Chapter 10 - Gigant Gate “ Marcus”,

" Well, now that you mentioned it, we have been getting our mail mixed up with the Fourth nighters. It's strange how the post office keeps on making such crucial mistakes", Sarah said.

Itarogon stopped to think... I really didn't careless about what he did, but for some reason and to some extent everything about the mail felt pretty off.

" Hey guys why don't we head over to the post office. Dad's package can wait", I said.

Present

The blast was dreadful and completely unexpected. With my chest, clothes and neck burnt, my chances of surviving were limited.

The loud rumbling sounds the Beast At made got louder. Completely uninjured it walked out of the smoke, I realized that ' if I don't move I'll be it's lunch'.

To my surprise, resting a few feet away from were I laid was a pretty old wooden cabin. With the mindset of there being something I could use to fight back... I got to my feet, sucked in the pain and ran towards it.

Charging towards the door at full steam, I broke though the weakened wood. Finally obtaining some cover, I scanned the room for anything that looked useful... then something very unusual fell out of my burnt pocket. It was a small leather covered note book with inscription: ITAROGON on the cover.

My heart beat with rage!

To think that good for nothing know it all, would even try to save my butt hundreds of miles away.

DAMN YOU ITAROGON!

The blood in my veins felt a charge of envoy towards him, the ground around me glowed with a green splint before a plant sprouted out of the floor. I herd a voice Whispering in my head telling me to grab it ... with not even a second thought I held the planet's steam and it morphined into a green glowing battle Axe.

....

In my hands was a weapon that could only be described as a fragment of Divine power. The Beast-at locked it's sight on the cabin, ready blow it sky high.

With so much power flowing through me the At was nothing more than an insect... I gripped the Axe tightly and it's power boosted my movements, so much that within a blink of an eye I had my foot suppressing the Beast-at's head onto the ground.

" Poor helpless being, you are nothing compared to me, you should be bowing in my presence", I said to the Beast-at.

Completely at the mercy you my perfect new upgrade, the Beast-at was now as loyal to me as a domesticated animal.

Then something about the air around me felt off, from a distance six Armadillats slowly approached me. They didn't seem to be phased at the fact that I held such a divine weapon.

So as an attempt to show off our difference in power, I slashed the Axe in their direction causing a green wave of life energy, wich forced plant roots out of the ground that rushed after the pack of Armadillats.

They all compressed there charge, before an leashing an incredibly powerful sonic blast. The roots were destroyed by the sound and it was also strong enough to push me backwards.

The six Armadillats were out for blood, they rushed after me at full seed. I needed a plan, fast... while they rushed me, I called out " Beast-at protect me ".

Rampaging towards the Armadillat, the Beast-at focused all it's charge in it's mouth.
