"Sheesh, you're too serious for your own good,
No wonder you don't have a wife,"
"It's my choice not to have one,
And didn't I just told you,
Not to try me?
155 tried her luck and winks,
As Haborym leans closer,
Trapping her on a corner.
His red eyes glowed menace,
As 155 didn't even looked fazed.
She loved this. Loved being noticed,
Even if it's a negative.
So...long, she haven't talked to someone in a long time,
And this, knowing she's effective, fills her pride.
She's no little angel...sometimes, she wonders if her actions and reasons could be comparable of a michievous devil,
Nonetheless, she liked this sight.
Trapped, cornered, reminding her of her first time.
The seducer kissed Haborym without a warning,
Shocking the demon for no one dared to mess with him.
He pushed her away, and she sure did hurt her head,
But it felt satisfying, now seeing the reaction he displays.
This is the biggest emotion she saw him gave,
Well...other than hate.
She laughs and as he was to choke her,
She held his hand, "Does a little girl like me, become that much of a bother?"
Her words mocked him flawlessly,
Making the demon think twice.
So that's what Lucifer wants,
A woman, that never backs down.
Pissed off, he let her go,
Although it damaged his ego.
Such act was truly unforgivable,
But somehow, how was she able?
What was running in her mind?
What was her reason to put such act?
He swear he'd get her back, one way to another,
But now, she's still a bait for Satan to use,
Like he, waiting for orders.
He turns away, red in anger,
As 155 taunts him, "Hurry up if you want more."
He looks at her briefly, hate still vivid in his eyes,
"Oh, I'll come back alright. But I won't be nice."
.
.
.
Asmodeus felt the isolation beating his senses,
As he kept on reading, turning the pages.
He was though...suddenly interrupted,
When he heard a few knocks,
So he opened it,
And there stood the duke of hell.
"A letter, from your dear wife,
Written with care, and a piece of her heart."
Haborym handed out the envelope,
As Asmodeus felt his knees weakened,
How odd.
Just knowing that she remembered him,
Melts him this much,
How weak was he?
Why does he deserve such reward?
He stopped the urge of tearing up,
Knowing that Haborym was still in front.
"Thank you, and...well wait here,"
Asmodeus goes back to his room,
Writing a letter,
with everything he feels."
He then wrote the letter, in a language he knows she understand,
As he gives it back to Haborym, who had waited as he command,
The duke takes the letter, and mellowly bowed down,
"Dear Lord Asmodeus, I think I'll be going now."
The fifth prince of hell was about to dismiss him,
But then noticed that Haborym looks uneasy.
"What's the matter? You look distracted,"
"I...it's nothing my Lord, it's not important at all."
Asmodeus did not think so, as he could tell it's a lie,
And knowing Haborym, he's mostly composed and fine.
What made him like this? Why does he look visibly angry?
"The letter can wait, you know? If there's a problem, you could tell me."
Such act of kindness felt foreign to the demon,
Most of the time he was only called to be summoned.
He wonders if Asmodeus was just looking for companion,
Knowing he can't see his wife yet,
due to his urges that may cause regrettable actions.
"I swear M'Lord it's all right,"
"You're lying to my face, do you think that's right?"
Haborym felt chills, and then knew he has no way of getting out,
So he bowed down, apologized, and no longer denied.
"It's because of a lowly slave, getting on my skin,"
"Why? What happened? Why not just kill him as you please?"
"Well, 'she' is still needed, but she's full of herself,
I swear if she's no longer important, I'd kill her myself."
"I think there's something else.
Knowing you, you won't have that intent just because of a slave being prideful,
If anything, you'd ignore it, so there's something out of the picture.
If you want, you can share it to me, so I'll understand more,
If not, then, I can't help you at all."
Haborym thinks of just keeping it in his chest,
But somehow, the anger is eating him, so he considers his Master's request."
"That brat of a slave is mocking me,
Disrespecting my position, and even if I let her be-
She'd continue to pester me, she even dare laid her lips-
To me without permission, I have hatred for her deep."
Asmodeus laughed at Haborym,
"That's all? That's it? She kissed you and nothing more?"
Haborym was confused, was he not supposed to be upset?
But the demon Lord continued to laugh,
"That's all it gets?"
"But my Lord she-"
"Women are women,
Women knows their strengths,
If she sees it's effective,
Then expect nothing less.
She's teasing you, and I don't know how worse it is,
But just pretend she's not there,"
"And I'm trying my best!"
"Hm, then go to the second option, tease her too,"
"What? That's ridiculous, I refuse,"
"Too bad. Hmm, is she hot?"
Asmo'a voice changed, consumed by lust.
Haborym know what he would suggest next,
But Haborym dare not, touch a thing that he considers filth.
"No, she's ugly. And I don't want anything to do with her,"
"If she's an ugly slave that's prideful, and even dared kiss you,
I doubt you would have let her lived," said Asmodeus.
Haborym rolled his eyes,
Knowing it's somehow true.
But she's only alive,
Because she's still of use.
"Still, I do not find her attractive,
Even for a demon, I deem her manners too low,
It's as if she's unaware she's the one captive,
And such actuation makes my blood boil."
"Ah, calm down, calm down,
Maybe she just likes it? And wants you to lighten up?
But if she gets too far you could ask Lord Lucifer?
Tell him the reason and I bet he'll gladly end her."
Haborym nods his head in agreement,
And before he knew it,
He realized that he still have to feed the ugly pig,
And give the letter, to the wife of the Fifth.
"I'll be going now, Lord Asmodeus,
I'll give this letter, to your darling as fast as I could,"
"Oh, okay, got it. Also, make sure you get your mood fixed."
Haborym felt shivers on his spine,
How can he? When he still is keeping that swine.
He cannot help but wonder just how did he come to pity her?
She has no sense of gratitude, has no modesty, such a monster.
(Women are women...
No, but she's different.
She's so infuriating that I want to kill her so badly,
That...that thing, she doesn't even deserve my pity.)
Just then, he thought of starving her,
Leaving her in the room to punish her.
Haborym smiles at the idea, thinking that it would teach her a lesson,
After all, she should have at least be reminded of her lowly position.
She had no right to complain,
Had no ability to inflict him pain,
Surely, she'd learn to fear Haborym and treat him a little more seriously,
Because what is her nerves made of? Even speaking to him so casually.
She's a very complicated person.
And Haborym dislikes those who cannot easily phatom.
He walks, towards Sellena's room,
Where the maids are humbly waiting, and bowed at his presense as soon.
He smiles behind the mask, these maids at least understands.
And as he knocked,
Sellena came to view, but he noticed her red sore hands.
He dared not question it however,
For if the words slip,
He may get in trouble.
Asmodeus is very protective, and savage when it comes to punishments,
So long as Sellena herself don't mind, to a single soul he won't bother to tell.
Sellena looked tired, but learned the common courtesy to at least bow,
Thinking that if the demons think they're respected, they'd leave her alone as should be.
She was still fighting the urge to frown though, aware of who Haborym is,
He's just as sinful as the other devils, despite his seemingly good manners, he's a monster within.
"Oh, the duke of hell. I greet you,"
Sellena pretended, hoping Haborym didn't knew.
Lucky for her, Haborym was too distracted to care,
Just left her the message, bowed to her and bid farewell.
Haborym then leaves without another word.
As Sellena opens the letter,
Each sentence colored in red so bold.
It smells like blood, mixed with perfume,
How creepy, she thinks, but perhaps it's what the Demon Lords usually use.
'Whose blood could it be?'
She couldn't help but ask herself.
Though happy she recieved a letter,
She had guilt seeping through her chest.
.
.
.
She opened it, and felt very moved,
She read the letter slowly, savoring every word.
It goes on to tell her how much she means to him,
And how gloomy life to him has been.
:
To my now sole wife, I gift you with my love,
Not the only thing I owe, but the only descent thing I could give, and you could have.
I feel terrible, watching the days pass by,
To say I lost love with your absense, will be an obvious lie.
You are the compass, my Northern star,
The only thing keeping me fight such darkness,
That lives free inside my heart.
You may not think too big, of yourself in such a vast world,
But to me, your impact touched me the most.
Without your presense, and your voice that rivals sirens,
Life felt dull, and somewhat meaningless.
Without your small hands, that cups my cheeks,
I feel my eyes water, every day is just so bleak.
Oh, and I have read your letter, it was touching and sweet,
I did not expect this, but I would love if another one I'd recieve.
After this month, when my urges are gone,
I can't wait to see you, and wrap you in my arms.
From your greatest admirer,
Asmodeus
...
Sellena fell to her knees,
Recalling the moment they first meet.
She was now even more determined to save him from this hell.
This man just needed help.
