Oi, isn't that the kid?"
"Haaa, oh ya this little brat?"
"Me deixar ir!" shouted Gabriel who wasn't too familiar with english. Gabriel had said: "Let me go!" but these thugs weren't familiar with Portuguese.
"Haaa? What did ya' say ya?" slurred one man as he swung his arm aiming for Gabriel's head but Gabriel ducked in time and made a run for it. "Oi! Get tha' filthy' kid ya'!" yelled the man as the two chased the boy.
Luckily Gabriel reached his creaky cabin and slammed the door so hard that it rattled.
After a while the thugs left and Gabriel went to his Ma's room. "Ma estou em casa!" Gabriel greeted his Ma kneeling next to her bed. Gabriel had said: "Ma I'm Home!". Gabriel's ma: Kamala chuckled and Gabriel sat on his knees. Gabriel's ma said "Você pegou o pão?".
"eu fiz bad." Gabriel said kissing his Ma's cheek and hugging her. Gabriel then placed the bag of bread and milk on her bed. "E agora?" asked Gabriel as he sat down next to his ma. "sim." she answered slowly opening her eyes. "Okay, and ma that was good practice!" Gabriel smiled. His ma let her lips carve into a smile and she opened her mouth, Gabriel took out a loaf of bread and fed his Ma a little piece.
Gabriel's ma ate until she couldn't no more. Gabriel smiled and bid his ma goodbye, Gabriel changed his baggy clothes into a plain white shirt and overalls with short pants. Gabriel had a bag wrapped around his neck and a black hat. Gabriel wanted to set to sea that particular evening.
