I dreamt my parents were back. I dreamt nothing had ever happened and it was a normal Sunday morning. I went to the kitchen to find my mother and father cooking, making a feast. My sister was up, like usual. I was always the last to wake up. I dreamt everyone was laughing as we ate. I dreamt of orange juice and the sun. My dream was quickly ruined as it turned into reality. Me waking up to darkness, going to the empty kitchen by myself. The only sound the scraping of my sister and my forks on the plates. The chilly darkness. I shuddered into consciousness. I realized tears were streaming down my cheeks, but I didn't wipe them away. I glanced at my little clock. It was 3:02 AM. Great. I still had hours until daylight. I felt air blow across my face, as if someone had ran past me. I wiped the tears from my eyes so I could see better and looked across the room. Oh my god. There was someone in my room. Oh my god oh my god. I blinked. The dark figure was still there. I knew I wasn't seeing things this time. Fear froze me in place. I couldn't move. My eyes adjusted to the darkness, and I saw who it was. Relief washed through me. It was my sister. I sat up, confused. "Darcie? What are you doing?" I examined her better. Her hair was wild. Tangled and sticking in the air. She was wearing.. a dress? I looked closer. It was the dress I made her years ago, but it had tears and scratch marks in it. Why the heck was she wearing a dress in the middle of the night? Why was it all torn? I realized there were red stains on it. I was so confused. I saw something glisten in the moonlight. I looked down at her hands to see she was holding... a knife. I swallows loudly as I saw a red stain on it. "Darcie! What are you doing?? Why are you holding a knife! Darcie answer me!" She kept quiet. I examined her face. Her eyes were white. "Oh my god! DARCIE! What's happening with your eyes! Stop it! Your scaring me!" I screeched. Her mouth had a terrifying smile, but there were red stains around her mouth. I realized it was blood. That's what was on her dress. And, the knife. "Hi Molly" she said. Her voice was not hers. It sounded as if multiple people were talking. I was terrified.
