At first, Feng Xue Er had no idea what she was going to do. She was simply hurrying to the basement out of desperation, having exhausted all other avenues of approach. She wanted to find a way to stop the bloodshed and for some reason she remembered the summoning formation in the basement of her palace.
On her way there, she ran into her favorite pet, Xiao Bai. A white snow phoenix that she had found in some phoenix perching valley a couple of years ago. Snow phoenixes were hard to raise, yet she was able to tame him and they grew close over the years. However, this being a phoenix, he was a little too difficult for her to keep him in her room, so she decided to go to the artificial nest that her father built for her pet to pay her good friend a visit.
