Rita drove off from Don's residence and never looked back. First she wanted to drive off to New Jersey where her mom resides in the house her father had left them after he died. She would be far from Don but within reach if he wanted to harm her, she thought.
She battled between running to New Jersey immediately and seeing Daniel first, he has been through a lot because of me, she thought. If there is going to be a running away, it would be her and Daniel doing it together. She swung her staring into Hill Top road heading towards the Tampa General Hospital where Daniel was receiving treatment.
After about 20 minutes of driving she came to a stop in front of the hospital. There where lots of activities going on around the entrance, police vehicles with sirens blasting here and there and cops loitering the vicinity. She got of her car and made her way through the crowd and entered the hospital, police restricted free entry and she stood there for the first time in a long while not having the immunity to break protocol.
"Hello Mrs. Don, follow me." A cop she couldn't recognize called out to her and she pushed her way through to get to where he was. "Sorry we have a situation here and movements are restricted." The fat cop said adjusting his trouser. "My name is Fin by the way, do you have a particular business here today?" Fin asked as he guided her towards the entrance.
"Thank you Officer Fin, i actually wanted to see a friend who is hospitalized here." She said as she followed Fin to the entrance where the cops on guard stood aside and let both Fin and Rita enter the lobby of the Hospital.
"So officer, what happened here?" Rita asked when she was safely inside the complex and away from the bustling of the crowd trying to make their way into the hospital complex.
"There was an attempt to kill a crime witness that was under police custody, but we were prepared for that occurrence but we lost a few good men and the attacker also lost her life." Fin said acting ignorant of the fact that he knew Rita was there to see Daniel.
They both took the elevator and got to the second floor when they stepped out of the elevator, Rita saw the medical team bagging dead bodies inclusive was a very pretty nurse.
"A nurse also lost her life?" Rita said in shock and out of pity.
"Not exactly. She was the attacker actually and also a fake nurse." Fin said smiling from the corner of his mouth. "Daniel is in ward number seven, when you take the right turn you wont miss it. I will radio for the boys to receive you before you get there." Fin said and headed towards the veranda where Jason and Sera was waiting.
Rita was surprised that Fin knew who she was there to visit, he must have been involved in the investigation of Dora to be able to link both herself and Daniel, she thought as she made her way towards the wards.
Fin walked to the end of the corridor and joined Jason and Sera by the veranda.
"She is here?" Fin said
"Who is here?" Sera asked
"Mrs. Rita Don Kane."

The team of armed men in the van had driven off from where they waited after the heard gunshots through the radio. There wasn't supposed to be a gun shot the assignment was suppose to be quiet and simple, get in, disguise and inject the mark to death.
With the event of gun fire it means she had failed and her failure was supposed to be part of the plan that wasn't discussed in her presence. If she failed then the boys will go in gun blazing.
Soon they arrived at the police crowed entrance of the hospital. The back of the van opened and armed men with bullet proof vest, knee and elbow protector jumped out of the van and began to open fire at the cops in the front of the hospital. The crowd began to run in the opposite direction making the whole entrance look like a messed up ant hill.

Jason, Fin and Sera where discussing about the presence of Rita when they had the shooting downstairs.
Jason quickly peeped over the railings and saw armed men making their way into the hotel lobby. First thing that came to his mind was that, they had relax after the nurse had been killed and they never expected a second wave of attack from the assailants.
"All units be advised. we have about 7 heavily armed men making their way into the hotel, shoot at will." Jason spoke into the radio.
Jason turned and saw Sera already checking her magazine and Fin was on the radio too dishing out instructions.
"Stay low and stay behind me." Jason said.
"Like hell i will, you need to focus and help run these fuckers out or down." Sera said placing one hand on his cheek.
"These type don't get run out, they either run you out or die trying." Jason said looking into her eyes.
"If that's the case then lets run then to their graves." Fin said as he drew his gun and the three of them began to make their way towards the corridor housing Daniel.
The sound of gun shots was becoming loud as the shooters where already in the building and making their way up through the staircase. patients and their visitors ran here and there across the corridor Doctors and nurses and other staffs where not excluded too. Other cops who had played under cover in the first wave where seen with weapons drawn and hiding at corners.
"Get away from the corridor!" Sera screamed at the confused crowd.
"Get into the rooms and stay down." Jason Joined in to and the rest of the officers began to urge the crowd to get into any room. those other occupants of the rooms around where Daniel was were evacuated and taken to other wards for safety as the sound of gun fire became very loud and obviously close.
"Get behind the counter." Fin told on the the undercover cop and he too hid behind one of the pillars by the entrance of the west wing corridor.

Rita had just got into Daniels ward when the sound of gun fire started. She lost all the excitement and froze with her arms open as she didn't complete the hug process before the blast filled the air.
"They are back!" Daniel screamed as the two officers who had not left his side since the first wave pulled out there weapon again and listen to the commands on the radio.
"Get under the bed both of you." One of the police officers said as he over turned the table and used it to barricade the door.
"Do what he say Rita, come give me your hand." Daniel said he too got off from the bed, he felt a sharp pain on his left knee but he didn't it any heed he grabbed Rita and they both laid flat on the ground the other cop over turned the iron bed and used it as a shield to cover Daniel and Rita as he hide.
"No get up you guys into the bathroom, now!" The same cop who had asked them to get under the bed now discovered the attack was not as immediate as he expected, Rita helped Daniel up and both of the quickly moved into the bathroom and shot the door. Even from there they could here the gun shots become very loud.
"What is going on?" Rita asked as soon as they where locked in together.
"There was an earlier attempt to kill me and i am thinking this is another."
"Don't tell me its my husband."
"As much as i don't want to say he is, i know he is the initiator of these attacks."
Rita felt bad for Daniel as she looked into his eyes, she drew him into her hands and hugged him tightly. "No one is going to get to you without going through me first."

A huge man in a black jump suit with black bullets proof vest visible on his huge frame, walked through the door that leads the staircase. he had an automatic assault rifle and he tossed a smoke grenade into the lobby and went back behind door.
"Smoke, Smoke" One of the closest cops to the staircase door screamed and run further in.
Suddenly three hug frames appeared out of the smoke and bullet began to fly across the lobby.
Fin stood behind the pillar as bullet flied all around him, debris from the shattering wall flew everywhere and he still remain still, on the guys kept walking towards him and he still waited patiently behind the pillar.
Jason was laying on the ground beside the counter with his hands covering his face as he tried to avoid the debris getting into his eyes, but when he heard the sound of a shoe stepping on the floor filled with particulars of the pillar he knew one of the intruders was standing close to him.
Jason managed to look towards the noise, the smoke didn't give him good visual but he was able too the the intruder first so he shot at the man and the man was shaken by the force of the bullet but he kept moving towards Jason who decided to shoot at the mans leg.
The man screamed and went down on one knee then Jason put another bullet straight in between the mans head and he dropped to the ground.
The other intruder came side by side with Fin who still still leaning on the pillar. The man had his gun raise but he had stopped shooting, Fin saw that as an opportunity to disarm the man so he grabbed the rifle and began a possession contest with the huge man. the man punch Fin on the neck and unbalanced him before he gripped Fin on the shirt and flung him meters away.
Fin fell on his left hand and the pain shot-up, into his brain as he screamed. Just then the intruder reach for his riffle handing over his head and just when he want to point and shoot at Fin Sera ran in from God knows where and kicked the gun away from the assailants hand.
The gun fell off his hands but still hung across his neck, Sera didn't stop she threw a punch and grab the mans head dragging it into her knee. The man staggered backward and Sera reached for her gun and shot the assailant in the head.
Soon the remaining four intruders joined the last guy of the three that had entered first. the shooting became intense.
"Let press towards the room that fuck is being kept." The guy who seem to be the leader announced over the noise.
"Move out." Another screamed as they began to press forward.
Two of the undercover cops keep returning fire for fire and the guy who acted like he was the leader of the pack shot one dead while the other sprang up to change cover when he too got shot in the back and another in the head.
Jason crept the the end of the counter and peeked at the moving intruders. He knew that if they get the door to Daniels ward it was over so he was bent on causing a distraction.
Jason saw afire extinguisher on the was and reached for it, he made sure no of the intruders caught sight of him. He threw the cylinder at the intruders who where walking away towards where Daniel was hiding and one of the men turned and shot a few bullets at where Jason had docked.
When Jason didn't here any more gun shot fired at him he careful got to a shooting position again and fire two bullets at the cylinder and it exploded knocking the intruders to the ground.
The whole corridor became white due to the content of the fire extinguisher, it was difficult to make out anyone as it worsened the condition the gas grenade had created earlier.
Jason heard coughing inside the clouded corridor and he release four shots and the whole place remained quiet again. A few seconds more the intruders returned fire, bullets flew at every corner Jason dived behind a chair and kept crawling till he was safe behind a wall.
The condition of sight in the corridor soon dissipate and Jason could see he had shot one of the intruders when the cylinder had gone off, but he was still alive.
"I have one of the guys injured and lying on the ground." i am going in to drag him back here, i need cover." Jason said into the radio and soon he got a go ahead from Sera, Fin and the other guys with him....
Jason creeped forward from where he had gone to hide behind a wall, he carefully made his way to the fallen criminal and before the guy could protest, Jason began to drag him.
"Get off of me you son-of-a-bitch" The assailant screamed and attracted the attention of his men.
Sera began to fire at the intruders who seemed to have re-evaluated there priority and there mind on killing Daniel, they began to walk towards their fallen colleague who was being dragged away by Jason.
