Jinko had his everstone checked to a dark elf, to make sure it's legitimate, but unfortunately, Jinko missed an important detail of the everstone.
While his stone is true and can truly suck abilities, he won't be able to use it if he's not a spirit of a thousand more years of age.
Jinko felt angry that his efforts had gone to waste, until...a bright idea came to mind.
While the everstone cannot be used by him, there's a lot of old entities who could.
He just need to find them and trade it to them if they DO cause harm and finally put the end of the reaper trio.
He thanks the dark elf, and hands him a dozen of his feathers, which to the elve, is a great ingredient for his magical spells.
The elf thanks him back and proceeds to ground his feathers on a bowl, then placing it on a jar.
Jinko smirks, then leaves, flying to find the oldest entities and neglected demons that would help him carry on with his plan.
One everstone.
That's all it takes to keep them following you.
There are a lot of spirits, restless ghouls and more that can be found in Tokyo. You just have to know where to look...
His search leads him to Aka Manto(Red Cloak).
Aka Manto is a male spirit, sometimes called a ghost(yokai) wearing a mask and a red cloack.
His legacy is that he victimizes female using bathrooms by asking this one specific question:
What do you want? The blue tissue? or the red one?
Although choosing either will result to certain death.
If you picked the red one, it will lacerate you(skin you, pull out your body tissues, may chop your head and slit body parts) to the point of you being red all over, and appearing to be wearing a red cloak.
If you said 'blue,' it will strangle you to death by suffocation, until your face is all blue.
If you try to run away, it will follow you and block the exit. Escape had been very rare. And you'll die most times.
That made the entity quite cocky of his achievements. And quite distant from others. But one couldn't deny how powerful he really is.
...
The Aka Manto stops his steps as the Jinx approaches him.
He gave an unfriendly feedback, by pushing the jinx away from him, but the jinx holds his hand.
AKA MANTO: *speaking in Japanese*
What is it that you want? Can't you see I'm busy?
Jinko looks unamazed.
JINKO: *speaking in Japanese*
Will you help me kill a certain person?
AKA MANTO: *speaking in Japanese*
And why would I? It's not like we're close or anything. Leave me be.
JINKO: *speaking in Japanese*
You're hiding your face because you're insecure of a burn you have on the left side of your face. Though some still describe you as handsome, you like to hide it. But with this everstone of mine, you will be able to maintain your handsome features.
AKA MANTO: *speaking in Japanese*
And what made you think I'll believe you?
The entity holds his mask firmly, as if insecure that Jinko had managed to point out his biggest flaw.
JINKO: *speaking in Japanese*
I know what you went through that you became this vengeful spirit. Most of their stories were wrong. And there's a reason behind your actions. If you kill her successfully, you will never have to hide your face again.
The Aka Manto relaxes his tensed shoulders a bit, before standing firmly.
Jinko didn't know what reaction he had at that point, because he's wearing a mask.
In a matter of seconds, he finally nodded his head, then shakes hand with the Jinx.
JINKO: I will give you the everstone if you completed your mission.
AKA MANTO: I surely will.
The two talked for a moment about what Jinko had in mind, to which the Aka Manto listens to with extreme focus.
Jinko also points out the strength of each reaper, to which the Aka Manto only laughs about.
The Jinx warned him to take it seriously, and to avoid the White Reaper at all times.
Jinko wanted to tear their friendship apart, by losing the girl, and destroying the Red Reaper.
The yokai agrees then decided to settle things after he conducts a plan for his attack.
The entity vanishes from sight, his toilet papers in hand.
Perhaps this time, he gets to break the rules of his legacy and add another place of target.
