It had been a few days and Kotora had not return, nor had she contacted the king or queen.
Her majesty paced back and fourth as she panicked, it was very unlike her to not make any sort of contact . She knew it wouldn't be too long until the prince himself found out that his beloved was missing..
"Honey" Her hands placed on his shoulder as the king sat in his throne. "Something isn't right.. she should have been back by now.." His hand placed over hers as he stare at her "I know.."

She had all the information she needed on King James, which was he was in fact trying to take the prince hostage to try and get the king and queen to surrender.. with all the evidence she needed she headed back home.. but little did she know that someone was following behind her.

Another day passed and Kotora had finally return to the castle and to be met with a super pissed off prince. His aura was no longer his normal one, but a dark that out lined his body with wings that were twice his size as he yelled. His parents stood not to far away trying to calm him down.
Getting off her horse, she dumped her bag on the ground, coughing. The atmosphere was very different from her homeland, it was very warm and sunny, while where King James was it was snowy, and very cold.
Had she been running off of very few hours of sleep she about fell only to be caught in warm arms. "Tora" He said holding her close to his chest. Their eyes met and his cold black ones soon changed to his beautiful yellowish-green ones.
"Kotora!" The Queens steps could be heard as she ran across the courtyard to meet her. She noticed the color in her face had changed, and her body was on fire. "Kohta, take her to her room"

His dark aura was gone, though he was pacing back and fourth as the doctor checked her out
"I can't believe you left without me! You could have been killed damnit!" His voice rose as a knock came from behind him
His eyes met his parents as they nodded and the doctor left.
"Your highness" trying to sit up so she could bow, the king lifted her head so she could see them "No need" He said. His wife sat at the foot of the bed as she watched her son continued to pace.
"Before I forget, the mission" She coughed, holding her chest "King James plans to take Kohta hostage and use him to their advantage-"
"That won't happen" His eyes flickered red as he stare at the young girl in bed "there isn't a soul in this world that can take me. Besides even if somehow, some way there was, I wouldn't go down without a fight."
"Are you done ?" Her voice was dry as her golden eyes met his red ones that soon changed back to normal.. his love for her was something so unreal.
"Anyways" coughing again "I wasn't able to get dates, because I didn't want to over stay and them get suspension.. though if I'm correct, and they plan on trying to take him, they will most likely attack at this ball that you have planned in a few months."
The king and queen looked each other in the eyes as they nodded. "Kotora when you are feeling better please come see me" His majesty waved goodbye as him and his wife left.
"I'm mad at you" He hissed as he sat next to her.
"I knew you would, plus I couldn't take you with me, you'd ruin everything for me." He didn't look over at her to know she was worried for his well being.
"I'm sorry Kohta, besides you need to be here with your kingdom." He grabbed her hand, pulling her into his arms
"Don't you dare run off without telling me damnit. Do you know how worried I was? If you didn't come home today I was going to hunt for you" His fingers ran through her dark locks as he held the girl in his arms.
"Kohta.. please.." Her heart was doing flips in every direction as he spoke those words.. she wanted to love him, she wanted to be with him... but she couldnt.. "leave.." Pushing herself away from him she rolled to the opposite side, covering her face.
