Synopsis
Once upon a time, there was a lifeless, planet-sized rock named Gaia. One day, the Six Elemental gods descended upon Gaia, gave it life and gave its inhabitants their powers. Through wars against Darkness and between themselves, these elemental warriors have become known as BladeMasters. Now, in the present day, the almighty BladeMaster military nation, the Order, controls half of the continent of Karash and aims its sights on total continental domination. Book 1: Birth of a Legend Welcome to Soula, the Scholar City! It's in this town, located in the center of the Karash continent, where many trade routes meet, where the BladeMaster Academy is encountered, taking in hopeful students from all corners of the continent to teach them how to become valiant warriors. Usually, Soula has taken a neutral role in the clash between the Kingdom of Karash and the military nation of the Order, but when a mysterious light shines down in the town square, bringing within it a strange boy, mercenary guild master Lucy Crow and scholarly Sage Eldus Egas just might have found a way to give their beloved country its much desired freedom! (This is a fanfiction, I don't own Soul Crash.)

Chapter 1 - Genesis

Long, long ago, in the depths of space, there existed a lone rock, decrepit and lifeless, about the size of a full-flegded planet. One day, the six Elemental gods descended onto this rock and, with their grace, created life and, eventually, that life developed consciousness. The fragile human, with its infinite potential was born. The gods, then called the planet "Gaia" and life prospered.

But, as a shadow is cast upon every inch of light, the world was soon overrun by a mysterious, malefic force, who brought chaos onto the world, taking countless lives in its wake.

To fight this threat, four of the gods, Tera, Pyre, Aqua and Mistral shared their power with the humans' souls who, in turn, managed to transfer that power into weapons and, with that, they fought the oncoming evil. The legendary BladeMasters were born.

Historians say that the remaining two gods, Lightus and Darkus, only shared their powers with people who they deemed worthy, making them extremely powerful warriors. Unfortunately, the enemy saw them as the most dangerous threat and many were killed off, making those BladeMasters practically extinct.

As the fight raged on, Lightus and Darkus merged and ascended into the heavens, wiping out the enemy with trememdous power. With that, balance was brought onto Gaia. The remaining gods joined Lightus and Darkus, leaving the humans with the task of making their own destiny with their newfound powers.

It seemed that, for a few millenia, such decision was the right thing to do. Many societies, such as the mighty kingdom of Karash, on the continent of the same name, were born, and technology, using the powers of the Elements, thrived. Peace, seemingly, was maintained.

But with time, the people who possessed more power sought to obtain even more, conquering other countries and regions, in an effort to take over the entire planet. Many others rebelled against these giants and fought back. And there were those who did the same, but to only try and conquer the weak and wounded. Arms technology was greatly improved, and violence spread across the globe yet again. But this time...it was humans versus humans.

Thus, the Great BladeMaster War started, raging on for centuries.

One fateful day, though, the War took a drastic change, thanks to the actions of one man: Attilla. A powerful, peace-loving BladeMaster, who had traveled across the globe, witnessing the gore of human nature. Attila decided to create his own society, in order to bring order and peace to the world once again.

So, he gathered a small group of war orphans, and created the Order, a military group under no country, completely free. The Order's actions sought to stop the War, even if it the last resort was violence. The Order's BladeMasters were very talented, handpicked by Attilla himself and even if they were mere children, in the unbelievable space of eight years, the major conflicts across Gaia were completely brought to an end, the War ending in a swift blow.

It all seemed well to Attilla and his children but, again, it all changed.

Suddenly, Attilla set out on a mysterious journey and never came back. The Order was left to fend for themselves and, without his guidance, they fell into darkness and used their powers to dominate the weaker regions, who lost all their military power to the War. They gathered more soldiers and grew more and more in power.

The Order has taken over more than half of the continent of Karash with its immense power and it seems that nobody could ever stop them.
