The screams were defeaning,
And the sight to pair it off, even more heart-wrenching.
It was the perfect mixture of horror for the elder angel,
Who had her heart torn to shreds.
It was not what she had envisioned to happen after another thousand years,
For Lucifer not to surrender, and further cause more fears.
And so, Hanah could only purse her lips as she held her wounded arm,
Her allies looked at her with worry,
But she was more concerned of other's harm.
She could...read hearts.
And saw the fleeting lights-
of hope in her brothers' chests,
The enemy were just as eager,
And no one dares give less.
In frustration, Hanah couldn't help but shiver and cry.
It was all too much, she have bid too many goodbyes.
She then blamed herself for being too soft on young Lucifer,
Had she somehow made a mistake, in honing that once young boy?
God had plans, for sure.
But...Hanah couldn't help but wonder,
Of what purpose does this tiring war serve?
Why can't they just win and get it over?
She would have stopped flapping her wings that point,
Stopped hoping for a great future,
But she felt a light thug in her heart,
And with it, a soft voice, soothing,
making her calm.
The whisper told her to remain strong,
And remind such to her sisters and brothers.
And thus when almost everyone else below her felt too weak,
She decided to do what was ordered, and speak.
"Listen to all! My dear siblings!
I know this fight, had been exhausting!
But we should not falter, nor show our weakness!
Let's sing a song! To lift up our spirits!
Let's sing hymn 45! Shall we?"
She yelled with her might, and the angels agreed.
Together, they sung the song loudly,
Which shocked the side of the enemy.
It awoken the spirits in many,
and touched the hearts of all bodies.
"Listen my brothers and sisters..
We are strong, when we are one...
Together, we will fight the devils,
Who dare trample these lands!
Listen my brothers and sisters!
The devil may cause us harm!
But so long as we are one,
God will never leave our side!
The devils may be as cunning,
The devils may be hardworking,
But so long as we know our strength,
We will never surrender and beg!
We are strong, because we're united!
We are loved, because we're obedient!
We are blessed because we are fighting-
in the glory of the Lord!
So righteous! Inspiring!
So don't let our hearts falter and break apart!
Don't let their words and hands, make our hopes depart!
We may be exhausted from the chaos the demons make,
But it isn't us, who will end in ashes and break.
We are of God! Of God! Of God!
We wouldn't easily fall apart!
We are of God! Of God! Of God!
We have been enduring since the very start!
No sweat and tears will be wasted,
For every sacrifice will be rewarded,
And so long as we think in one judgement,
Our hardwork will never be forgotten!"
They sung on and on,
Reminding themselves who they're fighting for.
Even the archangels felt their cheeks become wet,
Being reminded of why they existed.
Michael quickly pushed the arrows back to Lucifer,
With a mighty flap of his wings, that shove them all over.
Still, the demon lord seemed to be expecting the result,
As he quickly dodged every arrow,
with ease and precision.
"Is that all you can do? You old fart?"
Lucifer teased him, and mocked his attack.
His raven-black wings then appeared from his, back,
And after the michievous grin of his,
They all grew pair of eyes.
"I've missed this, Michael, Raphael...
Fighting...fighting till one drops dead.
Ah, and now, it will finally happen.
I can finally take your heads..."
...
Meanwhile, Haborym was struggling to get the monsters away from Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.
They were far too big and far too fast that some get away.
Gabriel couldn't help but complain,
After all, they already had their hands occupied at the moment.
The new archangel then sighed,
Knowing that he won't have much time.
Even with Barachiel's hourglass ability,
Azazel's experiments were still too fast,
and moved with such agility.
Gabriel was quickly thrown unto the soil with such force,
That it took him 2 full minutes to get up.
He felt his wings crunch when it hit the land,
But did not say a word, and just quickly stand.
He kept singing on the back of his mind,
As he keeps hearing the other angels chant as one.
Gabriel continued to protect his brothers' back,
Despite his own pain, and already peeled palms.
Seeing the determination of his ally,
Haborym couldn't help but feel inspired.
He then quickly swallowed the blood he formed on his throat,
And decided to do what he just saw.
Before he could move however,
A flying monster swooped.
And thus, he was taken above, so high,
And without Gabriel's blast,
He would have surely died.
He was two seconds close to being mawled alive,
Already seeing the monster's teeth it used to chew and bite.
But after the blast bore holes on the monster's wings,
Haborym was then finally freed.
"Will you be careful and not get killed??!"
The once patient angel quickly lost his chill.
Haborym then flew down and saw no other option.
It may be such a risk, but doing nothing would mean failure to his mission.
He thought back to his meaningless purpose back then,
But before he could think further, he shook his head.
"Not now Haborym..it's not the time to reminisce."
He then, reminded himself.
As the monsters kept charging,
Never afraid to try and fight him,
Haborym closed his eyes,
Making Gabriel yell,
"What on earth are you doing?!"
Haborym remained calm despite the deafening noise of screams, explosions and madness.
He quickly spread his wings, and so are his hands, all the way to his fingertips.
Just then, even Humility stopped, feeling the blinding aura emitted by him,
His purple eyes widened,
seeing a large black thing,
emerged from his wings.
"The...the ability of Haborym...
He...he perfected it."
Humility couldn't help but stare as he tried to dodge Eligorr's clones the same.
And judging from the enemy's reaction, he was equally impressed.
The original Eligorr stopped for a moment to observe,
As Lluming planned to take the moment and surged.
Eligorr was taken by surprise when Lluming bravely threw him his pole,
Which had successfully tore his elbow.
The demon cursed under his breath and told himself to focus,
But the aura on his side, was too big to just ignore.
"How could...how could he have such powers?"
...
Haborym smiled, feeling his illusion, blend with reality.
It was, by far, his most successful attempt in blending it.
He then quickly looked at the monsters, with dead-fierce eyes,
Making the monsters wonder, if it's time to attack.
They did so regardless, despite the aura screaming danger,
And when they ran towards him,
the black smoke turned to pincers.
Haborym quickly controlled it to hit the ground,
Boring holes all around.
The illusion so realistic, it seemed real even to Gabriel's eyes-
Then made the monsters fall, despite many tries.
They attempted to climb up,
To dodge the appearing holes,
But none of them escaped-
All those who approached.
Haborym felt his nose bleed,
And thus knew he need to save more before he pass out,
But before he could fall from fatigue,
Was caught by Gabriel,
"You're weak."
Haborym only smiled and tried to think of another way,
"Heh, maybe I need to trick myself into believing I'm not."
"That was impressive, but don't do such again.
We need you alive, so you need to rest.
You shouldn't use illusions as powerful as that,
Try to take it easy-"
"But Gabriel, this is war."
The angel sighed and looked at his brothers,
Who were still busy, fighting off Lucifer.
"If we want to win, we have to put our lives on the line,"
Haborym said, as Gabriel couldn't think of a reply.
Haborym then stood up on his own,
His legs shaking, but telling himself not to fall.
"I don't care if I drain myself to the core,
I just need to win...to serve my purpose,
so...fight on."
...
Ken felt his chest burn from the quick attacks Belphegor had gave,
And for a lazy demon, he sure was fast as hell.
Thinking back, Sellena hadn't mentioned a solid weakness,
Since...it could be covered by his collection of extracted nightmares.
Still, how strong could this demon really be?
How can one demon lord...make such a different reality?
This must be...some sort of illusion he could break out to,
Were they both sleeping? What should he do?
Belphegor could only rejoice seeing the hesitation in Ken's body movements,
"Why? Can't handle the mess?"
Ken shook his head,
"I'll figure out a way."
"Oh, I'd like to see you try, little boy,
But I warn you, I can cover most of my flaws.
I already extracted a lot of nightmares,
And once I used most of them unto you,
you'd never escape in this plane.
You'll die as you should."
Ken at that point, then smiled at his statement,
And the demon again wondered why he was so fearless.
Ken's eyes showed no concern for himself,
Only thinking about killing him, and nothing else.
"Only a dead person would care that less.
Why aren't you any bit scared?"
Belphegor asked, as he readied his hands,
But Ken just wouldn't answer,
Which made the demon further mad.
"You're as arrogant as God."
