Chapter 3 - The Monarch and Maestro Ishya Lugalbanda

For many years.

I have seen birds fly across the sky, but as I grew up, I knew that I was not looking at birds, but at planes.

Planes which all dropped bombs, on my homeland of Iraq.

I am a very curious girl.

Growing up, my mother and father did their best to provide books and stories from around the world, and when the loud noises got close, I would read as to escape the harsh reality.

One day.

I read the Epic of Gilgamesh, which is one of my favorite stories.

I wanted to know more about King Gilgamesh, who once ruled in my homeland.

While doing research, I came across Gilgamesh's grandfather.

The Chalice has appeared, and I have a desire to fulfill; To free my homeland, so that we may go back to the times of the House of Wisdom.

But.

I need help.

I need an Attendant.

My name is Ishya Lugalbanda.

and I am ready to fight.

Ishya's command jewelry is a necklace made from lapis lazuli.

Ishya was standing at the ruins of once strong-walled; Uruk.

But.

The walls of mighty Uruk were still standing, as a sign that the great ancient city could even withstand the test of time.

Ishya walked up to where the ziggurat once stood.

She dripped some of her blood on the ground, and then she uttered the summoning chant;

" As you once fought for this family, so then, as now, I hereby, as your heir and Maestro, summon you, my ancestor as my attendant! "

Tiamat let out a roar- the Earth shook.

Inanna could be seen smiling.

And the warm glow of Utu shone down, as King Enmerkar had now returned to Uruk.

Ishya could now see these words in her mind;

Attendant; Enmerkar.

Weapon; Not specified.

Limiters;

First limiter broken; he gains access to his Gate of Babel.

Second limiter broken; unknown.

Third limiter broken; he can utilize his UEG; Urash-Ereshkigal-Gula; the All-breaker.

(Special feature of note;

When Enmerkar uses his gates of Babel, his portals have the shape and image of the wrist watch of the Anunnaki.)

In some cases.

Attendants can have some of their limiters be unknown to their Maestros, and it is up to the Attendant if they wish for their Maestro to know what the unknown limiter is.

Ishya kneeled in front of the god in human skin.

She now held up her necklace, and said;

" If you so wish, my King, I would happily break all my gemstones, as to release all your limiters "

King Enmerkar just looked down at the young and strong woman kneeling in front of him.

" Break only one gemstone, so that I may gain access to my Gates of Babel " said Enmerkar, in a kingly manner.

" If you so desire, sire " said Ishya, as she did as he told.

But she was still not looking at Enmerkar.

" Why do you avert your eyes? " asked the King, curiously.

" I feel unworthy to look upon such a majestic being like yourself "

King Enmerkar giggled.

" You have shown your worth and love, you may look upon me, as much as you desire "

Ishya slowly looked up, and once she saw him, she started to cry.

" Your beauty and glory is unreal " she uttered, as the tears kept rolling.

King Enmerkar giggled yet again.

He then helped Ishya back on her feet.

" What now, my Maestro? "

" I am unworthy to be called such, especially by a King like yourself, please call me by my given name "

" I feel like calling you Maestro, do you object to my decision? "

" Of course not, sire… " said Ishya, as she kneeled again.

Enmerkar sighed.

He then opened a portal, and out came a spaceship, which was once used by the Anunnaki.

" Join me, my Maestro, and let us both fulfil your desire " said Enmerkar, yet again, in a kingly manner.

Ishya's heart was filled with joy, as her eyes were filled with tears, she then took Enmerkar's extended hand, and the two of them were now heading towards Sweden, towards the Chalice.
