Chapter 29 - Chapter Twenty Eight

SARAH'S POV

It's Saturday morning and I am getting ready to go to the adress on the letter I have recieved last time.

Standing in my whole body mirror I fixed my dress and my hair.

"*Yawn*, hey where are you going?"....Lesley asked, oh right?

Forgot she's living here ALREADY.

"RJG Corp."...I answered grabbing my coat. "Where is that?"...she asled again.

"Y street"...I said and she nods grabbing her coffee to take a sip on it.

"Should I go with you?"....she presented herself. "No it's okay Lesley"...I assured her.

"Okay but whenever somethings off remember to call me"...she advices so I nod at her nagging.

"Okay, I'm going now, if you're going out turn off the appliances and---"...she cutted me off again.

"And lock the door"...she added and I give her a small smile curves on my lips. "Alright, I'm really going"....I said and bid goodbye to her.

Reaching the bus station, I waited for a bus to come.

When one stops in front of me, I stood up and walked in. Scanning my wllaetfor payment.

And as usual I will find a single seat at the back but lucky me THERE'S NONE.

So I have no choice but to sit beside that hoodie man at the back too.

Riding the bus for whole 10 mins. I reached Y street.

After I walked out the bus doors automatically closes and there I saw a Big Capitalized letters of RJG Corp.

It's a super huge building. Full of securities.

Their interior designs are also very beautiful, feels like I am walking on a museum.

Walking a bit more I saw the front desk and ask the woman sitting there.

"Goodmorning Ma'am, how may I help you?"...she greeted and asked.

"I am looking for Mr. Barry, he sent me a letter"...I said.

"Are you Ms. Johnson?"...she seems surprised but in a very mannered one. "Yes"...I answered politely.

"Okay, I'll just call his office to inform him, please sit there for awhile"....she said pointing the couch near the the windows.

Watching her as she make a call I look around the building and still mesmerized by how the designs are so familliar to my taste of colors and designs.

"Miss Johnson"...she called so I turned to her. "Yes"

"Mr. Barry told me to bring you to his office, Shall we proceed?"....she said.

"Ah..yes"...I said following behind her as she lead the way to the elevator.

While we were in the elevator the lady stood infron me while I stood behind her.

We both kept quiet and waited for the elevator to reach to the floor we're heading.

As it hits the floor level the doors automatically began to open as we both head out.

Walking on the hallway I can see few people walking with a document on they're hand. Pretty busy..hmm

A few more walks we reach a single door at the end of the hallway.

She knocked first.

Knock.knock

"Come in"....It must be him who spoke.

Opening the door we entered the office and I saw a man, sitting on an office chair faced sideward.

Slowly turning his chair he saw me and I saw him.

"Hi Ms. Johnson"....he greeted and stood up on his chair to get a handshake. I hesitated at first but I slowly stretched my hand to accept it.

"You can leave us now"...he instructed and invited me to sit so I sat on one of the couch on his office while he make a coffee.

"So Mr. Barry, how d-do you know my parents?"...I got straight to the point, besides it's the reason why I came here.

"Don't you remember me?"....he asked. Mr. Barry is a bit old and has glasses on. I bet he is on his 50's.

"I don't so please state why you know them"....I said again.

"Calm down Sarah, It's true that I know your parents, can't you remember that your dad owns this company?"....he asked. I was shocked.

I know dad owns a company but I didn't even know that it is RJG

"W-what?!"....I almost whispered. Why didn't I know?

"Yes, and it took me years to find you, when you're just near the place"...he said apologetically.

"The reason I called you here was because I wanted to give you the letter and the documents they left just for you"....he said.

Just then he got a box and landed it on the table.

"What's this?"....I asked.

"Open it when you get home, and come back here when you've opened it okay?"....he said so I have no choice but to nod at what he said.

"Can't I read it here or something?"..I insosted but he shook his head.

"It's best if you read it at home"...he said.

"Okay"....I said.

After that conversation I exited myself and got home holding the box he gave me.

When I got home I noticed that Lesley was out so I proceeded first at my room and locked it.

I didn't get change either instead I sat on my bed and start looking in the box.

First I saw documents so I laid them down the bed and began unpacking other papers.

Then on the last one I saw an envelope. There are two of them.

There is a white and blue envelope.

But I get first the white one, then I realized that it was a letter.

Slowly pulling out the white paper, I started to unfold it and read from it.

To my dearest Sarah,

Hi sweetheart? It's mom, I just wanna know how you're doing know, and I know if you're reading this now it means that Barry succesfully found you. And we're gone, but I just wanted you to know dear that we still love you the most even if we were gone. I want you to stay strong okay? It's better if you take care of yourself. I know it's gonna be hard without us. You'll feel pain but please dear don't, I want you to be happy and have a happy life. I know it's gonna be not as hapoy when you celebrated your birthday with us but It's gonna be okay dear, I hope you have a bunch of friends now, hmm, I love you Sarah, Your father and I love you.

Love,

Mom

Reading those last wprds broke me to tears that it still hurts so much.

Sobbing in the room, I'm still holding the paper with mom's writing.

Calming myself down, I began to stop, so I grabbetmd next the blue envelop.

From the outside it seemed thick, so I opened it inside.

One by one I found 7 credit cards. Jsut then I saw another letter so I opened it.

To my baby girl,

Hey baby girl! It's dad. How are you doing? I hope you're okay baby girl. You see those credit cards your mom and I got your saved money all in there but of course I added some. So spend it wisely okay, but don't worry it won't get empty so easy. I know you're not gonna like it that we saved money for you but I don't want you to end up om streets. I love you baby girl. We might be gone but we still love you the most, me and your Mom. And right there I've attched the documents as well as my will there. I love you baby..

Love,

Dad

Now that I've read both letters, I feel even more suffocated.

I cried and cried until I can no longer open my eyes.

Just then I remember the last words on dad's letter.

Right there on the bed I found the documents and grabbed it.

"What is this?"...I ask to my self and right there I saw a white bond paper with his signature.

It's right, it's his will.

It says that.

My will was to be able to get all of my ownership be transferred under my daughter's name.

To be continued.....
