Animals do have the ability to reason and they can also think.
The reason why I asked you if you are asking me about just a particular type of animal or not is because people often put monsters into the 'Animal' category also and monsters can't reason... or that's what I thought until I remembered that you have 6 hands and one-eyed giant monster as your Kingdoms Guard.

Yes, every animal can reason and they all can think.
If they couldn't, those bulls used by a farmer on their farm would be useless as those bulls wouldn't learn a single thing and they would provide no help to the farmer.
Same with horses that are used to pull our carriage and used for rides.
