"Hey, wake up!"
I groaned and stirred for a few seconds, trying to make sense of what had just happened. Reaching up, I adjusted my glasses and blinked, trying to track my surroundings.
"Where am I?"
"For starters, you're on my bed."
At the voice, I jolted up, only to see an old man glaring at me. Blinking, I realized that he was right. I was lying on a bed – a typical mattress atop a bedframe, with covers and a pillow. The soft mattress and pillow felt incredibly comfortable and I was loathe to climb out, but given that this wasn't my bed, it wouldn't do for me to sit on it for too long.
"Sorry!" I immediately got out of the bed and bowed. "And thank you!"
The memories were returning to me now. The last thing I remembered was unleashing Yin Yang Amalgamation Strike at pointblank range against Luo Yu. The explosion had engulfed me, and then I lost consciousness shortly after that.
"You saved my life. Thank you. I really appreciate it."
