Chapter 130 - Episode 128: A SISTER'S DESPAIR

Alice sighed.

Being alone most of the time in her chamber is so...exhaustingly boring.

She used to love it.

Before.

When her brother would always talk about random things, and bring her mortal stuffs so she wouldn't feel 'left out'.

Deltha was a kind hearted brother.

She felt so haunted by the thoughts of her...banishing him because he chose to save a mortal by cheating Death, and even went as far as neglecting his own duties for what he deem as true love.

She had no choice but tell the higher beings to take care of him...to let the archangels do the deed. To banish him.

She wondered if she did the right thing. Or if...if she made a horrible mistake, throwing his kind brother away. Because of love.

Some nights, she would cry.

Some nights, she would degrade her brother for being too selfish.

Some nights, she can't feel anything.

She feels..empty.

Seeing Red, she can't help but compare him and Deltha.

After all, she wouldn't be surprised if one day, Red neglects his duties to be with her fully. Although...she hopes Red won't do the same mistake as Deltha. She hoped that Red won't cheat the system to continue being with her.

Alice wonders if Deltha truly perished.

She wishes he didn't. There's a lot of things she wanted to tell him.

She...she simply misses him. And even muttered to herself that she'd give away her own immortality just to see him again.

Then she laughs. Mocking herself for being weak..

The Divine Empress...

Surely was nothing but lonely despite the great power she holds.

She could never bring him back to her.

The archangels judged him, and what happened to him after...can be anyone's assumption.

ALICE: Why brother...why? Why do you have to be...so dumb?

Suddenly, a sweating Nhairon, face in horror, came and kneeled before her.

He looks terrified.

Alice couldn't help but feel tremendously anxious of the news about to be told.

ALICE: What's the matter? Why do you look so pale?

NHAIRON: He...he's...he's back.

ALICE: Who's back?

NHAIRON: Your brother, Madamme.

ALICE: My...the...the White Prince is back??!

...

Gabby was woken up by a frantic Winter.

He was banging loudly on the door, while she was sure Zefarih was also there, as he was explaining in great speed of what had happened.

ZEFARIH: I told you! It wasn't my fault! I...I came here to fulfill his wish of seeing the sunrise again!

WINTER: Damn you...Humility is going to kill me. He told me to protect them both. Just tell me the truth, you demon!

ZEFARIH: But...but that is the truth!

Gabby opened the door, and was surprised as of why they were both shouting.

GABBY: What happened?

ZEFARIH: I think he's dying.

WINTER: Shut up! Maybe he's not. Tell me Gabby, what medicine do you have?

GABBY: Let me see him first.

Winter led her to Deltha's room, (Gabby's guest room) and there she sees the very pale man gasping for air.

He was running out of flare. Golden orbs floating, as he continues to get wrinklier and wrinklier each second.

GABBY: We have to send him to the divine realm...

WINTER: What??! Are you serious? Are you out of your mind?! I swore to my superiors that I wouldn't spill the secret he's still alive. I won't.

GABBY: He's going to die! Do you understand?!

WINTER: Alice would be angry that Nhairon and the others kept it a secret, they'd blame me!

GABBY: She'd be more upset if her brother dies and we could have done something to prevent it! Just tell them I forced you!

WINTER: I...but...

GABBY: Please! I'm begging you.

She was on the brink of crying, until Winter crumpled his fists and although against it, he finally agrees.

WINTER: Fine. I'll do so.

DELTHA: Please...just let me die.

GABBY: No! I won't let it.

DELTHA: My sister...she'd be sad.

ZEFARIH: Dude, it'll be best if you really get to see her. She's the only one that can fix you right now. No hospital would deal with this...patient with floating orbs around his body. You'd die here.

WINTER: Don't be stubborn, old man. Good thing this mortal cares about you dearly. I will bring you back to the Divine Realm. Stay still.

The lavander haired reaper gently carries him up from the bed. Deltha yelped in pain and cried. He had never felt this bad before. His back felt like breaking in any minute and all he could do was tell them it hurts.

WINTER: Be thankful it hurts because that means you're still alive.

ZEFARIH: Don't speak that way to an old man, you know it really hurts.

Winter rolled his eyes and sighed, he was kind of nervous as to how Nhairon would react if he discovers he had brought a very much alive Deltha back in the Divine Realm.Things might get into chaos.

WINTER: Fine, I'm sorry then, Sir Deltha.

Winter looks back at Gabby, a sharp look.

WINTER: You're coming with us too. Can't risk losing you. Then I'd be double dead.

Gabby looked excited, realizing she might see Red.

WINTER: But you should stay far away from Red . You might get his scent on you. Then the bad guys would still find you.

Winter, after putting Deltha on his back, transforms into a dragon. He gave them both the same unfriendly look and in an annoyed voice informed them to hop on.

WINTER: Hurry up.

GABBY: Okay!

ZEFARIH: I...uh, fine.

Winter gives a deep sigh, and in a flash, flew up the Realm of Divine Souls.

...

(Divine River side)

While soaking his feet on the waters, Red would giggle every now and then, looking at the pages of a certain notebook.

He'd move his eyes from page to page, his fingers delicate at every turn.

90% of them were his face. While the others were either cats, herself, her friends or flowers. Man, she must have really think about her that much, huh?

RED: Nevermind that, I look good in these...wow, my eyes look great.

Other reapers would eventually look at him, wondering just what he's looking at.

Why was the red reaper smiling and giggling like a little child?

They couldn't help but feel a bit jealous.

It was impossible not to know Red once in their lives. His eyes were very distinct, and most of them know him for his stoic and rather serious demeanor. Seeing him like that, gave them a mix of curiosity and confusion.

Red suddenly felt aware of reapers staring. And eventually felt embarrassed. But...he simply cannot help but feel gigglish. Afterall, who wouldn't? He felt very flattered recieving this m

kind of gift.

She truly was amazing. Then...he suddenly missed her.

RED: Damn it...it's not even a week and I...I suddenly feel this way. I miss her so much.

Humility then came, rushing towards his friend.

HUMILITY: Are you aware of what happened?

His face was sweating, and Red doesn't know why. Humility's expression looked nervous.

HUMILITY: Do you know what happened?

Red simply gave a puzzled look, then he closed the notebook and stood.

RED: What happened? Why...what's with the face?

HUMILITY: Ah, so you didn't know?

He looked even more worried.

RED: Just spill the beans, Humility!

Red said, dying of anticipation. What could be the matter? Is Gabby hurt? What happened? Oh no...this better be not about her. He just left and...no...this is bad.

HUMILITY: Deltha...he's...he's taken to the Divine Chamber.

RED: What?! Why? What happened???!

HUMILITY: He's half dead...

RED: Half...half dead??! This...this is so bad.

HUMILITY: I...I don't know how Madamme would react. They all assumed he was dead.

RED: Yeah, but...damn. Did you see how Deltha looked?

HUMILITY: Looks so...corpse like. Anyways, your precious Gabby is also here.

Gabby??? Is here??? Red could not believe his ears. His expression shifted from worry to excitement.

RED: Really?!

HUMILITY: Yeah, but don't be too overjoyed. You are still supposed to be a bit of apart from one another.

RED: I see...but it means I can still see her.

HUMILITY: Yes, so... Do you mind coming quickly? If you do, follow me now. I still don't know if Madamme is alright. It must have been a shock. And perhaps she's going through a mix of emotions right now.

Red wasted no time and quickly put the notebook on his leather bag. He dried his feet and put on his shoes, then followed the purple eyed reaper to the chamber.

...

Alice was in pure shock. Seeing her brother before her own eyes, was a miracle.

She couldn't help but cry seeing him in this poor state.

Though his changes were drastic, his blue eyes saved him from being rejected. His eyes were distinct. Shimerring like diamonds, a mirror of heaven.

She quickly ran away from her seated throne to give her brother half her flare.

Deltha only cried as he watched his sister heal him. She didn't even question anyone and just straight up healed him.

Her amber eyes...they were overflowing with tears.

Deltha, even though still weak, had managed to put his hand on her cheek to wipe his sister's tears.

DELTHA: Please don't cry.

But she did anyways.

How could she stop?

He looks so pitiful.

ALICE: I'm so sorry. Please forgive me!

She apologized. Hugging her brother. How long have they been apart? She had forgot already.

Feeling her warmth yet again, Deltha thanked God for every passing second he had spent in her arms.

He had never been hugged for hundreds of decades long.

This...this was the one thing that cured him.
