Ken fell down for a moment,
As the pain felt too cruel.
His gaze was then occupied,
By the pieces of the worm that slowly began to rise.
And soon as he saw them morph to a new being,
He remembered his educator's teaching.
Most worms cannot be killed by splitting it in parts,
Since they'd regrow soon, and are able to heal fast.
For a moment, Ken thought he was screwed,
As only salt, could kill it true.
And looking at the weapon he have,
It couldn't do anything to it, but help it divide.
Slashing the enemy won't help at all, would it?
And Ken's blast itself, isn't big enough to burn the beast completely.
The hero sighs, as his options are running out quickly,
And if he dare falters, it would be a clear win to the enemy.
…
Gabriel swore he could see his life flash before his eyes,
Knowing well, he couldn't step back from the beckoning light.
His mouth parted, as he think of what he had accomplished so far,
Was it enough? He was almost giving in. There wasn't a chance to survive.
Just as when he felt hopeless,
He saw something fast, on his opponent's arm, hit.
He realized that the weapon were pieces of ice,
And when he looked at his saviour, he couldn't help but smile.
"Jegudiel!" He could almost cry.
Seeing him in flesh, had gave him a surprise.
Mammon on the other hand, couldn't help but feel tingly.
And angered he had not sensed their presence,
He ought of revenge quickly.
He was about to move, when he felt a wave of water push him down.
The abilities were not too familiar, so it made him wonder how.
The ever composed Dawn, seemed to sense the fear of his opponent.
"You seem to not like water, is it your very weakness?"
Mammon was about to rush after him,
When he felt Michael's ray burn his skin.
His wounds bled so much that keeping the pain unheard posed as a challenge.
But for the sake of his pride, he remained silent.
"I have memories that do not belong to me,
Glimpses, of my father's abilities.
If I could get closer, to that enemy..
Trust that I could kill him efficiently."
Dawn whispered to Jegudiel, nonchalantly,
His eyes not showing what he's truly feeling.
Jegudiel felt amazed that despite gaining his emotions,
Dawn reacts so calm, even with the enemy in question.
"He is too fast, it may be too risky to send you there,
Just tell me your plan. I'll try it myself."
"You are not understanding, only I could do this.
I could hear a voice in my head, and what he chants is my name.
Trust me that I bring him down.
Like my father, all demon lords should drown."
Michael's stamina soon lowered,
After trying to stop Mammon from going forth.
"I will not let you, touch Dawn!"
Until his position was soon distrupted,
"Not for long…"
Gabriel tried to land another hit,
Until he felt cold hands, touch his skin.
"Dawn? You should be staying in the back,
You're not supposed to be on the frontline-
Or you might die!"
"I need you to protect me on the right side,
Jegudiel on the left.
If I get to Mammon quickly,
This bloody fight will end."
Gabriel was unsure whether to let the young angel do as he please,
But since none of the plans they have seemed to succeed,
He must give him a shot,
And see if it would bring them victory.
And so, they quickly charged altogether,
Making Michael look at them with admiration.
A good sense of pride filled his chest,
Knowing that his allies are all giving their best.
Mammon gritted his teeth,
Knowing he can't finish Michael as he please.
His back was left exposed on whatever the angels are planning,
So he was quick to turn, all arms ready for grabbing.
Stacy yelled at Mammon to run,
Knowing that the enemies may have a brilliant plan.
But the demon does not believe that he could be harmed,
Since their fight had already taken hours.
"I destroy everything I touch.
Let them come at me, and I'll melt them all too."
"Idiot! Don't underestimate your opponents!
What if they really could?! And you don't have a single clue!"
Asmodeus pushed the woman down,
Rubbing her face on the ground.
"Shut up or I'll kill you for real,"
Asmodeus said irritated, while Sellena told him to calm his feels.
Lluming quickly aided Michael up,
As both of them watched, how the plan would end up.
Sellena feared the worst, yet hoped it would go well,
Since all of them are already tired,
And still, Mammon, was far from dead.
Mammon thought of his son,
And recalled his last words, a wish he would change.
But how could he? When he felt nothing but rage,
Pure hatred, pure wrath, that his family's always estranged.
"I haven't made you pay before,
But this time, I'll make you all... pay double."
Mammon ran, the fastest his feet are able,
And with the determination he has, the archangels quadripled their efforts.
Sellena casted flying discs, helping Mammon not land a hit,
While Asmodeus used his extra hand, to cover Mammon's arms in chains.
As the fight ensues, with him recieving strikes here and there,
Mammon felt so alone...thinking that the fight was unfair.
He had lost all he hold dear, and yet he was fighting like he actually has something to lose,
He felt his eyes become watery,
Knowing that heaven won't pity him too.
Michael's hit soon landed in his torso,
Making him hiss in so much pain.
And with a wound that big and open,
Dawn couldn't wait to begin.
He jumped, as high as he could,
As Jegudiel and Gabriel secure his open positions.
Mammon was still distracted by the never-ending offenses,
So he felt all but shocked,
when Dawn jumped towards him,
He was unfortunately...unprepared.
Mammon was about to touch Dawn,
Until he felt his body stiffen.
The angel grinned at him michievously,
"Apologize now, for you have not much time left."
Mammon looked at his wounds, now infested-
With ice particles, spreading so swift.
It was one of Leviathan's specialty,
But out of fear and lack of creativity,
He had never challenged any of them,
And thus, Mammon had never expected...
It would be the one to end his days.
Mammon... felt confused,
Utterly, speechless.
How could a young angel,
Take such a bold risk,
And make it happen?
He looked at everyone,
Eyes wondering, asking,
"How could you do this to me?
I have none left, and you take my life from me.
How could you take all I ever loved?"
"Don't ask things you've taken yourself.
You betrayed your God. You betrayed your brothers,
You endangered your family's souls,
And we just saved them from more chaos."
Gabriel spoke, eyes not glistening from a single tear.
Asmodeus on the other hand,
felt his chest tighten, seeing his brother die.
He remained silent all throughout,
Not wanting to show weakness,
Or pity somehow.
"You're still monsters! You killed them mercilessly."
"You have been warned countless times,
but you do not take us seriously.
What death do you want them to have?
When they turn into demons, they'll no longer belong to God.
Now tell me, is what you plan for them,
truly out of love?" Gabriel continued to reply,
As Mammon felt his mouth tighten shut.
The burning gold on his body had completely turned to ice,
And he could not even move a single finger,
nor even move his eyes.
He looked at them all, and feared that he could do nothing,
It was truly death huh? How pitiful he looks,
with no one else to defend him.
Asmodeus soon appeared in his vision,
With his eyes showing nothing but concern.
"Apologize now, perhaps you will be forgiven!
Do this for your son, don't you want to be reunited?"
Mammon's eyes suddenly released a single tear,
That turned to gold, the moment it touched his cheek.
He looked at the angels, and thought if he was truly wrong.
But his mouth was still frozen, and he couldn't utter a word.
Dawn looked at him, wondering if the archangels are okay,
But before he could ask them, he heard them snif and wipe their tears away.
Gabriel's facade soon broke, and his eyes showed the most tears.
"You should have followed our warning! It didn't have to end like this!"
Mammon couldn't help but feel a bit guilty,
Knowing that despite their feud, the angels still love him.
He cannot fathom how such love exist.
Despite his countless wrongs,
He was still deemed as family.
Michael held Mammon's hand,
Gabriel did to his other.
Jegudiel to his third,
And Lluming on his fourth.
They all closed their eyes, as if praying,
And the scene itself, touched him.
No one had ever dared to hold his hand before,
No one did, since the curse.
And too see them all gathered together,
Made his heart almost burst.
For once, he felt satisfied.
Like he've won...the biggest prize.
He closed his eyes and started dreaming,
Not of a throne of gold, but of meeting his son,
embracing.
He took his last breath,
And just like those he used to touch,
His remains turned to gold,
Burning, shining, melting,
Until nothing was left.
The archangels then thought that they could breathe for once,
But their hopes quickly shattered when they heard someone call out.
Lluming's eyes widened in pure shock,
Sensing that his most dreaded enemy had finally come back...
