Ivy watched over the dance floor as she saw the patrons dance to the beat and drink the night away. They had been there for over an hour and Ivy had scrolled through her phone and now she was bored watching others have fun, not that she wanted to join them. In fact, she would much prefer to be in bed than sit here all night.
She set her drink down and watched the patrons and she realised how much she had changed. It felt like so long ago she had come to clubs like these with Jamie and Pierce and now she felt more settled and secure in life that she didn't feel the want or need to drink and dance the evening away. Once she would have done exactly what these girls were doing but now as she glanced around at Noah she realised that she was content with Noah, no matter what they were doing together it didn't matter.
Noah glanced up at his lover from a pile of documents, his eyes sparked with a fire that called him. He stood and walked towards her, "Want to go home?"
