Lucifer felt his smile become wider,
When the humans began to scatter.
Tired faces, thin and frail,
Most of them went to corners far away.
They, at first hesitate to kill each other,
Until Azazel tells them if they refuse, they'd be slaughtered by monsters.
Still, they refuse to approach one another,
So Azazel thought of another plan to make it all work.
He flew up, his black hair mesmerizing the crowd,
He felt pride in his chest, as he then announced,
"Form two teams, and kill the other down,
If you succeed, you'll be fed, and it's a promise I'd make sure in my heart be bound,"
Since all of them were even barely eating,
They thought that the idea would be worth something.
It's also better if they at least have a team to be on,
It makes the game easier, than simply fighting alone.
The reapers, though aware that they have to wait for the crowd to be fully occupied,
Felt a bit guilty, as they saw the humans divide.
Still, without them letting their guards down,
They cannot make another move, or else their plan would drown.
The humans did form two teams to fight off the other,
They felt more safe, less guilty, of the murder they'd commit after,
They held their weapons, as Azazel gave them time to formulate strategy,
As the demons then anticipated the awaited tradegy.
Knees were shaking as they began talking,
Afraid that they'd die before the new morning,
And though they have weapons, most felt heavy to carry for long,
Fear began to rise, when the devils played their gongs.
How pitiful the sight truly was,
Once mighty, dominating, smart were the humans,
Yet in the end they were merely playthings, animals,
Fought against one another, fighting through their last.
The left group chose to make the first move,
The other were on the defensive, and the slow approach ruined the mood,
Lucifer, whose patience was hanging by a thread,
Sent white arrows, directly above each player's head.
He stood from his seat, as his majestic appearance made them all turn,
"The arrows above you, are quick, dangerous and would burn,
If you don't kill anyone in the next seven minutes,
I'll drop this down, and your skull would split,"
He shot one of the frailest looking player,
Making everyone present, aware of the arrow's danger.
The arrow glowed and quickly aimed at the speed of light,
Splitting the man's head in two, and now everyone else shivered in fright.
Lucifer went back to his seat,
As the reapers were vividly pissed,
And because Satan had sharp eyes and naturally wary,
He spotted someone with a face looking angry.
The reaper felt aware that Satan was watching,
So he countered his expression as he yelled, "Resume fighting!"
Many other demons yelled behind him,
Agreeing that the scene wasn't satisfying.
Satan calmed down, thinking that he was just unsatisfied,
While the reaper felt his heart almost explode when he lied.
He felt a wave of relief as he had fooled the Prince for now,
So next time something irks him, any foul expression he won't then allow.
...
Two men began to charge at each other,
Blood, screams, tears followed after.
Those who saw them fight for their beloved life,
Fought those opposite to them, hoping they'd win the fight.
Memories, rushed to their heads,
Their family, their love ones, inspired them at the verge of death,
And though weak, frail and sleep deprived,
To simply fail and die, both teams denied.
Torn limbs, torn fingers, blind eyes,
The sound of regret, fear and demise.
Just what did they do to deserve this cruel fate?
What did they do? That all they feel is pain and hate.
The dry grounds was soon soaked in red,
As bodies scattered on the floor, half-dead,
In their last moments, it was not their family that's on their minds,
But God, whom they call too as they closed their eyes.
It was too late however, as their hands were tainted by sin,
Asking for forgiveness, when they had hatred in their hearts instilled.
Lucifer felt satisfied as Belphegor yawned,
Beelzebub kept eating, as Leviathan groaned,
Mammon's absence, bothered Asmodeus,
So he began looking at the crowd, as Satan asked, confused.
"You seemed, troubled, what's the matter?"
"Mammon haven't came back yet, and it's quite a bother,"
"He's always thinking about money, isn't he?
I'm sure he's just doing what he does best, and it's not your concern, nor mine,
Just proceed watching and watch your wife,
Drink your wine and watch the fight,"
"This is barely a fight, they're just dying and no one really wins,"
"That's better, if the odds are thin,"
"Hm, but it's starting to bore me as well,"
"It's simply because the first batch is weak as hell,"
Azazel tasked the lower demons to retrieve the dead bodies,
As a new batch came, smelling the scent as their eyes felt heavy.
The stink was so terrible it made their eyes cry,
As they gag to breath air, as new fighters arrive.
Azazel noticed the situation and felt that it may hinder their performance,
But since Lucifer was waiting eagerly, he told the players to advance.
...
Lluming thought that someone may be around,
As he swore he heard, a distinct tapping sound,
Covered by darkness, he walks to Asmo's window,
Where he saw orbs which vividly glow.
He recognized them and opened them quickly,
Feeling ecstastic, as he saw a reaper smile genuinely.
Lluming then saw two birds enter the room,
Transforming into people, faces made visible by the moon.
He was shocked to see that Ken was still alive,
The same guy he saw, now looking much muscular, though missing an eye.
He immediately thought of who among the demons may have caused it,
While Ken began to ask, who he was with.
"I am with Asmodeus and Sellena,
But your other half is in the arena,
You are both needed to make a great change,
Quick, I'll help you look around in this place,"
The reaper quickly denied that they go to the battle field,
Saying that to find Michael was their aim to heed,
"Uriel is going to make a distraction,
We need to hurry, and look for Michael's location,"
"Uriel is here? And what about the others?
One archangel, couldn't simply defeat those monsters,"
"The other archangels made a safe place for the remaining humans,
If they join this fight, then humanity will lose assistance,
Uriel had to rescue the sole chief while also making sure it succeeds,
This plan can go wrong in many ways,
but he hopes to be successful in one at least,"
Lluming sighed and thought of Sellena's safety,
"But that Sellena is always guarded, to have her taken is quite slim,"
"Then we wait until the opportunity is given,
For now, we need to find Michael, to make our odds a bit even,"
Lluming agreed and decided to guide them,
Until he felt, a familiar scent linger in air.
He raises his hand, as he tells them to wait,
As he heard a man hum, in this quiet place.
...
Eligorr was left behind to guard Asmodeus' territory,
As Azazel wanted, to make his suspicions verified immediately.
Lluming, though angry at the lust demon,
Knew how to owe gratitude, so he told the others to follow.
They went to the other way, hoping that whoever the one guarding won't realize their mission,
And while far already, Eligorr still heard that there were steps on the other direction.
He felt confused as he was the only demon supposed to be in this floor,
So he decided to turn around, and look for what this place had in store.
Though dark and such, his mask helped him see clearly,
He passed by Asmo's main room, but no sound came eventually.
He kept walking, and walking, until he felt the same odd feeling,
A distinctive aura, he felt curious for detecting.
"Reveal yourself," He asked as his hands glowed amidst the darkness,
Lluming heard the voice, and felt his heart drop helpless,
He told the others to walk forward, as he wanted confirmation,
So they do what was told, as Lluming went another direction.
He was in a form of a little lizard, as he crawled to the ceiling undetected,
Eligorr felt the aura had gone nearer, and so he prepared,
He was wearing a mask, which pissed Lluming so much, As Eligorr lost patience, and warned to give a blast.
The more he talks, the more Lluming felt he was Eleazar himself,
He felt his fingers trembling, as he thought how did he became part of this pitiful test.
Eleazar deserved peace, deserved rest, deserved respect,
And now his own essence, was disassembled after wreck.
Such thought angered Lluming,
That he barely felt any hate at the enemy his friend is becoming,
In his eyes, he's still the sweet and caring Eleazar,
That he for some reason, lowered his guard.
The lizard slowly approached Eligorr,
As Lluming hopes he notice him like before,
But his presence was quickly ignored,
As Eligorr wondered where the aura was coming from.
He began calling out, as Lluming felt he hadn't even remember him,
Since angels can detect one another, even if their faces switch,
Lluming took a form of a familiar devil, as he is still wary he's not himself,
While Eligorr was just surprised, he heard loud sounding footsteps.
He turned around,
and saw a demon greet him and bow,
He assumed he was Azazel's experiments, as he the odd energy radiate inside him,
Not aware, he was facing a real angel in a demon's skin.
"Who are you, new face?"
Eligorr asked as Lluming's heart raced,
He stopped his expression from saying it all,
Now aware that this wasn't Eleazar no more.
His tone felt rash, felt mean,
And though he and Eleazar share the same mannerisms,
He was not him, he couldn't be,
As the real one would notice Lluming, effortlessly.
Such revelation hurt Lluming a hundred,
As Eligorr walked passed him, and went away,
He crumpled his fists and felt anger instead,
Reminding himself that the real Eleazar is dead.
Determined to avenge his dead friend,
He thought of killing the imposter instead,
And so when Eligorr was unaware,
Lluming shot a blast, as the hybrid was surprised he dared.
