I could only laugh awkwardly as the headmaster and teachers praised me during the banquet. They held it the night my party and I returned, not exactly intent on wasting time. Apparently, my victory over the Heavenly Venom King, Sha Chen, was a big deal. I honestly didn't see what the big deal was, but whatever.
Besides, I had more important matters to be concerned about. Unfortunately, it was only proper etiquette to attend the party they were throwing in my honor. I couldn't exactly reject attendance of the banquet or it would make me look snobbish. Not to mention, it was also pretty rude.
However, I would really prefer to keep a low profile if possible…
