Audrey pov:-
"You are right Audrey , the Blue family but you know we are not from around here , I mean from this pack . It has been just 3 generations since Blue family took over " luna Ayla said
" Really, just 3 generations " I said shocked.
" Blue family is quiet small but all have Alpha blood coursing through their veins " luna said staring at me.
" Really that would make your pack quiet strong if they are loyal but it increase challenge too doesn't it , anybody strong enough can step up to challenge Alpha Bob. So how many Blues are in this pack right now ?" I asked worried.
" Nah , my son is the strongest right now and my husband is the second strongest . I think John is the third strongest but he has no interest in becoming an Alpha and besides there aren't many Blues left . In this pack there are just 4 " Luna said sipping her tea.
" Just 4 really ? "
" Yeah , you see blue Mountain pack consists people of many different blood lines with different ethnicity . Not a single bloodline makes up 5% of the population . So the strongest one is chosen to rule and then their line can continue to rule if they are strong enough . That's how we became the ruling family"
" I see " I said slowly.
" Including me , my husband , my son and my husband's cousin John , we are the four Blues in our pack constituting the head family "
" Are there any others out there ?" I asked.
" I only know 4 more , Catherine's son Lucas , your mother Kate and you . There is one more but I don't know if he's alive or not " Luna answered
" T-hat means I have Alpha blood " I stuttered .
" Yes your name is Audrey Blue Miller " Luna smiled.
" Your great- grandfather was the first Blue to take over this pack as an Alpha . He had a single unmated daughter Kayla when he died and he passed on the title to my grandfather who became the second blue to rule .
I was there when my grandfather was chosen as the Alpha , it was a lovely day . My mother raised Kayla , your grandmother and me together . My father was the beta of our pack and he didn't accept Alpha position as there were other worthy candidates. Again ,a Blue was chosen with pack's approval , Bob blue ( current Alpha) . You know that my pack is quiet happy that I was able to bear an heir otherwise they would have to worry about choosing someone again " Luna smiled.
" So did you have someone else in mind before Brian was born, Luna " I asked .
Her face went pale , " I had someone in mind but he didn't live upto his expectations and was rejected "
She was sad so I changed the topic ," what happened to my grandma Kayla. You guys were raised together so where is she now. " I asked
" Your grandmother ran away from the pack " Luna said sadly.
" Why " my eyes grew wider .
" We didn't know at first . We searched but never found her . At the same time I turned out to be Bob's mate which was quiet surprising . Blues usually don't get mated to Blues . You could say me and Bob are one of a kind " she smiled
"3 years later we found your grandmother Kayla near our border with one year old Kate and .." she stopped.
So that's why mom hid it her father was a rogue but that was her father not her .
" And ?" I asked
" Nothing forget it " Luna said waving her hand .
" Kayla told us she ran with her mate who was a rogue but when he died she returned because she didn't want her children ,sorry child to grow up like a rogue and we welcomed her back to the pack but Kayla soon followed her mate and left Kate in our custody . Then she got mated to Krist and Catherine got mated to Rob . They were both so happy " Luna started crying .
I heard they raised luna Catherine as their own since her parents died . She was a Blue too.
" Kate said she wanted to get rid of her wretched past and forget about everything , I think that's why she didn't tell you . Apart from your Alpha and your father no one knows Kate is from this pack and is from the Head family. Your Alpha doesn't know your grandfather was a rogue and I want you to keep it that way . " Luna said.
" Yeah that explains it , thanks Luna " I said looking down , I had Alpha blood and Rogue blood running through my veins ironic isn't it. Now I could feel why mom hid it but still she didn't do anything and I don't think every rogue is bad .
" Audrey , if your grandfather or anyone else was a rogue it doesn't make you a bad person you understand it don't you ? A child shouldn't pay for the sins of this ancestors . In this world one is only only responsible for one's own" Luna said rubbing my shoulder .
" I know Luna . I am glad you told me everything " I gave her a half- hearted smile.
" Off topic but I heard David left your bag full of clothes, Brian told me " Luna said smiling .
" Yeah "
" Come on I will give you some I have plenty of your mother's here " she stood up .
" You know one distinguishing feature Blues have"
" No "
" They have pretty blue eyes . Our family only has Blue eyes . Me , Bob , John , even Lucas too.You inherited them too although your mother didn't . She got her father's, while you got your grandmother's and.... " Luna stopped again .
" Trust me you solved one of the biggest mysteries of my life. I always wondered why I had blue eyes because Millers in our pack have brown eyes . It's not necessary but most of them have brown eyes " I said .
Luna gave me some really fancy beautiful clothes saying that these were Mom's.
" Are you sure these are Mom's . She doesn't wear clothes like that now" I said .
Luna's face went pale again " w-e-ll I guess Kat-e's choices changed with time " she stuttered and left .
Well that was weird.
Luna Ayla's pov:-
I stepped into my room with mixed feelings like happiness mixed with a lot of sadness . Kayla, Kate , Catherine and ... I miss them.
I met your grand -daughter today Kayla , she is so beautiful and strong , I grabbed Kayla's picture frame from my drawer .
My phone started ringing , I wiped my tears and picked it up
" Hello "
No one answered but after a while I heard her voice,
" It's me Aunt Ayla , Kate . You didn't change your number didn't you "
" How could I change it , I was waiting for your call , for 19 years I haven't changed my number just hoping you would call me " I answered
" You should change it Aunt Kate , 'he' knows this number too "
" He won't call me , I wonder if he even remembers " I said trying to suppress my tears
" Did you tell her ? Did you tell my daughter? " her voice shaking .
" I didn't tell her the stuff we promised about ,I didn't tell her about 'him'. I told her the rest. You should have at least told her that you were from Blue Mountain " I said sadly
" She knows now anyways . Did you tell her about my dad" Kate asked me .
" I told her , don't worry she won't tell anyone "
Kate remained silent.
" Will you come visit me Kate ? " I pleaded
" This place brings awful memories Aunt Ayla , you know I won't come " she said sadly.
" Then promise me you won't stop Audrey " I asked.
" I will try " .
After that the line went dead.
It was almost time for dinner.
Audrey's pov:-
I was sprawled out on the bed thinking about everything Luna Ayla told me .
Someone knocked and came inside . I knew it was Mia.
" Wake up sleepy head it's time for dinner , Lucas is waiting for us "
She looked at me ," are you fine Audrey ?'' .
I didn't want to tell her right now I just needed sometime,
" I got into a fight with beta , he left my bag at our pack and that one had all my formal clothes " I said getting out of the bed.
" Shit do you need some of mine then " Mia asked worried .
" You barely packed anything .if I took yours then what will you wear so I borrowed some from Luna " I picked up my new clothes and went inside the bathroom to change.
At dinning table , Alpha Rob and Alpha Bob and Luna Ayla were busy talking . Mia and Lucas were chatting about their own stuff and beta David was just staring at me like I am a different person or something . I saw Brian taking a seat beside me . He got near me and whispered barely loud enough for me to hear , " are you doing fine Audrey ."
I nodded. Beta David glared at me . Dinner was served and I thanked Goddess because I was starving.
" Audrey , Mia tomorrow there is training right after breakfast . I hope you two are ready" Alpha Rob said and we both nodded.
"Almost half of the pack girls above 16 will be there tomorrow . The other half will be on the day after tomorrow " Alpha Bob said .
After dinner Brian took all of us to show us around ," Lucas and David have already seen it but it's your first time Audrey , Mia so I hope this is an amazing experience for you two" Brian said.
Blue mountain pack was truly exquisite and beautiful , with mountains and streams and beautiful caves . After wandering around for hours the five of us came back to the pack house . I stopped in the garden to enjoy the calm cool atmosphere ,
" You aren't coming Audrey " Lucas asked.
" I am just enjoying the scenery you guys go " I said .
" Want me to keep you some company " Brian asked me .
" I don't mind if you want to join me then yeah for sure" I smiled.
Beta David stopped in his tracks and looked at me and then Brian.
" Audrey it's getting late , get some rest. You guys have a lot of work to do tomorrow " he said slowly .
Beta David something nice to me , I should really write this date and time.If he thinks I am gonna forget about my bag considering this then he is mistaken.
" Thanks for your concern but I am staying here. You have a lot of work to do tomorrow beta , finding , searching etc " I said smirking.
He glared at me and left .
The next day after breakfast we were set to train . The training fields were filled with girls and on Alpha Rob's instructions me and Mia took our positions .
" You know Mia all this trouble to find Beta a mate" I murmured .
She stopped and and then almost jumped in excitement ," Really , why didn't you tell me before".
" Oh sorry I forgot " I said sheepishly.
" So what if he doesn't find his mate here too ?" Mia asked worriedly.
" Don't worry Alpha is set on getting him one , he will get a chosen mate then instead of a destined one " I said.
" Okay my fellow ladies, My name is Audrey Blue Miller and this is Mia Davis . we are your trainers fortunately or unfortunately , so give it all , I hope you all learn something new after this session is over , Let's start " I said with a roaring voice . There were some murmurs and gasps when I mentioned my name and Mia look at me,
" Audrey Blue Miller?" She said surprised.
" Yeah Mom is from around here . Luna Ayla told me yesterday. I will tell you the rest when we are free so now focus. " I said expressionlessly.
I could see Alpha Rob , Alpha Bob , Lucas and Brian and lastly Beta David.
Brian gave us a thumbs up and Mia and I took our stances.
" Let me show you guys how Riverdales teach " Mia smirked .
We started showing girls some easy , basic self- defence moves. Both Alphas weren't making it obvious as they passed near each girl along with beta David.
Lucas' pov:-
" David this your chance man , take a good look , maybe your wolf will recognize them as mates . Shake hands with them if possible " I nudged David .
" Huh , h-h yes yes " he said lost somewhere .
David's eyes were focused in one direction i-e on Audrey . He was barely paying any attention to anyone else . Oh Goddess ! What is he doing ?.
It was long, hard session but I could see everyone was hyped up to learn .
"It's enough for today Mia, Audrey . These girls are new can't handle that much in one day " Alpha Bob said smiling and they both stepped down.
"Well it wasn't as boring as I thought it would be . Now I know why mom enjoys her job job as a trainer" Audrey chuckled .
" Wanna take over your mom's position in future " My dad said seriously.
" W-e-ll I w-ould like to but n-ot now , thanks Alpha" Audrey said nervously.
" I was just kidding , good work Mia ,Audrey . You guys are free now. David come with me , " my dad left with David.
" You guys wanna get something to eat " Brian asked us .
" Hell yeah I am starving " Audrey said .
" Good idea " Mia chuckled.
" Then what are we waiting for , let's go , Lucas , Mia , Audrey " Brian said swinging his car keys.
