering our people like pigs. They found my family and stomped on my mother's head while forcing my father and I to watch. My father had a heart attack and passed away." Jackson explained as he stood back up to walk towards the window.
"Bro…" I said as I ate the pills and felt a surge of aura flow into my body. Jackson stared at the moon with a straight face and remained silent.
"Those pills restore a lot of your energy. Now, I need to get some for myself. There is a guard tower in the middle of the camp upstairs past the mines.
Of course, it will be guarded as we make our way there." Jackson continued as he turned around and started coughing excessively. I ran over to as he fell to the floor and patted his back.
"You don't have much time. We need to get over there and secure the guard tower before your condition gets worse. I won't waste this opportunity that you created for us." I replied in a serious tone.
"I call this operation 'get the hell out'." Jackson managed to say above the coughing before we started laughing.
…
Jackson started having a seizure on the ground phizzing out his mouth and eyes rolled back. "Guards, help! Something is happening with another inmate." I yelled. A guard from above opened the door and descended down the staircase slowly.
"Shut the hell up Hashimoto. What are you crying about?" The guard asked before noticing Jackson. He holstered his weapon and grabbed his keys in his pocket as he got closer.
"When did this start happening? This does not look good.." The guard asked me as he turned the lock on the door. I pounced through the door and landed on top of him while burning him slowly.
"As far as I'm concerned, this is all your fault." I whispered in his ears as I muffled his screams with my hand. Jackson stood up from the ground and spat while walking out the cell.
"Just kill him already. I'll take his clothes and we can head upstairs." Jackson started as I cracked the guard's neck. Jackson suited up quickly while I placed the body on my bed under the sheets.
"All this dude had was a knife. I don't want to exhaust myself before we get to the tower." Jackson said while examining a small black combat knife.
"You let me handle the takedowns. Just lead the way." I replied with a thumbs up as I closed the cell. We ran up the stairs into the mine and hid behind a big rock. The ore we usually mined was lighting up the tight space like a rainbow.
I peeked over and counted 5 guards slacking off and talking amongst themselves. The other end of the mine was the courtyard that will get us to the guard house.
"Counted 5. One is overseeing the others, the rest are in pairs." I explained to Jackson as I picked up some small rocks.
"I think you know what to do. We'll take out the pairs together once you take out that sniper." Jackson replied as he took the combat knife out.
…
I lit the small rock with my flames and threw it at a high speed at the sniper. The rock pierced through his skull causing him to fall to the floor.
"He's dead. Good throw. Let's take care of the guards approaching our position." Jackson whispered as two guards with rifles walked towards them conversing.
"Red, Cyan and Orange went to take care of something. It's weird not having any of them around." One of the guards said.
"Music to my ears. I hate the tense feeling they give off. I actually feel like I could breathe properly now." The other guard replied as they sat on the rocks. Jackson signaled to take them out, and the two of us grabbed them from behind.
I cracked the guard's neck while Jackson slit the other's throat and covered his mouth. I stripped down the guard for his clothes, and changed while picking up his rifle.
We both put on the shades and caps before yelling for the others down the hall.
"Hey guys, we have a situation over here." Jackson yelled as the two others ran over.
"What's up guys? Don't tell me you–." One started before we took both of them down. We ran into the courtyard and entered into the guardhouse with one of the badges we found on the bodies.
…
We walked inside and immediately faced a map with directions to resources, headquarters, and break rooms. We both read the map and nodded in sync as we headed downstairs to resources.
We descended quickly towards a guard standing with his eyes wide open. We stopped in our tracks and waved at him to avoid suspicion.
"I don't think he's awake. He might be asleep." Jackson whispered as we tiptoed closer. We took the keys gently off his belt and opened the door behind him.
"We are still taking him out. Can't let this bite us in the ass later." I whispered as I grabbed the guard from behind and cracked his neck. Jackson took the opportunity to find the nutrients pills and ate as many as he could.
"We should burn all this equipment. This will allow us some time in case things go haywire." I said as I closed the door and kicked the guard's body away. Jackson threw a bottle of nutrient pills at me as he finished gulping his portion.
"These taste like shit, but I can feel my strength returning. That sounds like a good plan, let's blink to the top and take over the headquarters." Jackson said while opening another bottle.
…
After setting a small fire and regaining our strength, we blinked to headquarters on the top floor and slipped past the guards. The control room was empty, and provided a clear view of the entire camp.
"You watch the door while I try to get into the computer." I said as I pointed to the console in the center of the room. I tapped the display and faced a screen requesting a password.
"If I worked in a concentration camp, where would I hide the password?" I thought as I looked around the desk. I finally picked up a piece of paper with the password as a folder dropped on the floor labeled 'Holy Nation'.
"Jackson, catch." I said as I picked up the folder and passed it to him.
"What is this?" Jackson asked as he opened it while I entered the password.
"The last thing my dad had the chance to tell me was about this 'Holy Nation' place that he wanted me to check out. What's the file say?" I asked as I waited for the system to load up.
"They are the newest nation that opened a few days ago. They are looking to recruit fighters for their country. Sounds like a good place for us to blend in." Jackson continued while nodding. The computer beeped and displayed a menu.
"Let's see our options: reboot systems, add/remove access, self destruct. I mean, it seems simple to me." I continued while selecting self destruct. A large siren rang throughout the camp alerting the guards below.
…
Footsteps could be heard coming up the stairs as Jackson signaled to hide. 2 Guards burst through the door with Red following behind with his mask on. He walked towards the computer screen with the self destruct timer counting down and sighed.
"Useless rats!" He yelled as he grabbed the two guards and burned them with his red flames until their skeletons were the only thing left.
"I can sense you Hashimotos in the room. Come out now!" He continued as explosions started behind him. Jackson blinked in front of him and threw a punch covered in his aura. Red flipped over him while grabbing him and threw him through the glass into the explosion.
"Jackson!" I yelled as I jumped out of my hiding spot and went to chase him. Red stepped in front of me and kicked me into the wall.
"The one night I leave to attend to some matters, here you are messing everything up. Man, I wish I could just kill you like the rest." Red continued as the explosions and yells from below echoed into the air.
…
"You have no right to speak. You took my clan, my family, and now my best friend! There's no way you can come out of here alive!" I yelled as I released my magenta aura.
Red blinked in front of me with a punch filled with red flames, but I kicked it away and punched his mask. Red staggered backwards while holding the mask together to keep his identity hidden.
"Inku!" I yelled as my flame kick exploded on his stomach and sent him flying out the window. I jumped after him and shot a spider web fluid flame that bit his chest and dragged him back up to me. Red blinked above me and stomped me to the ground, shaking the surrounding area. The caves and tower started to fall as I laid on the floor barely conscious.
"I knew exactly what you were gonna do. If I let you do it… no matter. Look at you.. You probably can't hear me." Red said as I tried to look up. He smirked and started to walk away as the tower was falling down.
"I'll see you soon." He finished as the tower finally collapsed on me.
