The terrifying sight of about a hundred ghosts descending upon my position sent dread through the hearts of the spectators. Honestly, I would have been horrified by such a frightening scene of so many howling ghosts swooping toward me, but I had more important things to do than scream.
First, I had to deal with the threat right in front of me.
The ghosts weren't the most pressing issue at the moment. Rather, I was staring at a gigantic phantom claw that was sinking from the heavens. It was similar to the one I saw attacking Qin Lie a few days ago.
Stretching about twenty meters in diameter, the ghostly claw dwarfed me. Hell, it took up a large portion of the stage. I had no doubt that if it would hit, it would leave a colossal crater. To the sides, the instructors stirred, getting ready to save me if necessary. But they didn't make a move yet because they sensed that I wasn't out of cards just yet.
And I did have a card left. A couple, to be honest.
