Chapter 153 - Chapter 153: NO ROOM FOR MISTAKES

Sellena was very upset not seeing the particular maid for two days straight,

Oh, what may have happened to her? Sellena could barely wait.

After all, she has the same eyes as someone who looked brave.

Her voice was not timid and fearing, different from the rest.

She was about to lose hope ever finding someone to trust,

Until the door opened when for maids she had asked.

The maid was there, smiling and ready,

But Sellena felt sadness, when she saw her bruised body.

Now she was guessing what may have happened,

She was used, and undeniably assaulted.

Her fear and trauma that happened in the past,

Played in her mind, vivid and fast.

She felt pity and told the maid to rest,

Even though 155 refused at first,

wanting to impress.

She thought Sellena was being half-hearted,

But it was surprising to see,

The real reason why a lot of maids she invited.

She wanted them not to do any type of work as long as they were in her room,

She wanted them to rest, to talk to, to smile.

And for a moment, 155 was about to cry,

Such kindness felt foreign, too good to be true,

Something she can't stand.

They laugh, they sing, they braid each other's hair,

As Sellena taught them to read the books, she had requested for herself.

They felt at awe, as they were now aware what it means.

But Sellena noticed 155 was not interested, so she was aware she could read.

Truly, she felt different among others.

She looks...wiser, and older.

She wondered who 155, Ama, truly was.

What could have been, this maid's past.

"This one is a long paragraph, you can practice reading it,"

Sellena suggested, in a tone irritatingly sweet.

155 bit her lips,

She was filled with pure envy, and jealousy.

155 wanted to believe she was fake, wasn't genuine,

That there's a big favor waiting for them as they trust her deeper,

After all, it's what happened between her and Lucifer.

But Lucifer was not the saviour she envisioned.

Sellena was done braiding the other maids,

But noticed that 155 was almost out in a daze.

She inspected the woman, she had very short hair,

So she thought of just giving her a simple pigtail.

The maid felt embarrassed after seeing the result,

She looks way too younger.

She looked innocent, and pure,

Something that made the woman even sadder.

"What's wrong? You look so gloomy,"

Sellena asked, her face tainted with worry,

That made the maid's blood boil hot,

How can she? When she wanted to be her so bad.

With Sellena's power, she could definitely pass through Lucifer's bratty wives,

Dress herself with pretty clothes, and perhaps even genuinely smile.

Asmodeus was one of the richest demons,

And known to lavish wealth to those he plays with after.

If only Asmodeus was the demon who tricked 155,

Maybe she would have saved herself a bit more pride.

Doesn't matter if she loves the guy,

She wanted nothing to do with this fruitless labor all her life.

"Nothing's the matter, I was just admiring how beautiful you look,"

"But your eyes look saddened, you can tell me the truth."

Hah. The truth, huh? That word barely anyone shares to her.

No, thank you. She won't tell herself no more.

The last time she told her vulnerabilities,

She was taken in by a Demon Prince.

Forced to be cursed with immortality,

Just so she could relieve his wanted fantasies.

No...she won't do it again.

She would look at everyone as tools the way they did to her.

Lucifer, Satan, Sellena, Haborym,

They're all tools to her now,

And nothing exceeding what she feels.

Confuse them, use them. Make them care,

Are what her tactics are, to make the games fair.

She'd make everyone pay,

No matter how kind or charming they may look at her way.

155 stopped her lips from cursing at the woman,

(She's so irritating...I can't.)

"I was just thinking of...work,"

"Well just relax and think of this as a day-off."

Sellena was stopping herself from asking if Lucifer did this,

If that was the reason her body was filled with long scratches and a little stitch.

But the woman may feel less of herself,

If she dare remind her of the scars that's been left.

"Don't worry, you'll get your revenge."

Sellena said, in a tone deep as hell.

155 felt chills, seeing she was serious and not even looking at her,

But gazing at the window, perhaps thinking of a free tomorrow.

"We don't belong here." Sellena spoke,

As the maids to her, slowly turned.

They sat there in silence, as they gaze at the moving clouds,

But silence didn't last long,

When Beelzebub knocked at their door.

Sellena opened it as the maids quickly stood,

Beelzebub smiles at her and said that one of her maids had failed a job,

That a maid had broke a very important pot,

That was billions of years older,

"Such bad luck."

Beelzebub's aura was different without Asmodeus,

And perhaps he was starving, the time he went so close.

Sellena could smell the stench of blood and wanted to badly cover her nose,

But Beelzebub passed by her, as if she was a ghost.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt my friend's interest,

I'm just here to collect a debt.

That pot meant a lot to Belphegor,

It was his tribute to Luna,

And had plans of keeping it forever.

He made it exactly seven days after she turned into the moon,

Get it now? How important of a thing you broke this afternoon?

The materials he did while making it was every feather he lost,

And now you broke it and tried to forget it, I suppose?

I...don't usually eat angry,

But since what you did to my friend is unacceptable,

I'll eat you slowly till your tears went dry,

Should have been more careful,

'Cuz there's no second time."

Sellena couldn't do anything as she stood there terrified,

Seeing Beelzebub's back opened wide.

From there sprouted three hungry monsters,

Growling and drooling like their host.

155 thought Sellena would help,

But she was surprised to see she had limits as well.

Sellena was wise enough to know her voice would be useless,

She covered her eyes, as she stood in the corner, speechless.

155 swore she had fun watching the suspect cry and beg,

Telling Sellena to try and convince,

But try as she may, Sellena was scared,

It wasn't Asmo, she doesn't know how to please his rage.

Especially if he did it for the sake of a friend.

(How useless...that Sellena wasn't that cocky after all.

This is boring, I would have liked her at least having some lost.

And even if her trembling body was a sight to behold,

I would have wanted to see something more.)

The maids cry and gathered in the corner,

As the suspect began to beg everyone inside the room,

She threw anything she could,

As she tells Beelzebub to give her a chance too.

The demon dragged her around effortlessly,

As he then broke her legs in a quick snap, making her scream loudly.

She begged and begged, apologized for what felt like hundreds,

"But the pot won't rebuild itself, anyways."

155 whispered to herself,

As she hides her smile and simply stared.

Beelzebub closed the room, and apologized for the ruckus,

But they didn't need to see what happened, to envision the fate that woman suffered.

(Well, that's wild.)

Thought 155.

And by then she was reminded,

That there was no room for mistake.

She felt impatient however,

Knowing that gaining trust is one of the hardest things to master,

But she should try anyways, since Satan made it clear,

She could be punished, have her duty not been fulfilled.

Before the other maids could recover from the scene,

155 walked towards Sellena and asked her how she feels.

Sellena felt bad not being able to stand up,

But 155 assured her that what she did was right.

And though it sickens 155 to socialize with her,

She did everything, and waited until she feels better,

She realized how far vulnerable,

A woman like Sellena was,

Since she seldom tastes discomfort.

That made 155's smile grow wider,

Knowing that the fates this time, were in her favor.

If Sellena would feel dependent and latch on her,

She'd be easier to manipulate and this mission would easily be over.

This time, than Sellena giving her something,

155 promised that tomorrow, she'd have something to bring.

Sellena tells her it's not supposed to be a necessity,

But 155 insisted, "You should have something to remember me."

Sellena's now green eyes looked at her with happiness,

It weirded 155 out a little, since her eyes look hypnotizing,

She stood and gave her a tight squeeze on the hand,

Reassuring that everything would be fine.

But when 155 reaches her room,

She discards her painful worn smile,

As she thinks about using Sellena's power,

To have those who wronged her,

Had a taste of revenge for a while.

"Surely Sellena could do that for a friend...

Surely with my made up excuse, she'd help me right away."

Whispered 155, as she thinks of her plan to persuade.

"No one told me I couldn't have some fun myself..."
