Chapter 80 - Chapter 80: TORTURE SESSION

(Ken's POV)

Raphael tried to shoot her, but the kid seemingly possessed blocked his attack,

Raphael tried and tried again, but it won't hit the woman no matter what.

The kid, then spoke in a voice I barely understand,

And it even gave me chills, when to me, it gave a glance.

Right then, Raphael revealed to stay put as the kid has been in control of 131 powerful demons,

A vessel, for all the powerful assets Azazel could summon,

I doubt we would have moved though, as we're confused and scared of the ongoing situation,

His pitch black eyes, were enough to glue us to our positions.

And then we were stuck, seemingly waiting for our deaths,

As Raphael thinks of a way, to kill the unlikely pest.

The child may have remained looking like it,

But its size grew five times big,

And it surely felt hopeless to think,

But the angels never let us alone, not even for a blink.

I felt myself trembling yet again, as I look at the scene play out,

I felt like shaking, crying even, as my mind was then filled with doubt,

It was easier before, but not so much when the danger is in front,

How can I do this? How can I defend when it's like that?

My mind was wandering off on so many things,

I couldn't even say it, all the emotions this reality brings,

All I know, was that I felt like melting at the sight of it,

From the woman still fighting her urges,

To the demons that kept resisting the angels.

And yet...

I remembered everything I was responsible for the moment I heard people crying,

Men, women, young or old, were all gathered praying,

I felt embarrassed, that I am gifted yet still afraid,

So I tried to awaken my powers, to at least make the demon's damage half paid.

I aimed at the woman, but my knees were shaking,

As Raphael and the other angels, tried to chain the demon child whom the door it kept blocking,

I felt a bit of hope lit upon me, when I see an orb of light formed,

But it soon faded away, when the woman at me stormed,

I felt myself falling on the ground,

as a man in front of me stand.

He screamed as the monster chew him away, while I tried to awaken the powers, but it just won't obey,

I tried and tried again, but it all felt in vain,

My heart won't stop shaking fast, as I felt simply going insane,

I yelled in desperation, and a radiant light came out of my hands,

Killing the woman instantly, as to the floor it painfully land.

I smiled and yet that smile vanished again,

When I see the man bitten, had his conciousness regained,

It smiled and licked his face while hungrily looking at me,

I shot him dead again, but as I was about to breathe in relief,

I saw the kid stare, "I will never let you free,"

My body felt cold, as the angels found it hard to hold,

The kid was so small, yet there was unimaginable power in it that cannot be told,

It yelled, a hundred voices all at once,

As I found it difficult, to stand straight with all my ounce.

I sighed, and focused, but was shattered,

when I hear the angels outside shouting, "We're Overpowered!!!"

Michael sighed, and quickly came down,

As the other archangels, tried to rescue us now.

...

"If we use our full strength, the humans might be harmed,"

"But there's no way for that demon to be disarmed!"

Raphael and Barachiel kept arguing on what to do,

As Jegudiel tried with all his might but flew-

Up to the ceiling, where he felt his wings break slightly,

Injuring him, but never stopping for trying.

The demon child seemed upset,

While the angels kept doing their best,

The people behind me even threw away some things,

Distracting the monster, as Gabriel sliced his back, though it harmed his own wings,

The demon grunted, and fell to the ground,

As Gabriel grunted, stopping his sound,

He looked hurt, and I decided to try again,

To shoot at the beast, to help them all I can.

But it proved to be difficult, as the monster kept moving,

Even more distracting, were the people crying,

I tried to focus, but it felt too much to take,

That out of desperation, I now put myself at stake.

I broke the protection that Michael gave me 'that night',

Awaking the seer's curse, just to get my aim right,

Just then, a thousand images popped in my head,

One of which, was I dropping dead.

I tried to look at the monster, despite the images in my mind,

And just then, the next move it would make, I was able to find,

I aimed my hand, and shot two times,

One for distraction, the other to hit him blind.

It shrieked in pain, as I felt my vision blurrying,

The people quickly ran for their lives, as I felt my conciousness leaving,

The last thing I felt, was a piercing gust of wind,

And me falling to the ground, if not for a hold firm yet benign.

...

I woke up, and saw Robert carrying me,

But soon lost myself again, as I felt the pain killing me,

My eyes, I want so much to pop them out,

As I felt images atop each other, whenever I open them up.

The next things I heard, were but blatant screams,

As I fought the urge, to simply sleep and dream,

But try as I may, I cannot wake myself,

As I fell into a deep slumber, while I hear the sound of bells.

It was a haunting, yet enchanting melody,

Singing sweetly, yet a theme of melancholy,

It made me fall asleep faster, as I forgot what happened next,

All I knew was that...I woke up in a foreign room, feeling perplexed.

It stinks of blood, of corpses rotting,

As I try to look at the objects to try and identify anything,

But nothing felt familiar, and then the music played again,

Every note felt more haunting, as I tried to cry for help.

My hands were tightly tied,

As the fear I kept holding, I can no longer hide,

I cried and prayed, for anything good to happen,

Until I heard heavy steps come, accompanied by the sound of knives, continously being sharpened.

I saw the scenes of agony, that was about to come,

Yet knowing it would be of no use, since I cannot prevent it, with my defenses gone,

I wanted to disappear, to simply die a quick and painless death,

Until I heard him spoke, "Don't even try, for He is deaf,"

It was Azazel, who was now in front of me,

Laughing, smirking, saying, "Finally,"

He showed me the sharp metal objects, and the feathers quite proudly,

"Thanks to the angels' stupidity, I now was able to play my plan out effectively,"

I cried, not knowing what happened to my friends,

I tried to search for the past, although it would hurt my head,

I saw Robert die protecting me, as Stacy was taken eventually,

I saw angels die as others surrendered,

I felt not so sure now, the evil sure felt stronger.

I was alone, in this dark room, with the demon taunting my every move,

I felt confused, lost, not knowing what I should,

I tried to escape, but what more could I really try?

As I see the demon reaching, saying he'd like to take my eyes.

...

Sellena jolted up awake, her dream felt so real,

Asmodeus felt concerned, "What is it that you feel?"

She simply went back to bed, although she felt unmotivated,

"I...dreamed of something, there were people..mostly dead,"

"Do you want me to stay up? We can talk about it,"

"It's fine, you don't have to do it,"

Lluming heard their conversation, and decided to eavesdrop,

But felt taken aback, seeing Asmodeus lay his head on her lap.

("He's just taking advantage of the moment,

I knew it. I knew it. I knew it.)

He tried to fight the urge to take the demon off her,

But Sellena seemed not to mind, as she kept talking, though her pace was faster.

"I'd like to visit the prison cells again, would you mind?"

"Sellena, that's dangerous, with that I'm not fine,"

"I just want to see another human, dear,"

"Ah, now you're calling me dear,"

"I...I just really want to see something,"

"And what is it, my beautiful darling?"

"I felt...like I was...I was told to go there,"

"Then I won't allow you then,"

"And why not?"

"Hah, I'm a demon, an angel's opponent, an adversary of God,

If He told you to go there, I'd be a fool to allow you, am I not?

So you're not going there, you're not going anywhere,"

That's where Sellena was reminded, he's truly a Prince of Hell.

Asmodeus felt like two different people,

One was harsh, selfish, and scary, the other loving and feeble,

It felt confusing at times, if she should be thankful for him or not,

But despite his fierceness, she still knows it was all disguise.

Rather than get upset, she simply smiled at him as she bids him good night,

Making the demon feel confused and flustered, as his conscience fight,

A side of him was soft and fragile for her, while the other kept telling him to resist her,

It felt so challenging, but he'd do anything just so they be together.

She slept, as he took the opportunity to look at her full image,

She was so soft looking, that it felt too hard to control himself to ravage,

He simply kissed her cheek, as he sleeps, not facing her,

Had his heart ablazed, as his lust felt much stronger,

But not wanting to do harm, he tried to keep it, though perhaps not longer.
