Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Leia grew up thinking everyone is equal. That is pretty much true in her society, but fate has a twisted way of getting to everyone.

"Jess, what are you doing?" Leia asked curiously. "Don't worry about it Leia, it's not important!" Jess replied. Jess was always one for science, she said she could never love someone with a dull mind that doesn't reach into the chemical and mathematical boundaries of the world. That's why she fell for Peter the town scientist, he doesn't relatively like her per say because she always questions his hypothesis'. She tried to get a job to help maman get back on her feet, well tried was a way to put it. Leia was always wondering why, it wasn't her maman.

Leia and Jess were the bestest of friends you could ever see in this little town of Celest. They always had sleepovers and were happy until Jess' father fell in love with maman. Their friendship completely fell apart but was pieced back together by the bonds of sisterhood.

Leia was in love with the thought of Prince Charles and he was in live with the thought of king. There was a ball coming up to see who was going to rule with Charles as Queen of Celest and Leia couldn't be anymore ecstatic. 'what if he chooses me? oh how I would love that.' Leia fawned over her thoughts.

Jess helped Leia pick out the perfect dress and plan out the perfect dance to win Charles over.

The girls constantly thought that what if she wasn't enough. Leia was gorgeous in the eyes of everyone who was blind.

With the judges being society Jess took the prettier side of the friendship but that didn't matter in Jess' eyes Leia was the prettiest girl ever her laugh was contagious, her dance was elegant, everything about her was perfect. It didn't matter to Leia what people thought about her she thought she was elegant and that's all that matters the way her brown rimmed-blue eyes contrasted with her bright red hair and her medium sized nose went so well with her pouty pink lips and her freckles that stretched ear to ear all over her face.

Jess was considered pretty because she was normal. Blue eyes, blonde hair, and perfect facial features that were sized just right.

Maman told the girls always to not turn their backs on eachother but she then turned her back on all when James died. She was hopelessly in love with James and wouldn't admit it.

An envelope came addressed to the two girls later in the day.

Could this envelope steady or ruin a family?
