The dragon Kraken vs everyone on the Argo
Within the kingdom of Sargon.
" Hey Telegonus, do you know what time it is? " said Stephanie.
" No, what time is it? " said Telegonus.
" It is time, FOR A FIELD TRIP ON THE ARGO! " said Stephanie.
Later.
On the tigris river.
Sargon, Nimrod, Sam, Stephanie and Telegonus, could all be seen aboard the Argo on the tigris river.
" Now this was an excellent idea, all of us could use some fresh air " said Sargon.
" Indeed sire, but should we really let Telegonus stirre the ship? " said Nimrod.
" It is his ship, so I am sure that it will be fine " said Sargon.
" Hey Mazda, I have been wondering, why is Mesopotamia known as the land between the rivers? " said Sam.
" Well, Mesopotamia is known as the land between the rivers, because, the Tigris and Euphrates rivers pretty much surround all of Mesopotamia " said Mazda.
" That is also why the people of Mesopotamia have built buildings like the ziggurat, because, the Mesopotamian people have to deal with lots of floods " said SOD.
" Oh please, I doubt that a little water could be that dangerous " said Stephanie.
" Do. Not. Underestimate. Water. " said Mazda.
Suddenly.
It was as if the Tigris river changed.
" Guys…. do you feel that? " said Stephanie.
" Sire…. " said Nimrod.
" I can feel it too, it is as if, something dangerous is coming towards us " said Sargon.
" Everyone, I am going to sail back to port, I think that it would be a bad idea to continue " said Telegonus and everyone agreed.
The Argo was heading back to port.
Sam was looking into the Tigris river.
Sam looked into the black and cold abyss, that was the sea.
Sam looked deep within, and that was when Sam saw something look back….
" Sister…. " said Sam.
Stephanie looked overboard, and then saw the thing.
" What the hell is that…." said Stephanie.
Suddenly.
Something hit the Argo, which sent the Argo out of control.
" Everyone, hold on! " said Sargon.
Telegonus did his best to get control over the Argo and after a few seconds, Telegonus finally had control.
" What hit us? " said Telegonus.
" I don't know. Bring us back to port " said Sargon but that was when something sprang forth from the Tigris river.
The thing started to overshadow the Argo and everyone onboard.
Everyone looked up in disbelief, and all of them did their best, as to not go mad.
Before everyone stood a monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind.
" Mazda, what is that? " said Stephanie while looking at the horror.
" That is….. Cthulhu, High Priest of the Great Old Ones " said Mazda.
Cthulhu looked straight down on everyone on the Argo.
" Sire, what do we do? " said Nimrod.
" We protect the children and we fight till the end " said Sargon with a smile.
" Yes sire " said Nimrod with a smile.
Sargon and Nimrod readied themselves for battle.
" Sister, what do we do? " said Sam.
Stephanie looked at her brother.
Stephanie then looked at Sargon and Nimrod.
Stephanie then looked at the gigantic madness standing before them.
Stephanie then said
" Khepri "
Suddenly.
Cthulhu felt something grab hold of one of its feet.
Cthulhu looked down into the Tigris river, Cthulhu then saw the gigantic scarab god, Khepri.
Cthulhu then dived straight down into the river.
Cthulhu and Khepri then battled underwater.
Their battle made the waters of the Tigris river shake uncontrollably, and after a long battle with the waves, Telegonus was finally able to bring the Argo back to port.
The waters of the Tigris river finally calmed down, and Khepri and Cthulhu could no longer be seen.
Everyone were still pretty shaken a bit up by the terror they laid their eyes on, but nothing good came from being silent, and Sargon and Nimrod knew that they all had to talk about what they had seen.
All of them returned to the palace where they talked and ate.
There was surprisingly not much to say, because it was hard to explain what they had seen but, in the end, all of them were able overcome and defeat their fears.
It was now night within the kingdom, and everyone were asleep, together, within the chamber of Sargon the great.
Later.
At Ghroth.
Sat the King in yellow on his throne.
The King in yellow was not alone but it was not his niece or nephew that had come, but instead, it was archangel Samael who wanted a word with the yellow sign.
Hastur looked at archangel Samael.
" To what do I owe this honor? " said Hastur.
" Why can you and your family not leave my family alone? " said Samael.
" To be fair, it is only my niece and brother who have attacked you children " said Hastur.
Samael got angry.
" Ah, that sweet smell of anger, with a bit of bloodthirst, which is a rare set of emotions, especially coming from an archangel " said Hastur.
Samael smiled.
" I am not like the other archangels "
" And I am not like my brother…. " said Hastur.
The Unspeakable One then did the unspeakable and transformed into his true form, a form that could scare nightmares.
" This is who I am " said Hastur with a tone, that could even make a Saint despair.
Archangel Samael was oddly enough, not affected by Hastur.
Samael instead smiled and then Samael said
" Let me show you why I am not like the other archangels "
Samael then transformed into his other form, a form that sacred even Moses.
Hastur looked at the form of Samael, that scared a prophet.
Even Ghroth looked in disbelief.
Hastur then said
" I see that you and my nephew share the same problem "
Samael quickly transformed back into his normal and less terrifying self and Hastur did the same.
" So what now? " said Hastur.
" Now, I leave, and watch as my children overcome despair " said Samael.
Samael then returned to heaven.
The King in Yellow then sat back on his throne.
" If you think that you can handle it, then I won't stop you " said Hastur.
From the void of another space, could a single word be heard, and that word was " Finally "
