Over the next week, the seven stars pillars gradually changed ownership one by one. Every night, a star pillar would swap the displayed personal insignia from an elegant flower to a badly drawn bespectacled dragon that everyone mistook for a bookworm.
To my utter surprise, I found out that I was actually capable of surpassing Zhou Xin Qi's high scores and replace her personal insignia with mine. Apparently, I was the only person patient and persistent enough to last all the way until the very end, answering every single question in a slow and steady manner.
That was the reason why I achieved the all-time high scores. I scored the maximum marks possible by answering every single question. Whoa. I didn't realize that at all.
Unfortunately, not everyone was amazed by my achievement. Rather, they sounded pretty pissed about it.
"What's going on?"
"Did you see him?"
"Catch him! Wait outside the damned pillar! We can't let him go!"
