The sunlight has never been this satisfying. It started to melt the frozen ponds, and gave Tokyo a whole new view again.
One could tell that the once white spots started to slowly have more color in them. It was a magical moment for many.
Although some did miss the skiing trips and the cold winter, along with their chances to wear their favorite scarfs and winter coats.
When every hint of snowfall was no where to be found, it's as if...
Winter had never came at all..
And everywhere where soil was present, flowers, leaves, grass began to bloom and sprout.
The leafless trees of sakuras, began to grow buds. And one could only feel the excitement, waiting for them to one day bloom fully.
Many animals were back, either from migration, or from a slumber they took to save themselves from hunger.
Birds began to tweet loudly, their cheerful tunes becoming the reason why most people leave bed to start a brand new day.
They perched in the neighborhood's backyard trees, singing good morning tweets while greeting the other birds as well.
Such a well missed time.
And while winter was over, a few could still feel silly cold, probably still adjusting to the new temperature.
It was a wonderful switch. Although one couldn't deny the fact that some still prefer winter over spring. But spring, we all need spring in our lives.
Spring is life. Rebirth.
A sign of a new start, new beginning...
Murasaki was watching, as Gabby's mother bawled her eyes off upon the discovery that Gabby was alright.
She squeezed her body into a tight hug, kissing her cheeks and telling her that she was worried sick.
He smiles at the scene, half of him missing his mother, the other just happy that finally she was alright.
Gabby's mother won't almost leave her be, but the time to go and tend to their business on another country had been calling her now.
Not wanting Gabby accompanying her to a car, since she might just end up crying and not leaving her only daughter again, she insisted that Murasaki takes her there, jokingly saying that he'll get her blessings if he did so.
Murasaki laughs it off, though he was hopeful that half of her words deemed true.
He zips on his yellow jacket then stretched his arms, walking her mother to a taxi.
Before he completely fades away from Gabby's view however, he smiles at Gabby one last time, then waves her good bye.
Gabby didn't speak back, only smiled at him.
But her heart was thumping quickly and she can't explain it.
Something about Murasaki makes her feel...flustered?
Well...
Since he arranged all the operations in finding her, (although they were no use) and forced her to take his money, paying half the expense in repairing her room, it was clear that no matter what, he would always be the friend she needed time and time again.
No matter how many times she push her feelings away, her childhood friend had always been...always been there in his serious manly face.
He had always been there for her whenever he could since he returned.
She sighed. What kind of friend has she been to him then?
Was she good to him?
Is she even deserving of his love?
She have truly done nothing in order to return the favor.
Not that her feelings were fading for Red, her first true love but...
She can't help but think if she and Murasaki could be indeed a great match.
Her parents kept insisting they start dating, and even her friend, Tiwari...
Oh gosh. She won't stop talking about it for days..
Then comes their other office mates, telling her that he was hot rich and handsome, and what a fool of her to countlessly reject her everytime he asks.
Except for Jerico though, who believes that if she's not ready yet, it's okay.
She was just 20 anyways.

Red looked at her, admiration present in his eyes.
One would expect a girl, given so many unexplainable things to experience almost every week...
would start to crumble and began crying almost every time.
Showing weakness and vulnerability.
But...she was able to hide her deepest fears whenever she faces a person.
She was able to live a double life.
How incredible.
RED: Gabby?
GABBY: Hm?
Gabby walks upstairs to unlock her room, since she'll look like an idiot talking to air.
Once she did, the black lab hurries inside, followed by Red.
GABBY: So...what is it?
Red smiled at her, not sure how to say it, but after all the crazy things she went through, he thinks it's worth to say this things, to at least ease her mind and lift the heavy feeling in her chest.
She can't tell anyone about her situation no matter what, or else she might have to go through trips of unnecessary therapies.
Gabby was waiting patiently, confused of why he looks red all over.
RED: I just want to say how...how amazing you are.
Then it switched. She was the one red all over.
'Darn it Red...how can you make me forget my feelings for you...when you're saying things like that... This...is...Torture!'
She tried to keep her childish squealing inside.
Although doing such required her a lot of willpower.
GABBY: Stop saying such things...I...
RED: Just accept it.
Gabby sighs then turns around, trying to act composed but took that pose to finally hold her smile.
GABBY: Look what you did!
RED: What? What did I did?
GABBY: You made me feel all..
RED: All?
GABBY: Nevermind! Forget it!
RED: Ah, let's see. Miss Nickolas is blushing?
GABBY: Idiot! You told me to forget my feelings for you, but why did you say that? Out of the blue too! How can I throw my feelings away with such behaviour! Mister Red Reaper!
RED: Hey, is genuinely complementing someone considered flirting now?
GABBY: You're so unfair! How can you keep up with this? I love you so bad and you'll just joke it off. How could you???
RED: And how could you still stay undecided with Jerico and Murasaki fighting for your love? Just choose one already so we can both move on, silly.
GABBY: You move on!

She began hitting him, as he laughs continously.
RED: What is this? Why is a big hump of cloud tickling me?
GABBY: Hey! Am I this weak?

Gabby gave up. Then began thinking what Red said, to which Red ultimately corrects.
RED: I'm just joking. Discard that from your brain. You don't choose to marry a guy for gene combos. That's just...weird lol.
GABBY: Whatever. But who to choose then?
RED: For the last time, it's up to you. Not to me. And I'm straight, so there's no way I can envision myself choosing one of them.
GABBY: Hmph.
RED: It's not my fault. And atleast you have options.
GABBY: You're right. But I just don't feel anything yet. Maybe if you were ruder, I wouldn't have kept my feelings for you this long.
RED: Are you telling me I should be rude to you?
GABBY: Maybe try?
